The Smackdown/ECW tapings are tonight from the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, OH. We’re looking for reports from the show to [email protected]

ECW tonight on Sci-Fi has David Hart Smith vs. Finlay.

Vince McMahon went on a complete rampage yesterday against billionaire Denver Nuggets and Pepsi Center owner Stan Kroenke, going on ESPN with Jonathon Coachman, in what was clearly a well calculated publicity stunt, calling Kroenke inept, and saying he should be “arrested for impersonating a good businessman” over the debacle that currently leaves WWE without a building to run Raw next Monday. WWE sent out a release on the situation which was picked up by the Associated Press (http://tinyurl.com/p9m8hn), Sports Illustrated, CNN, The New York Times, TSN in Canada, The Sun in the UK, and various other media outlets. You can watch Vince with Coachman on ESPN, including a slip of the tongue referring to WWE as the World Wrestling Federation, at http://tinyurl.com/qsul9m

While Vince is threatening to send ring trucks to Denver next Monday two possible solutions were discussed internally. The first idea was to do a Raw taping on Saturday night at the house show in Salt Lake City. The second idea was to tape the show on Monday at the World Arena in Colorado Springs, where they are taping Smackdown on Tuesday. The later idea is the most likely as it would be an easy switch plus Denver to Colorado Springs is not much of a distance to travel for fans who have already purchased tickets. WWE is claiming an advanced sell out for Denver but it’s confirmed that they cannot run the Pepsi Center.

The pre Raw dark match last night was Sheamus O’Shaunnessy over Jamie Noble. For Superstars they taped CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho and Kofi Kingston vs. William Regal.

The basic translation of what Maryse said to The Miz during the backstage segment on Raw was girls like her don’t like guys like him.

Vale Anoia, sister of recently released Manu, on Randy Orton’s burial of him at www.the-sun.co.uk/wrestling: “(Randy) had no business trashing my brother in an interview. Manu was released, that’s punishment enough.
Randy doesn’t have to go and keep digging the thorns in even deeper after the fact.”

Shane Helms was doing some ass kissing last night on his Twitter
account: “I know people will think I’m being biased, I’m honestly not, but I think HHH would have been a great Thor.”

Candice Michelle spent this past weekend at a motivational seminar.

Jenny Quinn (Fifi) in developmental tore her ACL and will be out of the ring for several months.

Kelly Kelly noted in a recent interview that she was still dating Andrew Martin at the time of his death, and said that she hasn’t dated anyone since he passed.

Kayfabe alert. John Cena, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase left the arena together in the same car following Judgment Day in Chicago.
