  3. Why does the WWE Universe hate the Miz?

MizI’ll be the first one to tell you that I cannot stand The Miz no more than anyone else. If you think about it, why do we dislike him so much? Is it the fact that is cocky, annoying, and obnoxious? He has been pushed down our throats? If you look at his history then maybe you will have a different opinion on “the awesome one”

Now everyone knows about how he got onto WWE through “the real world” reality show on MTV then onto tough enough back in 2004. He did not win the show but a job in the land of the giants. Now The Miz didn’t pay his Indy dues but the WWE one no doubt.

He worked dark matches in 2005 then made his WWE TV debut on SmackDown in 2006 as a host. Now he was a good host no doubt. He has that talking, walking attitude where he is was over confident.

He wasn’t anyone until he meets up with John Morrison. The team was what it was and basically filler. They weren’t bad or good. They were over looked respectfully and wasn’t noticed. He is the kind where you wonder how he became a WWE superstar.  He and Morrison worked against a number of tag teams and no one cared.

After that team carried through 07 -08, he teamed up the Big Show and he was yet again an afterthought with the largest athlete in his corner. When you saw them you only saw the big show because he was s a made star.

Let’s skip ahead to where he got his main event push; he won the money in the bank briefcase in the summer of 2010. Me and a lot of other people saw it as ok this is going to be the first guy to lose when he cashes in. He is a smaller guy that has decent wrestling skills but no “top guy” potential.  Sure enough in the fall of that year he cashed in on Randy Orton and won the title.

At the time you had a guy like CM Punk on SmackDown who had the SES and was the top heel in the company. You saw he had “it” but apparently the upper management did not. Punk went on to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 27. Punk will always state that no one had more heat or a more hated bad guy in the company than him. Let’s face it, did WWE see punk as the next guy? Probably not but they did have big plans with him.

If you remember WWE had huge plans for the Rock vs. John Cena at next year’s WrestleMania. Since the rock came back it was all about the building of him and Cena. They had him as the host then they needed someone to carry the title into and out of the biggest show of the year. They went back and forth with a forgettable match then bam the rock hit the ring and laid out Cena with the rock bottom. People forget but Miz got a concussion in the match where he hit his head on the floor.

At the next month’s WWE PPV John Cena defeated both The Miz and John Morrison.

He feuded with Cena for a couple months then went Unnoticed. He captured the U.S and intercontinental titles then onto some various feuds.

Now days when you see The Miz on TV you have to wonder why he is on national TV. Some will say he was pushed for the right things and some will say he was over pushed. At the end of the day he is now in the place where we all think he should be.
