Eddie Guerrero Charged - Dave Meltzer on November 11, 2001
For obvious reasons, the news that Eddie Guerrero was arrested early yesterday morning on a DUI charge near his home in Land O'Lakes, FL was really sad given the timing because Guerrero is very well liked within the profession and this certainly puts his WWF future in question at least short-term. There is a short article in today's Tampa Tribune. If you look back at wrestlers who have gone into rehab, the reality is the vast majority don't end with happy endings.

The Eddie Guerrero Saga - Brad Dykens on November 14, 2001
Eddie Guerrero has been one of my favorites for a long long time. He is such an incredible athlete and great performer! That's what makes his recent departure from the WWF so unfortunate. Guerrero still had entertaining programs ahead of him with his nephew Chavo, Jericho, Benoit, Storm, Tajiri, and even Kurt Angle. Eddie Guerrero always put everything into his character, and always bleed for the company he worked for.. That made him the perfect employee.. On a roster full of jabronies and lamers, Eddy's return would have been a refreshing sight, so I know I speak for wrestling fans all around the world when I say, I hope Eddy gets his Demons under control someday and makes a great return to the wrestling ring..
