  • Droz is known for throwing up on the football during a televised Monday Night Football game.
  • February 20, 1998 – ECW: ECW TV champion Taz defeated Darren Drozdov to retain the title.
  • March 6, 1998 – ECW: Al Snow defeated Darren Drozdov.
  • March 7, 1998 – ECW: Chris Chetti and Jerry Lynn defeated Darren Drozdov and Danny Doring.
  • April 17, 1998 – ECW: Al Snow defeated Darren Drozdov.
  • April 18, 1998 – ECW: New Jack defeated Darren Drozdov.

  • November 15, 1998 – HEAT: The JOB Squad (Bob Holly & Scorpio) defeated LOD 2000 (Animal & Droz).
  • November 16, 1998 – RAW: Edge and Gangrel defeated Animal and Droz by Count Out.
  • November 29, 1998 – HEAT: Droz defeated Marc Mero in a dark match.
  • December 6, 1998 – HEAT: LOD 2000 (Animal & Droz) defeated Too Much (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor).
  • December 6, 1998 – Capitol Carnage: The Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher) defeated The Legion of Doom (Droz and Animal).
  • This was the end of the relationship between Droz and the Legion of Doom – Animal and Droz engaged in a brawl after the match.

  • October 5, 1999 – SmackDown! Taping: Droz was paralyzed during a match with D-Lo Brown at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island.
  • ~~~The injury occured from a botched Running PowerBomb from D-Lo – landing on his head, and fracturing two disks in his neck.

Retirement:

  • Droz remained on WWF staff helping out with commentary on WWF.COM as well as WWF Magazine.
  • Droz was recently given an undisclosed amount of money by WWE to compensate for the injury that led to his paralysis.
  • June 30, 2023 – Darren Drozdov passed away at the age of 54.
