Lucas wrote (via the Kayfabe Memories Forum): Around 1968-1969 I saw heel Johnny Long (on Chattanooga, Tenn. tv) hit Dennis Hall with a real (a big one) FISH!! Mgr. Saul Weingeroff reached into a big paper bag he had at ringside, & handed his man Long the fish. The ref was down from a "ref bump" & wasn't watching. Big Johhny smacked Dennis Hall in the back of the head with the fish (on tv it made a loud smacking sound) & Dennis went down like he'd been shot. Long made the cover, mgr. Weingeroff revived the ref, & the ref counted three & Long won the bout, thanks to mgr. Saul's fish in the bag!
