  2. IN THE RING: John Bradshaw Layfield + Rey Mysterio..
    • JBL said that he was the victim of the greatest tragedy ever by losing to Rey Mysterio at Judgment Day..
    • JBL challenged Rey Mysterio to a rematch right there tonight to prove Judgment Day was just a big fluke..
    • Rey Mysterio came out and said JBL was the United States Champion and he hasn't been taking on all comers..
    • JBL said he has always taken on all comers, so Rey Mysterio introduced JBL's opponent tonight -- Bobby Lashley!

  3. UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH: Bobby Lashley defeated John Bradshaw Layfield to win the title!
    • Bobby Lashley ducked the clotheline from hell and hit JBL with a spear to win the U.S. title in about 60 seconds!

  4. BACKSTAGE: Theodore Long & John Bradshaw Layfield..
    • John Bradshaw Layfield barged into GM Long's office and protested wildly until GM Long threatened to fire him!
    • John Bradshaw Layfield said if he cannot beat Rey Mysterio for the title tonight he will quit Smackdown! forever..
    • Theodore Long liked the idea so much that he booked JBL vs Rey Mysterio for the main event tonight!

  5. MATCH: Tatanka defeated Simon Dean...

  6. BACKSTAGE: Theodore Long & Matt Hardy & Paul Heyman..
    • Theodore Long and Matt Hardy were found backstage discussing something when ECW's Paul Heyman entered the room..
    • Theodore Long took great exception to Paul Heyman's presense, suspecting that he was there to raid SD!'s talent..
    • Theodore Long said he doesn't like or trust Paul Heyman and doesn't want him snooping around the locker room..

  7. MATCH: Mark Henry vs Chris Benoit ended in a No Contest..
    • The band Three 6 Mafia performed Mark Henry's entrance music live as Mark Henry was introduced to the crowd..
    • Mark Henry viciously destroyed Chris Benoit and later rammed him multiple times into the ringpost at ringside..
    • Mark Henry slid the unconscious Chris Benoit into the ring and applied a modified version of the camel clutch..
    • Editor's Notes: This effectively wrote Chris Benoit out of the storyline to take time off due to nagging injuries..

  8. IN-RING SEGMENT: William Regal + King Booker & Queen Sharmell..
    • William Regal came out and introduced Booker T and Sharmell (who came out on a rolling thrown on wheels)..
    • William Regal recited the royal proclamation as Booker T & Sharmell relished every moment of their coronation..
    • William Regal proclaimed "All hail his royal heiness... King Booker!" and handed the mic to Sharmell..
    • Sharmell shreaked into the mic demanding that all the fans bow down to the King (Regal & Chimmel did it)..
    • Sharmell then placed the crown on Booker's head and cape over his shoulders and gave him the royal septor..
    • Booker T said that every great King needs a great queen and proclaimed Sharmell as the first royal queen..
    • Booker T said all the fans and all the guys backstage need to learn how to bow down to their new KING!
    • William Regal shouted "Long Live King Booker!" as King Booker and Queen Sharmell exited the ring.........

  9. BACKSTAGE: Nunzio & Big Vito..
    • Nunzio talked about their match saying if they win tonight they could be #1 Contenders for the Tag titles..
    • Nunzio noticed Big Vito was on edge and asked if he was upset because of all the rumors going around about him..

  10. NON (TAG) TITLE MATCH: Brian Kendrick & Paul London defeated Nunzio & Big Vito..

  11. BACKSTAGE: Rey Mysterio & Chavo Guerrero..
    • Chavo Guerrero said he was there to support Rey Mysterio and was worried that Rey was not 100% tonight..
    • Chavo Guerrero said he may be retired but he will be in Rey Mysterio's corner against JBL tonight!

  12. MATCH: Fit Finlay defeated "Pirate" Paul Burchill..
    • After the match, Fit Finaly pulled a midget leprecaun (aka Short Sleeve Sampson) from under the ring ..
    • The leprecaun viciously attacked Paul Burchill and Finlay slammed him onto Burchill..
    • Fit Finlay then grabbed the Lebrecaun and pushed him back under the ring!

  13. WORLD TITLE MATCH: Rey Mysterio w/Chavo Guerrero defeated John Bradshaw Layfield to retain..
    • John Bradshaw Layfield initially won the match but the referee changed his mind and restarted the match!
    • The referee was later knocked out and JBL got a chair and knocked out Chavo Guerrero and went after Rey..
    • JBL swung the chair at Rey Mysterio, who ducked and hit a low blow, followed up with a DDT onto the chair!
    • Rey Mysterio got rid of the chair and hit a 510 and West Coast Pop and scored the 1-2-3 to win the match!
    • As stipulated, John Bradshaw Layfield was forced to quit Smackdown!...................
