- C.M. Punk reminded Edge that he could cash in his title shot any time and suggested that that bothers Edge..
- C.M. Punk said Undertaker can beat Edge, Batista can beat Edge, and he thinks he (Punk) can beat Edge too..

- Montel Vontavious Porter said Matt Hardy was jealous that he (MVP) achieved more in one year than he did it eight..
- Matt Hardy said Sunday at Backlash he will prove to the entire world once and for all that he is better than you (MVP)..
