BACKSTAGE: "The Monster" Abyss arrived at the building and Mike Tenay & Don West wondered what he was there for.. PPV VIDEO: They showed a really great video package featuring highlights from last Sunday's Slammiversary! IN THE RING: Jim Cornette + The Black Machismo (Jay Lethal) + Team 3-D + Kurt Angle.. Jim Cornette said he was going to announce the Victory Road main event and called out all current TNA champions.. Jim Cornette announced that there would be a "Match of the Champions" at the next TNA PPV entitled Victory Road.. Jim Cornette announced that World Champion and the X-Division Champion will go up against the Tag Team Champions.. Jim Cornette said in the next few weeks all the TNA championships will be defended on iMPACT and they must win.. Kurt Angle told Jim Cornette to get his head out of his ass and asked him where were the fire-works for him.. Kurt Angle pulled out a piece of paper and started thanking people; himself, himself, and of course himself.. Kurt Angle turned on the fans and told them to PLEASE hate him because he hates all the TNA fans back.. Jim Cornette said Kurt Angle was paid to compete and there is no glass ceiling and Kurt was gonna compete! Jim Cornette said Kurt Angle would face two former TNA champions next week to qualify for the Match of Champions.. Jim Cornette said The Black Machismo would defend the X-Division title against Chris Sabin and Samoa Joe tonight! INTERVIEW: Jeremy Borash & The Black Machismo (as "The Guru" Sonjay Dutt sat on the floor chanting).. TAG MATCH: James Storm (w/Jackie Moore) & Robert Roode (w/Tracy Brooks) defeating Eric Young & Rhino.. Jackie Moore jumped on Rhino's back and he shrugged her off and James Storm superkicked Rhino and pinned him! After the match: James Storm poured beer into Rhino's mouth and Rhino took a fit and started tossing stuff.. Rhino threw a beer bottle accross the iMPACT zone at James Storm and destroyed the announce table in a fit! VIDEO PACKAGE (REPLAY FROM SLAMMIVERSARY): Jeff Jarrett.. Jeff Jarrett talked about starting TNA with his father five years ago and it being the most rewarding five years.. Jeff Jarrett talked about his wife, Jill Jarrett (who recently passed away from cancer) and about her influence.. Jeff Jarrett said the worst place for him right now would be in the ring but thanked the fans on behalf of Jill.. Back LIVE the fans gave a warm ovation for the interview and chanted "Jill! Jill! Jill!" and "Thank you, Jeff!".. INTERVIEW: Letisha Cline & Samoa Joe (Joe went nuts on little Letisha Cline and cut an angry promo on Kurt Angle).. MATCH: "Wildcat" Chris Harris defeated Raven (w/Havok & Maryr).. Raven is in a lot better shape than he was a few weeks ago - we can only hope he gets more matches in TNA now.. Havok and Maryr interfered to help Raven but Kaz (Frankie Kazarian) ran down and took them out and helped Harris! Afterwards: Christian Cage came on the big screen and said if Chris Harris wanted to be a star he had to beat him.. Christian Cage challenged Chris Harris to a future match. Somebody then showed up off camera who scared Christian! IN THE RING: Christian Cage & Abyss + A.J. Styles & Tomko.. Abyss dragged Christian to the ring and threatened him with a barbed wire bat until Tomko & Styles made the save! Christian Cage & A.J. Styles bailed out and Abyss quickly took care of Tomko - pointing up at Christian on stage.. VIDEO PACKAGE: "Father" James Mitchell said his search for a new 'son' has come to an end and "He's Coming!".. X-DIVISION TITLE 3-WAY: Samoa Joe defeated Jay Lethal (c) and Chris Sabin to win the X-Division Champion!
