WWE SmackDown 10 10 2008

October 10, 2008 – Spokane, Washington
Announcers: Jim Ross & Tazz

IN THE RING
Vickie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero + The Big Show: Vickie Guerrero, who was back in her wheel-chair and neck-brace, talked about the Undertaker Tomb-stoning her two weeks ago during a savage attack. Vickie was clearly pissed off, but was happy about the Undertaker being humiliated at No Mercy. Vickie said the person who was responsible for this will be rewarded with a title match tonight! Vickie introduced the Big Show, who came out with a big smile on his face – bragging about knocking out the Undertaker at No Mercy. The Big Show said after tonight he will not only be the man who knocked the Undertaker out twice, but he will be known as the WWE champion! Vladimir Kozlov interrupted and challenged the winner of tonight’s match between Big Show and Triple H.

DIVAS MATCH
Brie Bella defeated Natalya Neidhart w/Victoria: Once again, Brie Bella climbed under the ring to escape Victoria’s interference. Hornswoggle popped out from under the ring and chased Victoria backstage. Bella popped out on the opposite side, but then climbed back under the ring. One second later, Bella appeared on the other side of the ring again and jumped in and scored the victory over Natalya Neidhart! Pretty cool.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Sho Funaki & R-Truth: Sho Funaki was practicing his “SmackDown! #1 Announcer” thing when he was approached by R-Truth. Funaki said he loved R-Truth’s “What’s Up” song. R-Truth asked what Funaki’s full name was, and Funaki claimed his name was “Kun Fu Naki.” R-Truth started singing the song “Kung Fu Fighting” except using the words Kun Fu Naki.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Triple H & Jeff Hardy: Jeff Hardy sat down with Triple H and said it was insane to wrestle the Big Show five days after No Mercy. Jeff left but came back to say, by the way, I am challenging the winner.

NON (WWE UNITED STATES) TITLE MATCH
R-Truth defeated WWE United States champion Shelton Benjamin in a Non-title match:

SINGLES MATCH
Jeff Hardy defated Montel Vontavious Porter: After the match, Vladimir Kozlov walked to the ring and attacked Jeff Hardy, taking him down with a vicious head-butt to the chest!

VIGNETTE: The did a vignette for a new wrestler named “Kizarny,” being played by developmental wrestler Sin Bowdee aka the Original Sinn. Looks like an interesting character based on the old Carnival circuit.

EIGHT MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
Jesse & Festus & Carlito & Primo Colon defeated Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins & Kenny Dykstra & Ryan Braddock: Maria Kanellis was the pointless guest ring announcer just to get her sweet assets on the show.

HANDICAP MATCH
The Great Khali w/Ranjin Singh defeated ????? & ????? & ?????: Ranjin Singh showed footage of the Great Khali doing the Kiss Cam segment on RAW, proving that he was more entertaining than Johnny Knoxville…… which included Khali giving Lilian Garcia a kiss on the lips! The Great Khali faced off with three jobbers, two of which ran away, and the third was pinned after one chop to the head! Ranjin Singh asked for female volunteer’s who wanted to come into the ring to kiss the Great Khali. Ranjin picked out a “big” girl from the crowd named Jennifer Swanson – I certainly hope she was planted. Jennifer stepped up to Khali for her kiss, and Khali looked at her with shy eyes before giving her the KISS!

WWE TITLE MATCH
WWE Champion Triple H vs. The Big Show ended in a No Contest: Late in the match, the Big Show was dominating Triple H when the lights went out. When they came back on, the Undertaker was in the ring and he attacked the Big Show with furious punches! The Big Show bailed out of the ring, and the lights went off again and the Undertaker was magically transported behind the Big Show – they brawled up the isle and through the curtain. Vladimir Kozlov hit the ring to attack Triple H while he was down. Jeff Hardy ran down to help Triple H, but Kozlov got the best of Hardy as well! Hardy & HHH joined forced to get rid of Kozlov, but then Hardy turned and gave HHH a Twist of Fate! Hardy vs. Kozlov next week on SmackDown!
