CHIKARA: King of Trios 2008 – the biggest wrestling tournament in history!
It will be made up of 84 fighters from around the world – making it the biggest tournament in pro-wrestling history. It will be seen by fans from across the globe – many of whom are making the trek to South Philadelphia to see it live. It will be covered by print and online press outlets in a dozen or more languages – making this year’s installment of the mighty King of Trios into the highest-profile weekend in our company’s lifespan. And so far, the 24 announced trios represent 18 different wrestling organizations from all over creation – not just CHIKARA, but ROH, CZW, IWA:MS and more – like Canada’s IWS and BSE – or Mexico’s IWRG and Promociones Mora – or Japan’s DDT, Wrestle Land, El Dorado – or British independent IPW:UK. There’s also some sea monsters and a bunch of goats coming.
