The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) are no longer the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions after dropping the titles to The Elegance Brand on the debut episode of TNA iMPACT! on AMC. Shortly after the loss, Fightful Select reported that the former champions are set to depart the company.

It was announced back in October that Lee and McKay’s contracts with TNA had expired, even as they went on to win the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. With the duo losing the championships on TNA’s AMC debut, their run with the promotion is now coming to an end. Lee and McKay did not agree to new long-term contracts after working a series of short-term deals. While they were open to staying with TNA, the decision was ultimately made to wrap things up after this week. Additionally, there is said to be outside interest in the team.

Lee and McKay, best known to WWE fans as Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, are also former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions following a lengthy run with WWE.
