- The Sandman is coming to Spring Break for his final match.
Joey Janela and Game Changer Wrestling announced that The Sandman will be at Janela’s Spring Break X on April 17 in Las Vegas to compete in his final match.
No opponent was announced. Sandman made a surprise appearance at Janela’s Spring Break IX, making a run in during Sabu’s final match against Janela.
Sandman has continued to stay active over the years, wrestling a match or two each year. He last wrestled at GHW Halloween in October 2025. He made his debut in 1989 and is a former ECW Champion.
- Early Career (1989-1992): He started his career in the Tri-State Wrestling Alliance (TWA) as “Mr. Sandman”.
- Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) (1992-1998, 1999-2001): He became famous for his persona and entrance, feuding with wrestlers like Raven and Tommy Dreamer.
- World Championship Wrestling (WCW) (1998-1999): Wrestling as “Hak”, he competed in the hardcore division.
- Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW) & Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) (2001-2004, 2010, 2019): After ECW, he wrestled in promotions like XPW and had multiple runs in TNA.
- World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) (2005-2007): Sandman joined WWE when it revived the ECW brand in 2006, participating in reunion shows and being part of the roster until his release.
- Independent Circuit (2007-present): He continues to make independent appearances.
