- Promo: Joe Hendry wants to take NXT to new heights. The Vanity Project interrupted to admit that they were the ones who attacked Hendry last week and did the same again here so Jackson Drake could pose with the title.
- Backstage: Sol Ruca and Zaria have even more tension over Zaria wanting it to be her time instead of Ruca winning everything.
- Keanu Carver was upset that Robert Stone has decided after the commercial break to give Jackson Drake a title shot for tonight.
- Blake Monroe vs Jaida Parker was a double count-out, ultimately ending with two botched moves from Parker, who then took out several members of the security team (who you might recognize from EVOLVE) while Monroe ran off into the crowd.
- Vignette: Tatum Paxley felt like she was suffocating when she was with Izzi Dame. When this feud is over with, she’ll walk out of it as the version of herself she was meant to be.
- Kale Dixon is mad at Uriah Connors for walking out on Chase U. Connors thinks Andre Chase held him back. Stacks, Arianna Grace, and Lexis King said that they’re just missing the final piece of the puzzle (Charlie Dempsey) and since Connors knows his dad Fit Finlay and Dempsey’s dad William Regal have history together, he plans to try to convince him.
- WWE Speed Tournament Round 1 Match: Eli Knight defeated Josh Briggs by pinfall. Jasper Troy wrecked both Knight and Elio LeFleur after the match.
- Robert Stone checked up on Lola Vice, who was in the medical room getting her hand checked out. Stone has a match lined up for Vice, but it depends on her getting cleared. Vice wants to fight Kelani Jordan no matter what. Stone was then told to go check up on something right now, and just as he left, Jordan attacked Vice and hurt her hand some more. The other incident was Keanu Carver having attacked some other people backstage.
- Promo: DarkState was out in the ring to address a lot of things. Dion Lennox is still going for singles gold. Cutler James gives Tony D’Angelo a warning to stay out of their way and talked trash about The Culling trying to go for the tag team titles. Niko Vance and Shawn Spears interrupted from the crow’s nest to say they plan first, and they’re hunting for the tag titles. The lights then went out and DarkState’s music played, only to reveal Bronco Nima and Lucien Price to say they’re not done going for the titles, either. Hank and Tank also came out to try to put their names in the hat and it’s time for everyone to fight, ending with Tony D taking out Lennox and James while Saquon Shugars and Osiris Griffin fought with OTM and The Belly Boys with The Culling watching from the distance.
- After the commercial break, Robert Stone booked a Triple Threat No. 1 contenders match for the tag team division with a shot on February 24th on the line. Shiloh Hill was in Stone’s office wearing a hockey mask and as he was about to talk to Stone, Ethan Page interrupted, so Stone decided to postpone talking to Hill. Page is tied for the most title defenses in a North American title reign and wants another, but doesn’t want a match against Myles Borne, so Hill is getting the title shot instead next week.
- NXT Championship Match: Joe Hendry (c) defeated Jackson Drake by pinfall. Ricky Saints then attacked Hendry after the match.
- DarkState was fired up backstage over what happened earlier. James plans on handling their D’Angelo problem next week.
- Swipe Right (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) of The Vanity Project defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger by pinfall.
- Kelly Kincaid interviewed Sean Legacy about being one of the people attacked by Keanu Carver and how Legacy failed to win the NXT title last week. Legacy wants to fight Carver, challenging him to a match for February 24th.
- The Vanity Project has been added to the tag title #1 contenders match for next week. Myles Borne is upset that Shiloh Hill is getting a title shot before he is. Stone suggests that maybe it’s time for Borne to “do something out of character” if he wants a title shot.
- ZaRuca (Sol Ruca & Zaria) defeated WrenQCC (Kendal Grey & Wren Sinclair) by pinfall with Sol Ruca pinning Grey after an interesting scenario where the referee called Zaria backing up into Ruca as a tag, essentially setting it up so Ruca sort of stole the pin from Zaria. Ruca will get her shot at Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship on February 24th
