It’s Sunday, and you know what that means…it’s time to go Double Or Nothing!

Commentary welcomes us to the show with an electric crowd here in Louis Armstrong Stadium, before heading to ringside for our opening contest. We’re reminded this is an I Quit New York Street Fight, and if Cage and Cope lose they can no longer wrestle as a tag team. With that, the challengers make their entrance with Cope coming out first to a big pop.

Fans sing along to his theme as Cope heads to the ring, and the singing continues well after his theme cuts out. All credit to the audio team and Cage as the fans are allowed to finish singing before Christian makes his entrance next, also getting a great pop from the crowd (but with no lyrics, the singing along is much less evident). Cage makes his way to the ring, the crowd cheering loud as he steps through the ropes. The world-renowned duo await the arrival of the champs, who get pretty loud boos as they make their entrance. With that, we get this match underway!

AEW World Tag Team Championship – I Quit Match: FTR (c) vs. Cage & Cope

All four men stare each other down before trading blows, with Cash and Cope leaving the ring as Dax goes after Cage inside the ring. Cage turns it around as he sends Harwood to the corner for some punches and then takes a bite out of Dax’s forehead! Outside, Cope sends Wheeler into the barricade as he looks for a weapon under the ring.

A bit of barbed wire gets pulled out, but Harwood grabs it as he wraps it around his arm…only for Christian to knock him back! He leaves the ring for another bit of wire, wrapping it around the ropes before sending Dax into it with a drop toe hold. He calls for the ref to check, but Cope is not having none of it as he hits a splash that drives Dax back into it.

Belts come into play now as the challengers start whipping FTR with the straps, setting Harwood up on the ropes before Wheeler manages to break it up. He sends Cage out of the ring before grabbing a chair, slamming it on Cage’s left arm…only to be knocked to the floor by Cope with a ladder!

Cope props the ladder against the barricade before landing a vertical suplex, sending Dax hard onto the ladder. Calls for “one more time” are ignored by Cope, but only so he can pull a table out from under the ring. He sets it up before grabbing Cash, but Stoke holds him off long enough for Dax to wallop him.

Cope goes after Harwood, sending him to the outside…but Wheeler blindsides him with a chair! He wraps it around the neck of Cope as Dax goes to the timekeeper area, grabbing a toolbox. He brings it to the ring, but gets stopped by Cage. Cage finds a pair of pliers among the tools, and goes after the nose of Harwood…but the champ refuses to quit!

Cage turns his attention to the arriving Wheeler, but this allows Dax to beat him down with a chair. FTR leave the ring to go after Cope, with Dax demanding the ref ask Cope if he quits. Cope says nothing, and Cash pulls off the top of the announce table as the champs set up for a spiked piledriver onto the desk! FTR go back after Cage when they see him on the outside, and they prop his arm up on the ring steps.

Wheeler grabs a cinder block, but misses hitting the arm of Cage. They end up putting his arm in through the block before Dax starts slamming the chair against it, trying to do extra damage to the arm of Cage. They demand the ref ask Cage…and Cage says: “I…I…I banged your mother.”

This gets a chant going from the crowd as FTR try to do more damage to Cage in the ring…but Christian fends them off! But not for long, as FTR go after his arms. They have a ref check again, and Cage says “…go f–k yourself” before taking out Wheeler with a Killswitch!

Stoke can be seen undoing the top rope which comes completely undone, but Cage knocks him away before wrapping the rope around the throat of Dax. Harwood refuses to quit, and Wheeler wraps barbed wire around Cage to no avail. Cash grabs a crescent wrench, shouting that “this big p—y is gonna quit”…but walks into a spear by Cope instead!

Cope grabs the nearby chair and lands shot after shot on the back of Harwood. The ref checks on Harwood, who ends up stalling for time. Wheeler offers to say it, but only gets to “I” before Stokely blindsides Cope with a shot to the head using a watch.

This turns out badly for Stoke as Beth makes her way out to a big pop, and she goes after Hathaway until Dax manages to intervene. Harwood grabs a bottle of lighter fluid from under the ring, coating the table with it as Stokely holds Beth up on the apron. Dax uses a lighter and sets the table aflame as Cash goes for a spear on Beth…who pulls Stokely into the line of fire, forcing Hathway and Wheeler to go through the flaming table instead!

Dax, meanwhile, sees his opportunity as he slides back into the ring and sets Cope’s head on a chair. He grabs another chair and tells Cope if he wants to see his two daughters tomorrow he’d better say “I Quit”…only for Beth to low blow him from behind! This allows Cage to do the same, and Cope hits a piledriver on Harwood. Cage locks in a Sharpshooter on Harwood, who refuses to quit.

Cope locks in a crossface, but Dax still won’t give up. Cope calls for Beth to grab something from near the ring, and she pulls out the spiked board (Spike) and gives it to Cope. Dax has finally had enough, and he shouts “I QUIT” to bring this match to an end!

Winners via submission and new AEW World Tag Team Champions: Cage & Cope

The new champs celebrate as we see Cage also get his watch back from Stokely in the process. Cope embraces his wife Beth as the former champs regroup with Hathaway on the ramp.

Video Package: The issues between Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada have come to a boiling point as they face off with the International Championship on the line tonight at Double Or Nothing!

We head to ringside, with a video from Takeshita bringing out the challenger to a big pop from the crowd as he makes his entrance. We hear from Renee Paquette about the significance of this match as Takeshita enters the ring, before Okada makes his way out to a nice pop of his own. The champ enters the ring, and we get this match underway!

AEW International Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita

Crowd is thrilled for this match, as the two men stare each other down before trading strikes. Okada with a side headlock, but Takeshita sends him to the ropes and blocks a shoulder tackle. Okada blocks one from the challenger, and they go back and forth before the champ goes for a Rainmaker lariat to no avail.

This ends with a faceoff as the crowd erupts in an AEW chant, followed by a “F–k Don Callis” chant as the two men trade shots once more. Pump kick by Takeshita as he hits the ropes, landing a clothesline on Okada to take the champ off his feet. Okada scrambles to the corner, only for Takeshita to intercept him. Okada turns this around, and lands a dropkick forcing the challenger to the floor outside.

He sends Takeshita into the barricade, the ring post, and the barricade again as Okada continues the attack. The ref is counting as Okada sends the challenger into the guardrail and finally brings the Alpha back into the ring at the count of six.

Okada slides into the ring as well, bringing Takeshita to his feet for a neckbreaker. He puts a boot on Konosuke’s chest for the cover, and the challenger kicks out. Champ with another neckbreaker and a cocky cover, forcing the Alpha to kick out and head to the ropes.

Takeshita is back up as the two trade strikes once more. Okada takes control, heading to the ropes…only to be cut off by Takeshita for not one but two exploders! Challenger now in control as he brings Okada to the corner, climbing up to the most dangerous rope…and his distraction with the crowd allows Okada to fight back for just a moment, but Takeshita ends up sending the champ to the outside.

He hits the ropes for speed and lands a tope onto Okada, bringing him back into the ring as he goes to the corner for a running knee. Okada blocks it, setting the challenger up for a seated neckbreaker. Scoop slam connects, and Okada goes up top for an elbow drop. Champ back up to his feet, looking to the crowd before telling them how he feels about them.

He directs the gesture toward Takeshita, bringing him to his feet for a Rainmaker lariat…but Takeshita counters out! He hits the ropes, but Okada goes for a tombstone piledriver. Challenger counters it into one of his own, followed by a wheelbarrow deadlift suplex sending Okada crashing into the mat. Takeshita charges at him, but Okada ducks and lands a discus lariat sending the challenger down hard.

The fight spills to the apron, where the two men trade strikes back and forth. Takeshita looks for a piledriver but Okada breaks free, landing a Rainmaker lariat that sends the Alpha crashing to the floor instead!

Okada leaves the ring, setting Takeshita up for a DDT to the floor. He goes for a tombstone piledriver on the challenger, but Don Callis intervenes telling Okada that he’s gonna break his neck. Okada relents and goes back in the ring, but this allows Konosuke to fight back…and he brings Okada back to the outside for a brainbuster to the floor! Callis is beside himself as he yells at the Alpha, who tells Don off before bringing Kazuchika back into the ring. Avalanche German suplex with a bridge connects, but Okada narrowly kicks out.

Okada fights back, dropping Takeshita to the mat with a tombstone piledrive and the cover…but only gets a two count. Both men slowly get back to their feet before trading strikes once again. Konosuke looks wobbly at one stage but fires himself up as the pair go at it again, with Takeshita eventually dodging a Rainmaker for the Blue Thunder Bomb.

Power Drive Knee gets countered into a modified Emerald Flowsion by Okada, and a nearfall leads to Takeshita fighting back…before being laid out with a Rainmaker lariat by the champ! Okada holds onto the wrist, bringing the Alpha back to his feet and to the ropes for a dropkick. He goes for another Rainmaker lariat, but the challenger counters with one of his own! He fires up as he lands a Power Drive Knee and goes for the cover…but the fighting spirit kicks in as Okada kicks out at one!

Takeshita fends him off one more time, firing back with shots before landing a Raging Fire for the win!

Winner via pinfall and new AEW International Champion: Konosuke Takeshita

Takeshita celebrates in the corner with the title as the rest of the Don Callis Family make their way to ringside. Okada makes it to his feet as the Family enters the ring, and Takeshita is looking for a handshake from the former champ. Instead, it looks like things may blow up within the Family when Kyle Fletcher’s music hits to a huge pop.

The Protostar makes his way out, suited up only to take his blazer off as he makes a beeline for the ring. He steps through the ropes, staring down Takeshita and then Okada…with the latter leaving the ring at the behest of Don Callis, the rest of his Family following suit.

This leaves us with Kyle and Konosuke in the ring, and the two end up hugging it out to a pop from the crowd. Takeshita’s music hits as Fletcher presents him with the title he’s just won…only to blindside the Alpha instead! Crowd boos, calling Fletcher “a–hole” as he looks upon Takeshita with a smirk. He brings the new champ to his feet, and we hear him tell Konosuke “you knew this was coming” before sending him to the canvas with a sheer drop brainbuster.

The Family slides back into the ring as Fletcher grabs the title. Okada starts to take it from Kyle’s hand, which leads to an awkward faceoff before the former champ offers to let Fletcher take out Takeshita with the belt as Mark and Archer hold the new champ up for it. With that, Fletcher’s music hits as he and the rest of the Family leave and head up the ramp.

Commentary hype up the Owen Hart Tournament, and we get a video package focused on the first of those matches as Mina Shirakawa takes on Athena up next!

Back at ringside, Mina Shirakawa makes her entrance first to a nice reaction from the crowd. Out next is Athena as we get a look at the Owen Hart Cup trophy before this match gets underway!

Women’s Owen Hart Tournament Quarterfinal: Mina Shirakawa vs. Athena

The ladies lock up before Athena forces Mina to the corner. Mina fights back, but a shimmy allows Athena to get back in control. This ends up bringing the action to the outside, where Athena sends Shirakawa into the ring steps…only for the ROH Women’s Champion to nearly collide with the steps herself on a knee strike attempt.

She ends back in control when she sends Mina into the LED barricade with a dropkick, cutting the graphics off of that as she brings Mina back into the ring. Mina turns it around, going after the leg of Athena until the latter breaks free. Athena gets sent to the corner, where Mina continues to go after the leg with a few stomps for good measure.

Mina plays to the crowd, and this allows Athena to turn things around with a fall away slam for a two count. She brings Mina to her feet and to the ropes, only to be taken down with a spinning kick by Shirakawa. Mina grabs the head of Athena for a tornado DDT, but is pulled away from the ropes the first time. She lands it on the second go, and Athena ends up rolling to the outside…where Mina catches her with a torneo that sends the champ to the floor! She brings Athena back into the ring, going up top for a missile dropkick before Athena heads to the ropes.

Mina grabs her from behind, hoisting her up before dropping Athena on her knee to the mat. She goes for a figure four leglock, but Athena counters out and lands a Super Dragon style curb stomp on Shirakawa instead!

Athena heads to the turnbuckle, but gets caught on an O Face attempt. Mina cradles for a two count, and hits the ropes for a DDT and a seatbelt cover for another nearfall. Athena makes it to her feet as she and Mina trade strikes, with Mina landing a Hurriken to lay out Athena.

Figure Four leglock in place as Athena struggles, eventually making it to the ropes for a break. Mina breaks the hold but also pulls Athena away from the ropes, but the champ counters out of Glamorous for a jumping tombstone piledriver! Mina is down as Athena climbs the turnbuckle, landing the O Face for the win to advance in the tournament!

Winner via pinfall: Athena

We get an updated bracket as Athena leaves the ring to celebrate with her title while standing next to the trophy.

Video Package: Jon Moxley looks to prove he’s not the same man he was six months ago when he defends the AEW Continental Championship against Kyle O’Reilly tonight at Double Or Nothing!

We see The Conglomeration standing backstage, wishing Kyle all the best as he makes his entrance for our next match. He enters the ring to a big pop as Jon Moxley makes his way out through the crowd, and we get some words from Renee about Kyle’s return leading up to this match as Mox heads to the ring to get this match underway!

AEW Continental Championship – No Time Limit: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly

Mox looks to square up with O’Reilly, but dodges a kick before they lockup. Exchange of holds ends with Kyle sent to the mat, but he’s back to his feet. Knuckle lock leads to a kick from O’Reilly that force Mox to retreat as we get dueling chants for both men. Mox in control with a wristlock, until Kyle counters for a snapmare and spinal tap.

This riles up Mox enough to respond in kind, sending the challenger to the mat with the same. Kyle back on his feet as both men go at it, with the champ being brought to the mat. Mox starts to fight back before he’s sent to the corner by Kyle, who follows up with a standing guillotine. Mox finds a way to break free, dropping O’Reilly to the canvas before landing some shots on the challenger. Kyle turns it around for a cross arm breaker, but Mox breaks free to escape the ring to the outside.

O’Reilly follows him, landing a few more shots before sending him face first into the ring steps for extra damage. Mox flips O’Reilly off, but Kyle responds with a few more kicks until Mox evades the last of them, which sends O’Reilly’s boot into the ring post! The ref has been lenient on his count up to this point, finally starting after Mox slides into the ring.

Mox leaves the ring to break this count, going after O’Reilly before bringing the challenger back into the ring. Kyle is struggling and falls to the mat when his leg gives way, and this gives Mox an opening as he goes after the injured leg. He brings O’Reilly back up just long enough for a dragon screw legwhip, mocking O’Reilly before sending him to the corner.

Ref starts a count before calling for a break, and Mox obliges just long enough to go back after the leg. He lands a running dropkick on the injured leg as the ref calls for him to bring O’Reilly out of the corner…and Mox does so by sending the challenger to the mat with another dragon screw!

He locks in a submission with a focus on the injured leg until Kyle gets to the ropes, but instead of breaking the hold he starts digging his fingers into the back of O’Reilly before taking a bite out of his head. With that, he finally breaks the hold…which gives Kyle an opening to turn things around, landing some kicks with his good leg before going for a standing guillotine.

He breaks the hold in favor of more kicks, but Mox gets an opening of his own as he brings Kyle to the corner, going after his head before the ref forces a break. Mox gets caught in an cross arm breaker by O’Reilly, trying his best to break free before finding a counter in a half crab on the injured leg. Kyle crawls toward the ropes before Mox starts tweaking the leg some more, only for the challenger to finally reach the ropes for a break.

Mox lands a kick, but gets caught in a cross arm breaker by Kyle, who rolls through to transition it into an ankle lock! Mox turns over to kick away at the challenger, but O’Reilly turns him back over to cinch the hold in tight. Kyle finally lets the hold go, but only so he can stomp the Achilles of the champ and land a kick that sends him to the outside.

Mox tries to fire himself back up before sliding back into the ring…where he gets caught with a stomp by O’Reilly! Mox finds himself able to turn it back around as he lands a cutter on Kyle, and both men slowly get back up to break a standing count by the ref. Kyle’s in the corner as Mox lands a boot, before Kyle gets sent to the ropes…where he fires back with a lariat, only for Mox to do the same as they double down!

Both men slowly make their way back up, trading strikes on the way. Mox gets sent to the ropes with a punch but he gets back to his feet, landing a right hand on the challenger before landing a lariat. Death Rider DDT connects, and Mox goes for a rear naked choke…only for Kyle to roll through, breaking free to cinch in the ankle lock!

Mox finds the injured leg to go for an ankle lock of his own, with Kyle going for a pin to force a break…but now it’s the champ who’s got an ankle lock cinched in! Grapevine applied as Kyle can’t find a way to the ropes for the break and no way to escape the hold…and he taps out!

Winner via submission and still AEW Continental Champion: Jon Moxley

Death Riders come out to ringside after the match, with the Conglomeration running down to even the numbers. However, Mox foregoes any hostility with a show of sportsmanship as he and O’Reilly shake hands. Mox hands the title to Shafir, who shows it off as Mox celebrates the win.

Video Package: Will Ospreay talks about being made into a “killing machine” as he trains with Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, and the question becomes whether he can use that to overcome Samoa Joe at Double Or Nothing to advance in the Owen Hart Tournament!

We head back to ringside as Will Ospreay makes his entrance for our next match. Samoa Joe makes his way to the ring next, but Ospreay blindsides him with an Oscutter to get this match underway!

Ospreay continues the attack until Joe starts to fight back, forcing Will to the outside. Ospreay comes back in, catching Joe by surprise some more before landing a 450 splash for a nearfall. Ospreay goes for a Death Ground, but Joe forces him to the outside before cinching in a Coquina Clutch. He doesn’t let go until he slams Ospreay against the barricade, and comes back into the ring as the ref begins the count.

Ospreay struggles to his feet, and makes it back into the ring at seven…only for Joe to send him into the corner, stomping away at Will’s head before connecting with a running boot. He goes to work on Ospreay’s back before Will fights to his feet, only to take a headbutt from Joe. The two men trade strikes until Ospreay gets dropped to the mat.

Joe goes for the neck of Ospreay now, driving his elbow into it before landing a chop on Ospreay. Another chop connects, but Ospreay fires back with some of his own before being sent to the canvas by Joe. Joe chops the back of Ospreay before laying him out with a kick. Senton by Joe but he lands on the knees of Ospreay. He sends Ospreay to the corner for some more strikes, setting him up on the turnbuckle for a muscle buster.

Ospreay fights him off, landing a double stomp on the arm of Joe. Leaping kick by Ospreay keeps Joe down, as the ref starts a count. Ospreay kips up as Joe gets to a knee, only to take some hard chops from Ospreay. Will hits the ropes for a big kick to the face on Joe for two.

He lands some more kicks when a double underhook doesn’t take, and hits the ropes for an Oscutter…but Joe says nope, dodging it before setting Will up for a powerbomb for a pin. That only gets a nearfall as Joe transitions to a modified Boston crab, and then he transitions to an STF.

Ospreay struggles, eventually getting a foot on the ropes for a break. Joe lands a kick to the chest of Ospreay, who sits up only to take another kick. He absorbs the third kick as he gets to his feet, but Joe lays in a flurry of strikes that ends in a rolling elbow sending Ospreay back down. Joe goes back after Ospreay, who counters into a Styles Clash! Cover by Ospreay gets a two, and a Hidden Blade after only gets him a nearfall as well.

He goes for one more Hidden Blade, but runs into a powerslam by Joe sending him into the canvas. “This is awesome” chant form the crowd as both men slowly get to their feet, and Ospreay goes for La Mistica before going for a Death Ground. Joe turns it around for a nearfall, before locking in a Coquina Clutch. Ospreay heads to the corner, turning it into a pin for a two count. Ospreay goes for a Hidden Blade but Joe dodges it, trapping Will with another Conquina Clutch!

Ospreay is close to the ropes but is fading. Ref checks the arm once, and twice…and on the third check, Will narrowly grabs the ropes to force a break. Joe brings him back up, setting up for a muscle buster before Ospreay breaks free for Hidden Blade…but that only gets a one count as Joe kicks out! Ospreay doesn’t let up, landing one more Hidden Blade for the victory as he advances in the tournament!

Winner via pinfall: Will Ospreay

Ospreay gets a moment to celebrate the win as Joe leaves the ring, offering a bow of respect before heading up the ramp.

Thekla uses her champion’s prerogative to make the first entrance for this match, heading to the ring before Jamie Hayter comes out next. This is followed by Kris Statlander, with Hikaru Shida rounding things out to get this match underway!

AEW Women’s World Championship – 4-Way Match: Thekla (c) vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander vs. Hikaru Shida

Each woman takes a corner to stand off in, before all three challengers drop Thekla with a boot. They focus on the Toxic Spider first and foremost, trading offense on the champ before Hayter and Stat go after each other. Shida lands a boot on the champ, sending her off the apron before going back in the ring to work with Stat on taking out Jamie…only for Hayter to level them both with a clothesline.

Thekla returns to the ring, attacking Hayter before Stat and Shida intervene. Thekla sends Kris to the ropes for a boot before Shida attacks her, sending the champ to the corner. She sends Jamie there as well before being sent into both women by Statlander for added damage. Shida and Thekla get sent out of the ring as Hayter and Kris trade offense.

Thekla slides back in to go after them, only for all three to be sent to the mat with a missile dropkick by Shida. This leads to an exchange of nearfalls by all four ladies. Hayter gets sent out of the ring, but Thekla intercepts a Statlander dive in the ropes before chaos ensues.

Three of the four ladies are going at it on the floor, with the champ landing a dive that sends them down hard. She focuses on Shida first, sending her into the barricade. Then, she sends Hayter into the ring steps. Statlander fights back, but is sent into the ring by the champ.

Thekla cinches in a modified Rings of Saturn on Stat, while pulling at her face at the same time…only for Kris to fight back by biting the fingers of the champ to break free! Statlander lands a shot on Jamie before taking a spear by Thekla, and all four women are down as the fans show their appreciation. The ladies slowly make their way up, attacking each other on the way to their feet.

Eventually, Stat and Hayter are standing and they take each other down with a lariat. Thekla gets an opening, but gets caught by Shida…before countering with a Falcon Arrow for a nearfall. Roundhouse kick keeps Shida down as she does a spider pose…only to get caught by Stat! Night Fever is stopped by Hayter, with Shida going after Jamie only to send Kris out of the ring. Hayter sends her away as well, but the champ traps her with an octopus hold…before Jamie breaks it with a backbreaker of sorts.

She lands a Hayterade on the champ for the cover, but Shida breaks it up…and lands a Falcon Arrow! She goes for a cover before turning it into a submission hold…but Stat comes into the ring, breaking it up to go after Shida for attacking her earlier. Shida tries to beg her off before landing a hard slap, and they trade offense before Shida gets sent out of the ring.

Stat turns her attention to Thekla, the two fighting it out before Stat lands Sunday Night Fever for the cover…but Shida breaks it up with a kendo stick to the back! Thekla sends Shida to the outside before landing a stomp on Statlander to pick up the win.

Winner via pinfall and still AEW Women’s World Champion: Thekla

Thekla celebrates the win with the championship as we thank the band Terror for “Still Suffer,” the theme for Double Or Nothing.

We cut to a vignette showing the arrival of the Don Callis Family, The Dogs, and The Demand to the stadium for our next match. They all look eager to get things going as we head back to ringside to welcome the team out for Stadium Stampede. As the squad enters the ring, we cut to a vignette introducing their opponents using “Devil’s Dance” by Metallic. We head back to ringside once more as Jericho’s “Judas” brings the squad out to a big pop, the crowd singing along as they head to the ring. “We hurt people” chant rings out as we get this year’s Stadium Stampede underway!

Stadium Stampede: Jericho, The Hurt Syndicate, and The Elite vs. The Demand, The Don Callis Family’s Mark Davis & Andrade El Idolo, and The Dogs

It is already chaos as we get a four-angle shot of around the ring, before the good guys get together in the ring to target Ricochet. They take turns landing shots on Ricochet, before Bobby Lashley basically chokeslams him to the outside where the rest of the baddies are able to save their friend from total harm. Bucks set up for a dive but get cut off by The Dogs.

Lashley goes after them, only to deal with Davis as back in the ring, GOA go after Benjamin. He gets sent to the outside, where he is met by Mark Davis or more damage as Toa ends up going after Jack Perry. Bucks go for the save but to no avail. Ricochet stops Omega at the apron before leaping off for a shooting star press onto the lot on the outside. He returns to the ring to pose with GOA as the crowd boos them.

Kaun goes after Omega but gets sent to the outside, and Ricochet follows suit…only for Toa Liona to cinch in an abdominal stretch. He gets the arm of Ricochet for leverage, and this ends in a chain as the baddies get extra leverage…until MVP hops onto the apron to hit Ricochet’s arm with his cane, sending the rest of them falling back to the ramp and breaking the hold. This ends with the Bucks getting a double dive…followed by Shelton landing a dive of his own!

He fends GOA off as back in the ring, The Elite and Jericho get some shots in on the baddies in the corner. Perry sends Davis to the outside with a rana and the rest follow suit. Jericho, Omega, and the Bucks pose before The Demand blindside them.

Jericho and the Bucks turn it around with Walls all around, as Perry levels Davis with a vacuum full of powder. Nick sets up a table as he goes after Finlay, and Matt joins him as they climb up the turnbuckle. Connors pulls Finlay off the table as they escape through the crowd, and we cut to somewhere backstage as GOA and the Hurt Syndicate go at it in a hallway. Benjamin drives off Kaun while Lashley looks for a Hurt Lock on Liona.

Toa fights him off and we see Lio Rush nearby, harkening back to days gone by as Bobby backs away from the man now known as Blackheart. Liona gives out to Rush, who bites his hand in response before getting the jump on him. Liona takes a boot from Lashley as we head back to the ring.

Omega and Jericoh go after Andrade as we cut elsewhere, seeing the Bucks and Connors go at it. We get a two-angle shot as Andrade fights back, while Clark gets sent into the escalator with a double superkick. Andrade starts to take a picture with a fan in the crowd, but she steps aside allowing Luchasaurus to get a selfie instead.

This gets Andrade riled up, and he ends up taking mist to the face by Luchasaurus as Ricochet brings Jericho back toward the ring. Jericho fights back, and Ricochet heads to the corner as Jericho pulls out a bag from under the ring. He opens the bag up, revealing a whole lotta balls…tennis balls, that is, seeing as we’re in a world-renowned tennis stadium here in Queens.

Ricochet tries to fight back but takes a suplex into some of the tennis balls. Jericho goes for the Walls but gets caught with a Death Valley Driver onto the balls instead, as we cut to catering where Davis fends off Perry before dealing with someone in the area (I forgot his name, but I just saw him on TikTok today getting a ride to the stadium thanks to Jurassic Express).

Andrade and Kenny show up to go at it, but El Idolo gets sent into Satnam Singh! He gets angry and shouts “food fight” as, well, a food fight breaks out in catering. Kenny and Andrade end up leaving as we head back to ringside. The Dogs have brought the Bucks back here, but the fight heads up the ramp when the Bucks fight back with trashcan shots and all.

They set up Connors in a shopping cart, putting the trashcan over his head before Matt sends him down the ramp into a superkick by Nick. They celebrate until Toa comes down to attack the Bucks. He sends Matt away before putting Nick in a shopping cart, allowing Kaun to land a dropkick sending him down to the floor.

Matt takes the cart to the back by Liona after, as Shelton comes down for the save only to take a shillelagh shot by Finlay. Lashley comes running out now, but takes a shillelagh shot by Finlay as well before Connors catches Bobby with a spear!

We cut to another part of the stadium as Ricochet goes after Jericho with a tennis racket. Jericho fights back to send Ricochet to the floor, opening the door to reveal Luther…who gives him a comically large racket. Jericho makes easy work of Ricochet with this, setting him up for a flurry of balls from an automatic serve machine. He goes for a pinfall and gets two, as another ball narrowly misses him before we go back to ringside.

Back in the ring, The Dogs go after Matt Jackson and Shelton Benjamin before they turn it around for a series of suplexes. Double Northern Lights, and they’re well in control as they slam a trashcan against the head of David Finlay. Superkick party ensues from the Bucks, with Toa not going down until Shelton joins them for a triple superkick followed by a Lashley spear. We cut to outside the stadium, where Mark Davis seems to be retreating to a golf cart. He notices a note on the seat attached with a knife, and he reads it: “Wait here, a–hole!”

He may or may not have dodged what comes next, as the Jurassic Express bus comes speeding up the ramp and crashes into the golf cart (and the car right next to it)! Perry leaves the bus, surveying the damage as we head back to ringside.

Young Bucks get caught on an attempt to do a double moonsault, before El Idolo gets caught with a snap dragon suplex by Omega. Kenny follows up with a V-Trigger as Lashley looks for a German suplex off the apron on Toa Liona…eventually sending him through the table!

Lashley gets back up, going after Davis before hitting an exploder and sending Mark through the barricade. Perry is back at ringside and takes lands some shots of his own as the Bucks send The Dogs through two tables. Omega with a One-Winged Angel sends Andrade through the table as Ricochet gets caught by the group.

BTE Trigger by the Bucks, but Kaun shoves him out of the line of fire of a Judas Effect. This ends with the whole squad landing a superkick on Bishop, and Jericho hits the Lionsault to pick up the win!

Winners via pinfall: Jericho, The Hurt Syndicate, and The Elite

The good guys celebrate their win, with Jericho paying tribute to the late Sabu by pointing to the sky and…stepping onto the ring steps before hitting a splash onto nobody through a table. He gets back on his feet, heading up the ramp with the rest of the squad before we cut to a video package highlighting the feud between MJF and Darby Allin leading to tonight’s main event at Double Or Nothing. New champion Darby finally gives MJF his rematch for the AEW World Championship, but with a twist…MJF puts his HAIR on the line!

Back at ringside, MJF makes his entrance, staring down the clippers and barber’s chair as he heads to the ring. We cut to a vignette of someone trying to rush to the stadium in time for the main event, only to see Darby making his way via the underground tunnels.

With that, we head back to ringside for the arrival of the champion as Darby makes his entrance. He enters the ring before we get introductions for both men, and a reminder that if MJF loses tonight he will be shaved bald. This gets a big pop from the crowd, and that riles up MJF as the challenger relays a message to Justin Roberts. MJF’s intro now states he “doesn’t come from any of the five bulls–t boroughs, but from a mansion that none of you can afford.” The intro for Darby notes that he climbed Mount Everest…and he is “bats–t crazy.” This gets a big pop as well, and we finally get this main event underway!

AEW World Championship – Title vs Hair: Darby Allin (c) vs. MJF

Darby catches the challenger with a side headlock takeover for two, and gets a second one for a nearfall. This early advantage goes away as MJF turns it back around on the champ, sending him into the barricade on a dive attempt before landing a powerbomb on the apron. He then hits Darby with a Heatseeker back in the ring for a two count of his own.

He follows up with a powerbomb into a backbreaker, but this only gets a nearfall. Darby starts to fight back now, cutting him off in the corner as he goes for a sleeper hold on the turnbuckle…only for MJF to send him crashing into the canvas. Darby is back up as is MJF, and they trade strikes until the challenger is dropped down hard.

Darby goes for a Coffin Drop, but MJF rolls to the outside for safety…only for the champ to land a dive through the ropes sending him to the announce desk! Darby steps onto the table before dropping down, bringing MJF toward the ring to set him up on the apron. Some clubbing blows from the champ now, and he goes up top for a guillotine Coffin Drop…only for MJF to evade at the last second, causing the champ to collide with the hardest part of the ring before falling to the floor!

MJF pulls the ring steps away, setting Darby up against the apron for the maximum platform possible before setting the champ up for a package piledriver onto the side. Darby falls to the floor, and the ref cehcks on him as MJF is laying on the floor trying to recover as well.

He finally gets to his feet, bringing Darby back into the ring. He calls for a side headlock takeover, only for Darby to send him to the ropes. With the ref distracted, Darby lands a low blow as revenge for what MJF did to Mick Foley during the Buy In, but a side headlock takeover of his own only gets a two count. He sends the champ to the corner, with MJF trying to fight back before Darby sets him up for a Scorpion Deathlock!

MJF struggles for a bit, managing to get to the ropes. Darby breaks the hold to go up top, but a Coffin Drop lands the champ onto the knees of MJF. Both men are down with the challenger getting to his feet first, and Darby gets sent to the ropes…only to catch MJF with a Scorpion Death Drop driving the challenger into the canvas! Darby crawls to the ropes to get himself back up, and he climbs the turnbuckle before dropping down.

MJF catches him with a side headlock takeover and this leads to an exchange of nearfalls. Darby with a sunset flip for two, and we go back and forth for nearfalls.

Roll through by Allin for a two, MJF counters with a backslide for one, and Darby ends up connecting with a Code Red for the most definitive of nearfalls as both men finally break free of each other’s grip in the process.

They’re slow to get back up but manage to, only for MJF to be sent to the outside by the champ. Darby goes for a dive through the ropes, only for MJF to pull a camera operator into the line of fire! Ref checks on the cameraman (Mark, apparently) as medics come down to aid him, and the ref finally begins the count before MJF decides to go back after the champ.

He hoists Darby up, bringing him to the barber chair on the stage. He grabs the clippers, the ref telling him to bring Darby back into the ring…and this gives the champ an opening, as he cinches in a front guillotine on MJF! He finally lets go when MJF seems knocked out, and puts the challenger onto the barber’s table before glancing at the scaffolding on the stage.

This gives the champ a crazy, possibly awful idea as he wears MJF down before climbing up the scaffolding. He gets to the top, lining up his trajectory with a “Bang Bang” out of respect for Cactus Jack before leaping off for a Coffin Drop that sends MJF through the table!

Darby is bleeding, seemingly cut by something on the way down as he drags MJF down the ramp and into the ring. Darby falls backward for a moment but recovers, climbing up top for a Coffin Drop…but MJF kicks out at two to save his hair! He is struggling to get back up however, and this allows Darby to cinch in a Scorpion Deathlock…before he drops to the mat, breaking the hold from what seems to be passing out.

MJF starts to get back in control, before taking a Scorpion Death Drop by the champ. Darby goes up top for a Coffin Drop, but gets intercepted on the turnbuckle by the challenger…who counters into an avalanche tombstone piledriver! He follows up with a side headlock takeover, sticking it to his rival to pick up the win and regain the world title.

Winner via pinfall and new AEW World Champion: MJF

MJF is presented with the title, celebrating in the corner as medics tend to Darby. They get him on a stretcher, but MJF won’t let him get away before standing over him with the title held high. Kevin Knight comes running down to fend him off, forcing the new champion to retreat to the outside.

Kevin Knight goes up top to give out to MJF…before leaping off for a UFO Splash onto Darby, sending him crashing to the floor while still attached to the stretcher! The crowd are stunned, first into silence and then into boos as Kevin stares Darby down. MJF is also shocked for a moment before applauding Knight’s apparent change in attitude, with medics helping Darby back onto the stretcher as Double Or Nothing comes to a close.
