- Promo: Kendal Grey opened the show to talk about how she’ll always be nervous cutting promos and being glammed up, so she might not present herself as a champion, but she’ll prove herself when she steps in the ring. Wren Sinclair interrupted to celebrate with her with some cake. Kelani Jordan came out to try to whine about getting opportunities and was then attacked by Tatum Paxley.
- Keanu Carver attacked El Hijo del Vikingo backstage.
- Izzi Dame was complaining backstage about how if a few things had gone differently, she’d be a champion. Zaria came over to say she sounds desperate. They were interrupted by Lizzy Rain rocking out and making a lot of noise.
- Also backstage, Kelani Jordan yelled to Robert Stone about being jumped by Paxley. He decided to book them in the main event.
- ALSO backstage (good lord), Stone told Keanu Carver that he’s going to face EK Prosper tonight and I guess the Latin American Championship match is called off.
- NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) (c) defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno by pinfall.
- Backstage: BirthRight’s Uriah Connors, Stacks, and Arianna Grace as well as OTM were both vying for shots at Vanity Project for not defending their titles too often. Sean Legacy rolled up to say he and his partner also want a title shot, but Dorian Van Dux for some reason wasn’t with him. Cutler James and Osiris Griffin ALSO want a tag team title opportunity. As do Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno. Stone agrees that the titles should be defended more frequently, so he booked a Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contenders’ match for next week between those first four groups, telling Dar and Moreno to build up some more wins and they’ll get in title contention after that.
- Jackson Drake defeated Mason Rook by pinfall with some help from all 3 other VP members interfering. During the match, Kam Hendrix interrupted by calling Booker T’s phone, introducing the “Kam Cam” that came up on the TitanTron and all as well. (“Since when is your phone synced up with the production truck?” – Vic Joseph).
- Tate Wilder got EK Prosper fired up about fighting Keanu Carver and beating him again like he did the last time.
- EK Prosper defeated Keanu Carver by pinfall due in part to interference from Tank Ledger throwing Carver through the security barricade to get some revenge for Carver putting Hank Walker through a table at NXT Great American Bash.
- Backstage, Kendal Grey was talking about Kali Armstrong, saying if she wants a title shot, Robert Stone should book it. Stone said Kali hasn’t earned it yet, and mentions that he’s booked another Fatal 4-Way for next week with Izzi Dame, Lizzy Rain, Thea Hail, and Layla Diggs fighting for the next NXT Women’s North American Championship title shot. Nattie, Diggs, Karmen Petrovic, and Nikkita Lyons interrupted to talk about how she’s underappreciated and she’s earned a title match. Grey said Nattie or Kali, it makes no difference to her, so Stone books Nattie for a title match for next week.
- Jaida Parker defeated Karmen Petrovic by pinfall. Nattie and Nikkita Lyons interfered during the match to go after Parker, but Layla Diggs didn’t partake.
- Shiloh Hill and Tatum Paxley spoke backstage about they know when it’s time to tap into their darker sides instead of just having fun. Niko Vance decided to come over to Hill to say that they made the right decision when they kicked Paxley out of The Culling, as it makes it easier to pick people off one-by-one. Hill said not to talk about Paxley like that, and Vance joked “nice smile” about Hill’s missing tooth.
- In the locker room, Sean Legacy asked Dorian Van Dux where he was earlier, informing him of the Fatal 4-Way for next week.
- At the commissary area (because they’ve run out of their 20 backstage locations already), Wren Sinclair was talking to Myles Borne about how they ate all the cake. Tavion Heights came over, Sinclair took her exit, and Heights talked about how whatever happens between teams, you just move past it. Borne said “That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you this whole time” and then left him, so Heights said “I deserved that.”
- Tony D’Angelo cut a promo about how his eye will make a recovery and he proved at Great American Bash what he’ll go through to keep the title, so whoever is next is going to have to obviously top even that attack from Naraku. As he was leaving, Naraku attacked him again, this time with a steel chair and spitting mist in his face.
- Kelani Jordan defeated Tatum Paxley by pinfall. After the match, Paxley was attacked by “we know who that is” and “her” arrival (Vic Joseph not being allowed to say her name yet and doing the usual thing where they avoid it because of some trademark that hasn’t cleared or something). This woman is Nikki Blackheart, who may go by “Martinez” in WWE, but since they didn’t say anything, that’s up in the air.
