The Daily Mail is featuring an article about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson being the early favorite to win the 2019 WWE Royal Rumble and move on to challenge whoever is champion in the main event of WrestleMania 35.
Rock, 46, is being touted as a 2/1 favorite with Sky Bet to win the Rumble match. His last match took place at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, with a quick six second win over Erick Rowan of the then-Wyatt Family inside AT&T Stadium.
Rock told WWE back in July that he couldn’t wait to get back inside a WWE ring while promoting his new film “Skyscrapper.” WWE star Seth Rollins told Sports Illustrated recently that while he’s a fan, WWE didn’t need Rock at WrestleMania next year.
