Three challengers lined up for D’Angelo.
The NXT Champion, Tony D’Angelo, was standing in the ring on the April 28th WWE NXT, when he was confronted by former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL. A box with symbols on it was delivered to D’Angelo on the 4/21 show, and it was revealed that EVIL was who sent him the warning.
EVIL and D’Angelo did not get physical, but as D’Angelo was watching EVIL exit the ring, Tavion Heights showed up and attacked the NXT Champion.
After Heights was done with D’Angelo, Will Kroos showed up and attacked D’Angelo. The 29-year-old Kroos has been wrestling since 2017.
Kroos is a former PROGRESS Atlas Champion, and at the start of 2026, he defended that title at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s ‘NOAH The New Year 2026’ event.
On April 12th, Kroos competed for the RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship.
