FNW Heavyweight Title Battle Royal
A huge 20-man over the top rope invitational battle royal! The winner becomes the new FNW Heavyweight Champion!
FNW Management has received many phone calls and fan mail regarding the state of the FNW Heavyweight Championship. On April 20th Brodie Lee challenged Matt Morgan for the belt, in a match featuring many high impact moves and near falls. After Morgan unintentionally hit referee Harold Potter, Morgan hit his patented F-5 on Lee and replacement referee Jimmy James counted the 1, 2, 3. After the Potter came to his senses, he disqualified Morgan for striking him. Due to the fact that there was no clear winner of the match, FNW management decided to vacate the title. So, for you the fans, FNW has decided to hold a 20 man over the top rope invitational battle royal to decide the new FNW Champion. Although none of the names will be released as of right now, we can promise this will be an event you will not want to miss. Be sure to check back soon for further developments.

The Irish Airborne have told FNW officials that they want to take on the absolute best tag team that the Pittsburgh region has to offer. A few days after announcing the Irish Airborne’s challenge on FNWwrestling.net, FNW Officials received this e-mail from the office of Gentleman Joe Perry: “So Irish Airborne think they can just come in to Gentleman’s Club territory and make challenges? Well Jake, Dave, let me tell you something. We are the best tag team in Pittsburgh Today, Period, and we will be happy to accept your challenge. All i can tell you prepare for a crash landing, because when we’re done with you, you will be Airborne no more!”

FNW Pittsburgh officials just confirmed Pepper Parks’ opponent for FNW Pittsburgh’s huge return to the Days Inn. That man will be none other than Independent sensation, “M-Dogg20” Matt Cross. Cross has been making a name for himself worldwide by appearing for such companies as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, UWA Hardcore, and Ring of Honor, and with his innovative aerial offense he promises to deliver the kind of exciting action FNW Pittsburgh fans love. Parks on the other hand claims to be “The Patrick Swayze of Professional Wrestling” and has also been a fixture on the independent scene for some time, and has guaranteed to make a statement in FNW Pittsburgh rings. Both wrestlers intend on making a name for themselves in FNW Pittsburgh and the only way to see who comes out victorious is to Come to the days in on November 2nd 2007!!!!

Brodie Lee returns to FNW on November 2nd. The big bully from NWA Upstate has set his sights on destroying the best that FNW has to offer. He started with Pittsburgh legend Lord Zoltan, and then attempted to take out then-FNW Heavyweight Champion Matt Morgan. Now, he looks to one of the brightest talents in FNW, the up and coming star Sebastian. Sebas doesn’t back down from anybody, as seen with his many battles in FNW, and even in his SmackDown appearance against Kurt Angle. Sebas will bring the fight to Brodie Lee… but will the big bully run through Sebas like he has done to the rest of the competition?

Just in, FNW officials have signed Star 100.7 radio personality, Bubba the Bulldog to take on Super Oprah! Bubba, a longtime Pittsburgh wrestling veteran, has been one of the top stars on the Pittsburgh scene, and will be making his first appearance for FNW.
