MASADA Injured!
During the WSU event, MASADA suffered a significant knee injury that will require surgery. This left him unable to compete at ‘Proving Grounds’. He will still represent CZW in Mexico this weekend, along with Christina von Eerie at Lucha POP! However, he will have surgery upon his return. CZW officials are monitoring the situation closely.

Results from CZW:
* In a ‘Best of the Best’ Rewind: Shane Hollister beat Andrew Everett & Caleb Konley
* Nevaeh pinned Jessicka Havok
* CZW World Tag champions BLK OUT (Ruckus & BLK Jeez w/ Robbie Moreno) retained over The Beaver Boys (Alex Reynolds & John Silver)
* Matt Tremont vs. Joe Gacy went a no contest after Gacy used a dog collar & chain to tie Tremont to the corner, with the ref controversially stopping the match after Tremont was unable to stop the merciless beating he received.
* Greg Excellent pinned Tracey Smothers, even after interference from Pepper Parks and Cherry Bomb
* The Return of the Naptown Dragons, as Scotty Vortekz joined Drake Younger to defeat The Nation of Intoxication’s Danny Havoc & Lucky tHURTeen
* During intermission, Pepper Parks made fun of the out-of-shape fans. Afterwards, Ohio Is 4 Killer’s Jake Crist, who was due to take on CZW World Heavyweight champion MASADA, who was unable to compete due to injury, challenged Pepper Parks. Parks walked out of the match, causing Crist to win by count-out.
* Drew Gulak, with The Campaign for a Better Combat Zone, addressed CZW fans across the world to build loyalty and trust…in a move that seemed to work, but left some questioning his intentions.
* ‘Best of the Best’ winner Alex Colon came to the ring with the rest of 4Loco to express his hatred of AR Fox. Fox responded to Colon, but didn’t come to the ring along. Along with Shane Strickland & Tommy Dreamer, CZW Wired champion AR Fox beat 4Loco’s Alex Colon, Azrieal, & Bandido, Jr w/ Chrissy Rivera.
* Sami Callihan beat CZW owner DJ Hyde. Though Hyde promised to reveal Callihan‘s secret, he was in no shape to do so. Callihan did get on the mic & say simply, “I’m sorry…I love you”…and left the Combat Zone for what may be the last time.
