Hello everyone and welcome to your Indy Wrestle Line Independent report I am the Weekend Warrior Randy Klemme.
We have alot of ground to cover today with news, information and results from the midwest independent wrestling scene so let’s get right into…
Hopefully everyone has had a chance to listen to the message left by Adam Simmons over on option 1 of the Indy Wrestle Line. Adam has decided to take a break from the Hotline and Message Board due to all of the stress brought by keeping it all going and all of the drama and crap happening currently on the message board. I do not blame Adam one bit for walking away for a short time and hopefully it will be only for a short time. It takes alot of time, energy and money to do what he has done for the Indianapolis area independent wrestling scene and there are many that don’t appreciate what he has done. I know babysitting is not apart of the job description for what he has taken on, however in recent weeks that is what he has been doing. Let’s hope the break for Adam is a short one…
I failed to mention my congratulations to some area wrestlers who appeared in this years Pro Wrestling Illustrated Top 500 Wrestlers for 2007….Number 322 was Drake Younger…345 was Dave Crist…Jake Crist was 349….Billy Maverick came in at 412….Number 417 was Billy Roc…Shawn Cook was number 446…Eric Draven was 459 and Corporal Robinson was number 487. Again congratulations to all of these fine wrestlers…
Speaking of Shawn Cook, I heard something about Shawn this week and I sent him a message and it was true. If you went to the Smackdown taping last Tuesday in Indianapolis he was one of the Druids in the Undertaker/Mark Henry match. He told me Jason Harding, Steve Boz, Silas Young, Trevor Blanchard and a few OVW guys were the other druids. I am sure they needed as many as they could to haul Mark Henry’s carcas out of there…
A quick reminder, don’t forget next weekend there are alot of great shows around Indiana…..Dream Reunion happens in Kokomo, Indiana next Saturday with several activities leading to a big show. Scheduled to appear at this years Dream Reunion Jerry “The King” Lawler, Jimmy Hart, Baby Doll, Marty Janetty, The Nasty Boys, Scott Norton and just added this week Chavo Guerrero Sr, Greg Valentine and Jim Neidhart. For full details go to wcwarulz.com…
Also next Saturday HPW is back in action at the HPW Arena on the Bartholemew County Fairgrounds in Columbus, Indiana…Diceman Ronnie Vegas, Pastor Pain, Tom and Troy Van Zant, Metal Master and many others are on that card in Columbus, Indiana next Saturday. Go to hoosierprowrestling.bravehost.com for more information…
Insanity Pro Wrestling is at the Fountain Square Salvation Army at 1337 S Shelby Street in Indianapolis next Saturday. Faith n Nothing, Irish Airborne, Calton Kaz, Jon Moxley and Billy Roc are all on that card next Saturday. For the full card visit insanityprowrestling.com…

In other notes, we had a caller wanting to know some information about Ricky Banderas who was diagnosed with sciatica after making a big debut in TNA as Judas Mesias. Ricky is Puerto Rican and still lives there in Bayamon. He was known as Cibernetico in Triple A in Mexico. It just so happens if you turned on Saturday’s edition of Lucha Libre on Galavision you caught Banderas in a tag match. I am not sure when that match was taped.
Former Insanity Pro Wrestling Champion E.Z.Cruz continues to talk about an in-ring return in Indianapolis in the near future. He says he is still not sure what group or groups he will be working with…Cruz says he is in the process of getting a training center ready and also some plans are coming together for a couple of events in 2008.
NWA National Champion Chane Prophet continues to recover from surgery on a broken leg suffered recently. Doctor bills are now well over $10,000 and Chance has put alot of wrestling items on ebay to sell to raise money for the doctor bills.
The toxicology reports are in on Bryan Adams. Adams, who worked under several names including Crush as a part of Demolition, died recently of an accidental drug overdose. He reportedly had several drugs in his system at the time of death but the report said there were no steroids in his system. I am sure Nancy Grace will have some new ammo for next week
Birthday shoutouts this week go to Marty Graw who celebrates a birthday today in Louisiana….and Danny Basham celebrates on Wednesday this week…
