According to fightfulselect. Joe Hendry has signed with WWE NXT.
A major roster move between TNA Wrestling and WWE now appears to be complete.
According to a report from Fightful Select, former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry is effectively done with the company in any official capacity. Hendry has been absent from TNA programming for several weeks, even as he continued to appear regularly on WWE NXT during that same stretch.
Multiple WWE and TNA sources confirm that Hendry is now officially a full-time WWE Superstar moving forward.
Despite living close to the site of TNA’s events this weekend, Hendry is not listed internally for any appearances. His absence from October’s Bound For Glory 2025 pay-per-view event, where he was neither booked nor present backstage, reportedly surprised several people within the company.
WWE sources say Hendry has been on their radar “for quite some time.” Shawn Michaels was specifically cited as a major advocate for signing him and even urged the company to explore a potential buyout of Hendry’s TNA contract.
Although Hendry still had several months left on that deal, his team worked through proper channels to secure an amicable release and facilitate his transition to WWE.
