  3. M.V.D. – Week Of 12/23/12

MVD

M.V.D. – Most Valuable Diva” is a weekly column where a WWE Diva or TNA Knockout is named the Most Valuable Diva of the Week based on their overall performance. The divas/knockouts that compete in matches and/or take part in segments automatically get nominated for Most Valuable Diva.

This week’s nominees for M.V.D. are:

AJ: AJ spent some time having a private Christmas celebration with Dolph Ziggler during RAW. The celebration consisted of watching John Cena get screwed at TLC, reading a book about AJ’s love life, and kissing under the mistletoe. On Smackdown, a distraction from AJ helped Dolph Ziggler win his match against The Miz. After the match, The Miz insults AJ by telling her that New Year’s Eve for her will end in a bang, causing Dolph and Big E Langston to attack him.

Kaitlyn: Kaitlyn participated in an 8-diva Santa’s Helper match on RAW. Eve may have gotten the best of Kaitlyn on Smackdown during their title match, but Kaitlyn was able to get the best of Eve when she pinned the champion to win the match for her team.

Eve: The Divas Champion fought like a champion during the Santa’s Helper match, but in the end, her current rival Kaitlyn got the best of her and pinned the champion, making Eve’s team lose.

Layla: Layla may not be featured in the title picture anymore, but that doesn’t mean she’s lost a step. Layla put on a great performance during the 8-diva Santa’s Helper match on RAW, and she was on the winning team.

Tamina: It’s a shame that WWE stopped the AJ vs. Tamina feud. Hey, at least we got to see the 3rd generation diva in action on RAW during the Santa’s Helper match. She put on a great performance and looked dominant, however, her choice of attire was not so great, and her team lost the match..

Natalya: She may be playing the love interest of The Great Khali, but the Anvilette hasn’t lost a step in the ring. Natalya looked strong in the match, and we even got to see a nicely locked in Sharpshooter, and her and Alicia pulled off a nice double team move to Aksana.. If only she could be next in line for the Divas Championship…

Alicia Fox: The Foxy Diva put on a great performance during the Santa’s Helper match. It was nice to see her nail a vicious Axe Kick to Tamina, and her and Natalya pulled off a great double team move to Aksana..

Aksana: Aksana did what she’s best at: being sexy. Too bad it wasn’t enough for her and her team to win the match.

Rosa Mendes: Rosa Mendes was on the losing team during the Santa’s Helper match on RAW. Her week got worse when she received a double suplex and a double split leg drop from The Funkadactyls on Smackdown after she got in Brodus’ face.

Naomi: Naomi took offense to Rosa bad-mouthing Brodus on Smackdown. So her and Cameron decide to take Rosa down with a double suplex and split leg drop. Now that’s funky!

Cameron: Just like Naomi, Cameron took offense to Rosa bad-mouthing Brodus on Smackdown. So her and Naomi decide to take Rosa down with a double suplex and split leg drop. Now that’s funky!

Gail Kim: On Open Fight Night, Gail Kim called out the woman that took the Knockout’s Title away from her: Brooke Tessmacher. The veteran Gail Kim ultimately won the match after an Eat Defeat. She may not be ending the year as champion, but she’s ending the year with a win.

Brooke Tessmacher: On Open Fight Night, Brooke Tessmacher was called out by her former rival, Gail Kim. Brooke lost the match, but the former KO champion put on a great match and gave alot of hear and effort.

Tara: Tara accompanied Jesse during a Bro-Off against Robbie E.

This week’s MVD is…

Gail Kim!

Gail Kim ended this year with a win under her belt. The former KO champion looked dominant during the match, and showed Brooke Tessmacher and everyone why she’s the #1 Knockout in the division.

Come back next week to see who will be M.V.D. of the week. Thanks for reading!
