The group discussed last Thursday’s edition of “TNA iMPACT” that helped set up Sunday’s mixed bag “Turning Point” PPV, the new TNA World championship belt that will be revealed on this Thursday’s program, a Jeff Hardy incident at Monday’s TV taping and the promotion’s recent visit to the Family Feud game show.
Vito DeNucci joined the program for recaps of WWE’s US based “Friday Night Smackdown” and “Monday Night RAW” which was taped in England, the horrendous state of the promotion’s tag team division, when is the anonymous GM going to be revealed, William Regal’s announcement of retirement, WrestleMania XXVII tickets going on sale this weekend and what can we expect on the “Old School” Raw this coming Monday.
The featured interview guest was wrestling historian and former New England Championship Wrestling founder/co-owner/promoter SHELDON GOLDBERG who outlined the promotion’s history and what led to its untimely demise. Mr. Goldberg also fielded questions on the state of tag team wrestling and if some of the Hall of Fame legends could work in today’s monthly PPV environment.
