WCA to debut with action-packed event with caring cause.
Wrestling Cares Association of Los Angeles is set to debut the first event in the year-long Race for the Ring Tournament.
32 top independent wrestling stars will compete throughout 2013, for the chance to be crowned champion.
Partnering with the Scott L. Schwartz Foundation, 25% of the ticket proceeds will go to charity. Hosted by former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis, on April 27th at the Alexandria Ballrooms, in downtown Los Angeles the Race for the Ring will begin.
Featuring the most renowned names in independent wrestling like; Colt Cabana, Davey Richards and Southern California favorite, BBoy, WCA is sure to give back to charity with a grand spectacle, for fans of all ages to enjoy.
“We are very enthusiastic about this first event,” WCA owner and founder, David Jackson said. “This is going to be a tremendous platform for independent wrestling, charity giving and community organizations to forge a permanent bond.”
WCA will be hosting the biggest names in the independent wrestling world in the first-ever Race for the Ring Tournament, including talent from Ring of Honor, EWF, Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, CZW and many others to bring the best and brightest of talent to Southern California.
“We look forward to extending our philanthropic efforts to the masses. All of the WCA staff and performers are very passionate for giving back and hope that will be showcased in our presentation to audiences, in Southern California,” Jackson said.
