FIP World Title to be Defended
After winning the FIP World Heavyweight Title at Ring of Honor’s Final Battle 2007, the new champion Erick Stevens will have his first title defense in Florida on the 19th after successful title defenses against two former Ring of Honor World Champions, Austin Aries and Bryan Danielson last weekend. Erick will face the man he was supposed to defend the FIP Florida Heritage Title against at Reload before he lost that title to Sal Rinauro of the YRR, Ray Beez. Will the man from a dumpster near you succeed on his second attempt to win the FIP World Title?
911 Incorporated Continues to Target Bruce Santee and Sideshow
After their match at Reload was thrown out because the referee lost control; 911 Incorporated, led by “The Hardcore Giant” Ron Niemi, and the team of “The Marquee” Bruce Santee and Sideshow will try one more time. The rift between Santee and 911 Incorporated began at Starting A Riot when 911 Incorporated ruined Bruce’s birthday celebration. It is a new year, but the hatred between Santee and 911 did not go away when the calendar turned to 2008.
Heartbreak Express Make Their Riot Debut on the 19th
One of the best tag teams in Florida make their debut in Pro Wrestling Riot on Saturday night as the Heartbreak Express of ‘Superstar Sean’ and ‘Fabulous Phil’ challenge Delta Iota Kappa. After battling with Team Vision at the first two shows, things will not be any easier as they face the former FIP Tag Team Champions and current AWA Tag Team Champions. Will the Heartbreak Express have the same success in Pro Wrestling Riot as they have in other companies or will they fall victim to one of the most popular teams in the company? Who will be jealous on the 19th?
The War Between Club 305 and the Lifeguards Continues
At Reload in November, Club 305 was without their manager Amy Vitale who was banned from ringside due to her interference on Riot’s debut show Starting a Riot, but she will be back at the side of Scott Commodity and Austin Andretti as they face the Lifeguards in singles action. Scott Commodity will face Lifeguard Daron while Austin Andretti faces Lifeguard Wade. Will Amy Vitale’s return on the 19th change Club 305’s luck after their loss at Reload?
Delta Iota Kappa Wins Feud with Team Vision
Team Vision suffered a blow to its prestige as one of the premiere factions in Florida after losing two out of three matches to Delta Iota Kappa. After Kenny King defeated Sedrick Strong to take a one to nothing lead, Joshua Masters defeated Chasyn Rance to tie things up at one match apiece. When it appeared that Team Vision would get the victory when Mister Saint Laurent faced Fetish, the perceived advantage by Team Vision disappeared when Fetish pinned Mister Saint Laurent. Delta Iota Kappa will be in full force on Saturday night while only Kenny King is scheduled to make an appearance for Team Vision.
Make sure to be in Port Richey on Saturday night to see Pro Wrestling Riot.
