- Steveson claimed the 2020 Summer Olympic Games gold medal after defeating three-time and reigning world champion Geno Petriashvili in the final, and defeating defending Olympic champion Taha Akgül earlier in the tournament.[5][6] He was also the 2021 Pan American Continental champion, and was a three-time age-group world champion.
- In 2021 it was announced that Gable Steveson signed a contract with the WWE, he said he would go and finish off college.
