Peter W. Many wrote: [Jerry] Brown is best remembered by fans as half of various successful tag-team combos, particularly with Buddy Roberts (as “The Hollywood Blonds”). They held the U.S. Tag Titles in Oklahoma in May, 1970 and February, 1973, the Americas Tag Titles (Los Angeles) in 1974 and ’75, and the NWA Florida Tag Titles in October ’76. In 1977 (using their favorite hold, the piledriver) they won the Mid-South Tag Titles from Greg Valentine and Gorgeous George Jr. Brown held the U.S. Tag Titles in Oklahoma with Bobby jaggers in May 1978, with Hartford Love in March 1979, with the Turk in July 1979, with Ron McFarlane in 1981 and with Roger Kirby in May 1982.
