The show immediately opens with Bron Breakker destroying the announce table and demanding a microphone. The Vision runs down to the ring to try to stop Bron before he does anything rash. If Adam Pearce won’t address this, Breakker tells everyone he will hijack this show.
Paul Heyman cusses out Adam Pearce because he knows the GM knows who attacked Breakker. Pearce walks out with security. He tells Bron it was him who picked his number, and the last time we saw the hooded man, it was Austin Theory. He should consider himself lucky to keep his job after his performance at the Rumble.
LA Knight blindsides The Vision with a steel chair as Breakker is away having a go at Pearce.
#1. Je’Von Evans vs. El Grande Americano – Winner: Je’Von Evans after a distraction by the Original El Grande Americano
During the break, The Usos send a warning shot to Alpha Academy. They also get everyone to tribute their cousin, the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns after he won the Royal Rumble.
AJ Styles’ entrance music plays… Is he back?! Nope, Gunther enters instead, before the music changes to his own. He heads to the ring.
Gunther laughs at the crowd’s attempts to insult him. He berates everyone and AJ Styles on the microphone until Dragon Lee shows up to get him some of the Ring General. As he attacks, Gunther gets ahold of the ring bell and clocks him with it. He locks in a sleeper and officials show up to stop it. Gunther knocks out Lee by hanging him off the ring apron while in the sleeper.
– Paul Heyman wants a match between Bron Breakker and LA Knight, but Pearce tells him that Knight has already left. Breakker leaves not so long after.
– The War Raiders are scheduled to have a match, but Oba Femi shows up and takes them both out by himself.
– The Bella Twins get in the ring to talk. Brie Bella is so happy to be back home, but why do so now? It is because they were the original tag team. The division is better than it has ever been, and they want in. They want the tag team championship.
– Maxxine Dupri promises to break Nattie’s ankle. Alpha Academy can only say she is a bad girl, and…. Ohhhh yeaaah!
#2. Penta vs. Bronson Reed (w/ The Vision) – Winner: Penta by Countout with an assist from LA Knight
Dominik Mysterio returns to RAW! He enters the ring to let us know how happy he is to have watched Liv Morgan win the Royal Rumble. Liv joins him in a celebration. She is the greatest Royal Rumble winner of all time. She also wants to invite the future World Champion to the ring, her sister Raquel Rodriguez.
Raquel tells us they have been celebrating her win, but they have not addressed Liv eliminating her from the Royal Rumble. Morgan explains that she has a title shot, and she got a title shot, so there’s no problem. A win for the Judgment Day is a win for all. Raquel accepts that, but tells her to stay in the back so that her victory tonight is all the sweeter.
#3. [Philly Street Fight for the Women’s World Championship] Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez – Winner: Stephanie Vaquer retains despite Judgment Day interference
Liv Morgan hits Stephanie Vaquer with Oblivion and then holds up the title.
– Roman Reigns shows up in a car, gets out and immediately heads to the ring. He tells us Philadelphia has been a place full of great moments, and painful moments. He won his first Rumble here, and it didn’t go down well.
Roman finds it funny that he wins his second Rumble, and the next place he goes to is Philly. He has a decision to make, and who better to help him choose than the fans here? Does he go after the title that he made? The fans chant for CM Punk. They boo the choice of him going after Drew McIntyre. CM Punk enters.
Instead of addressing Reigns, he looks in the camera and sends a warning to Finn Balor. Roman doesn’t appreciate him interrupting his time. Punk tells Roman this is his show. He is just a visitor here. Punk reminds him he is the champ and what he says goes.
He helps Roman to decide by getting the fans to react. If he wants to take the easy way out, go and pick Drew McIntyre. Reigns doesn’t think he is the easy way out. Punk tells him he destroyed McIntyre in Hell in a Cell. Roman beat Drew for over three years straight, but Punk asks how many of his cousins helped with that.
Roman tells Punk he should be grateful there was a company for him to come back to. Punk responds by telling him he manipulated his family to do his bidding. He thinks by sitting on the sidelines that he is allowing others to have some time to shine.
Punk has held the title for a long time with Heyman, and the company is still here. Just because Roman did it longer, doesn’t mean he did it better. Punk tells Roman he chose to be a part-timer. He chooses to go to ten countries in three weeks.
Reigns reminds him he goes to all these towns because he took a 10-year vacation. The only thing he learned from him is not what to do. When WWE wanted to sign them back, who did they ask if it was all good? They asked him. He remembers the little best friends podcast he ran his mouth on.
Reigns could pick him because he’s the biggest star on the biggest show, but he is only picking him because he hates him. And at WrestleMania, CM Punk will acknowledge him. Reigns walks away as Punk gets the biggest smirk on his face.
