“Then. Now. Forever. Together.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

The WWE Drone flies us over the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, where the Monday Night War came to an end.

Pre-Show Arrivals

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk arrives with AJ Lee. Cleveland is a special city for Punk. WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch sees Punk and Lee walking together and flips out. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY are shown sitting together. 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble Winner Liv Morgan is shown with Raquel Rodriguez and WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcome us to the show. Cole talks about Bron Breakker undergoing surgery after being injured while training last week. Breakker is out indefinitely.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch kicks off the show

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch angrily charges down to the ring and throws down her ring jacket. Lynch paces in the ring and grinds her teeth. Lynch says there is only so much disrespect that one woman can take. The crowd loudly boos her. Lynch says she came out here with a big announcement that she was going to overthrow the corruption of the Royal Rumble, but she saw someone had come back to her show. The crowd chants, “AJ Lee.”

AJ Lee’s music hits to a big reaction. AJ Lee skips out to the stage and waves coyly toward the ring. Lee skips down to the ring and around the ringside area. Lee gets in the ring and smiles at Lynch. Lynch angrily asks, “What are you doing here on MY show?” Lee looks confused and says she’s not here for Lynch. She’s here to support her girl, Maxxine Dupri. Then she planned to hang out in the catering area for a bit.

Lynch says she gets what Lee is doing by trying to be cute with her stupid eyebrows, but she’s not cute. Lee is like a little chiuhuaha yapping in her ear and ruining her life. Lee asks how she is ruining Lynch’s life. She hasn’t done anything… except beating her at WrestlePalooza… and WarGames. But other than that, there’s literally… oh, wait, she cost her the title to Maxxine Dupri at Madison Square Garden. She gets what Lynch is saying, but Lynch has the title back, so it’s like water under the bridge. Lynch begins to crash out and asks what it will take to get rid of Lee. There’s Elimination Chamber in Chicago. Does Lee want to go one-on-one with the person whom Sports Illustrated and Bleacher Report say is the greatest of all time? Does Lee want Lynch to ruin her life like she’s done to her?

Lee says Lynch is either having a nervous breakdown or she wants to go one-on-one with her. Lee smiles as Lynch sneers at her. Lee says she knew Lynch liked her, but she hasn’t had a singles match in over a decade. It would have to be really special and worth it. Lee says Lynch is one of the greatest of all time, but if she already beat Lynch, does that make her lucky or better than her? Lee says that makes her No. 1 Contender. Lynch says no to the title shot, but the crowd starts to chant, “YES!” Lynch says Lee hasn’t done anything to deserve a shot. She’s not even an active member of the Raw roster. Lee says if there’s no title, there’s no match. She’ll just go back to Chicago. Lynch angrily says, “Fine!” Lynch says if Lee thought she was held down by the man before she left, she has no idea what she’s in for. Lynch says, “Welcome to the Big Time!” Lynch storms off as Lee smiles.

Mike’s Thoughts: Decent start to the show with Becky Lynch and AJ Lee. The crowd wasn’t reacting to either lady’s shtick until Lynch really started crashing out. Still, it was a bit too over-the-top and felt really inauthentic. They’ve been building toward this match for a while (though not enough to where Lynch should be acting this psychotic), so I’m surprised it’s happening at Elimination Chamber. I figured this was a certainty for WrestleMania. They must have something bigger planned.

Backstage Segment

An angry “Big” Bronson Reed is walking with Austin Theory and Paul Heyman. Logan Paul also appears.

Arena Concourse

World Tag Team Champions The Usos are in the arena concourse and are fired up. It’s time for them to defend their titles.

The Usos make their entrance as the crowd does the “YEET” dance. They’ll face Otis and Akira Tozawa of the Alpha Academy next.

-Commercial Break-

World Tag Team Championship
The Usos (“Main Event” Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (c’s) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa)

Referee: Rod Zapata

It’ll be Jey Uso starting against Otis. They shake hands before locking up. Otis shoves Jey down and celebrates. Jey quickly applies a waistlock before going to a side headlock. Otis gets out and hits a waistlock takeover. Otis hits the ropes and hits a shoulder tackle. Akira Tozawa tags in and hits the ropes for a dropkick to Jey’s head to pick up a two-count. Tozawa applies a rear chin lock, but Jey fights up and backs him to his corner. Jimmy Uso tags in. Jey presses Tozawa in the corner as Jimmy hits him with a flying forearm. Jimmy sends Tozawa to the corner, but Tozawa boots him back. Tozawa comes off the ropes with a flying hurricanrana. Jimmy fights back, but Tozawa kicks him down and out of the ring. Jey runs in, but Tozawa takes him down. Tozawa sets up for a dive, but Otis stops him. Otis then presses Tozawa above his head and throws him out of the ring onto The Usos.

-Commercial Break-

Back from the break, Jey and Tozawa are down on the mat. Jimmy and Otis tag in. Otis runs over Jimmy with a pair of clotheslines. Otis rolls under a clothesline from Jey and avalanches him. Jimmy fights back with some superkicks and a right hand. Otis reverses a whip and hits a scary back body drop. Otis avalanches Jey in the corner. Jimmy boots Otis back, but Otis fires back with a World’s Strongest Slam for a two-count.

Otis avalanches Jimmy down. Jey tags in when Otis isn’t looking. Otis goes for a Caterpillar Elbow Drop. Jey tries to stun him with a superkick, but whiffs and hooks the head with his heel. Jey knocks Tozawa off the apron. Jimmy tags in. The Usos rock Otis with stereo superkicks, but Otis fires back with a double clothesline. Tozawa tags in and hits the Usos with a double missile dropkick. Tozawa looks focused as he rips his shirt off. Tozawa hits Jey with a suicide dive before getting back in the ring and hitting Jimmy with one. Tozawa gets back in the ring and hits Jey with another suicide dive. Tozawa gets in the ring, says he’s running it back, and hits Jimmy with another suicide dive. Tozawa gets Jimmy in the ring and goes to the top rope for an avalanche senton splash! 1… 2… Jimmy barely kicks out!

Otis tags in and lifts Jimmy. Tozawa goes to the top rope. Jimmy slides off and posts Otis before hitting Tozawa with a superkick. Jey tags in, and Otis eats a superkick before taking a double Spear from the Usos. They hit Otis with the 1D for the win.

Winners by Pinfall and still World Tag Team Champions: The Usos

Akira Tozawa is super emotional after the match ends. The Usos embrace him and Otis in a show of respect.

Byron Saxton gets in the ring and congratulates the Usos on retaining the World Tag Team Championship. Saxton says they’re on the Road to WrestleMania, so what’s next for the Usos? Jey Uso says he wants to give big respect to Tozawa and Big Daddy. They see them. Jimmy says they’re going to remain the best damn tag team in the game on the Road to WrestleMania. Jimmy needs Jey to qualify and win the Elimination Chamber. Then, he needs Jey to go back to being “Main Event” Jey Uso. Four letters, one word: uh-uh… YEET! The Usos embrace.

Mike’s Thoughts: Good tag match with The Usos going over Alpha Academy. I’m not sure exactly where this story is going with the Usos, but I don’t think it ends with Jey Uso being happy to be back in a tag team. He’ll keep failing to return to the main event scene and perhaps turn heel. Who knows? In any event, good match. That near fall with Tozawa, whom they really tried to build back up over the past few weeks, was well executed. Jimmy timed that kickout perfectly.

SmackDown will air on SyFy this Friday because of the Olympics.

Video: Last Monday on Raw, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Roman Reigns had a verbal confrontation. They will battle for the title at WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania 42, CM Punk will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns.

Liv Morgan makes her way to the ring alongside WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. We’ll hear from Morgan next.

-Commercial Break-

Liv Morgan talks about winning the Royal Rumble

Replay: Last Monday on Raw, Raquel Rodriguez failed to defeat Stephanie Vaquer in a Philadelphia Street Fight to win the Women’s World Championship. After the match, Liv Morgan hit Vaquer with an Ob-Liv-ion.

Liv Morgan is in the ring with WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. Morgan goes to speak, but Mysterio stops her. Mysterio grabs a bouquet of roses and a Valentine’s Day chocolate box. Morgan thanks him and says she’ll give him his gift later. As for now, everyone is in the presence of the greatest Royal Rumble winner of all time. Morgan says she put Stephanie Vaquer and Jade Cargill on notice. At WrestleMania, one of them will lose their title to her.

Mysterio goes to speak, but Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer interrupts and heads to the ring. Morgan stands behind Mysterio and whispers in his ear. Vaquer gives Botchamania a new sound byte and says, “Liv… you talk too much.” Vaquer starts to speak in Spanish, so Morgan asks Mysterio what she said. Mysterio says he doesn’t want to repeat what she said. Mysterio says he’ll take care of it and speaks in Spanish to Vaquer. Morgan wants a translation, and Vaquer says Mysterio called himself a “little bitch.” Morgan says she doesn’t speak Spanish, but she knows Vaquer is a liar. Since Vaquer is so excited for Mysterio, she can have one of her shirts. On second thought, Vaquer can’t wear it.

Vaquer says she hopes Morgan picks her so she can kick her ass at WrestleMania. Vaquer goes to leave, but Morgan says she’s not rushing for Vaquer or Cargill. If Vaquer doesn’t like it, she can “cry about it, puta.” Vaquer is furious and slaps Mysterio in the face. Vaquer storms off.

Mike’s Thoughts: Decent segment with Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer. That could be a really good match at WrestleMania, particularly with the Dominik Mysterio influence. Stephanie Vaquer is still in desperate need of a solid character people can get behind. It’s gotta be more than just waiting for the Devil’s Kiss.

Video: Rhea Ripley says she’s used to having someone in her corner, but tonight, she’s all alone with two women trying to secure their legacies. Ivy Nile says she’s the only one built for the Elimination Chamber. Lyra Valkyria says she walked into WrestleMania with one title and left with two. Nile says she’ll be the champion she was always destined to be. Valkyria says she’ll put her name back on the map. Ripley says there’s only one woman who can survive the Elimination Chamber and the brutality it holds. That woman is her.

Lyra Valkyria makes her way to the ring.

Ripley reverses a whip to the corner, but Nile jumps to the second rope and leaps. Ripley dropkicks her out of mid-air. Valkyria runs in and rolls Ripley up for a two-count. They go back and forth before Ripley grabs a waistlock. Nile comes up from behind and gives Ripley and Valkyria a double German Suplex!

-Commercial Break-

Back from the break, Ripley knocks Nile into the tree of woe. Valkyria quickly stomps Nile and attacks Ripley on the top rope. Valkyria sets up for a superplex. Nile sits up and hits Valkyria with a German Suplex as Valkyria hits Ripley with a superplex.

Valkyria fights back and hits a Nightwing on Nile. 1… 2… Ripley breaks it up. Ripley hits Valkyria with a Riptide for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley joins Tiffany Stratton in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Mike’s Thoughts: There’s no real way for me to describe this match other than saying it wasn’t very good at all. Way too choreographed. Everyone was waiting for their carefully planned spot. They did a good job of getting Ivy Nile over in this, but no one in the crowd was catching on. After the botched electric chair double-team spot, they didn’t really get back into this. Not great at all.

The Judgment Day Clubhouse

WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio enters the clubhouse as Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez check on him. Finn Bálor is there. Mysterio says he and JD McDonagh could go after the Tag Titles. Bálor says he’s not done with CM Punk. Mysterio mentions that Punk is facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, so the window is closing. Bálor says he doesn’t want to be an afterthought and thought they were family. Bálor leaves. Mysterio says they are family.

Backstage Segment

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is walking backstage.

-Commercial Break-

Michael Cole interviews CM Punk

Michael Cole is in the ring and says the winner of the Men’s Royal Rumble made his choice last week. In what could be the greatest Main Event in WrestleMania history, it’ll be Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk…

Finn Bálor storms into the ring and says he left CM Punk lying in the ring two weeks ago. Punk is hurt because of him. Roman Reigns isn’t going to take advantage of his kill. It wouldn’t be the first time. Reigns took advantage of a broken top rope when Bálor had him beat. Bálor is done being an afterthought and being pushed around. He wants CM Punk and the World Title at Elimination Chamber. Punk beat Bálor on his home turf, so he’ll do it to Punk in Chicago.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce comes out with security. Pearce says they’re not doing business like this. They already had this conversation. Bálor had his shot. It’s too late for another one. The WrestleMania main event is already set. Pearce says he’s known Bálor for a long time and doesn’t want this to get ugly. Bálor can leave on his own or with security.

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk storms down to the ring and gets in Pearce’s face. Punk gets in the ring, and Bálor goes to the commentary table. Security stands between Punk, who is on the apron, and Bálor, who is on the table. A “CM Punk” chant picks up. Punk asks Bálor if he can hear the people. Bálor isn’t an afterthought. He is the first thought. Bálor doesn’t deserve a title shot. He deserves an ass-whooping. Punk tells him to grow a pair and get a beating.

Bálor says he won’t fight him for no reason. Punk can put the title on the line so Bálor can finish what he started two weeks ago. Punk says he’ll put the title on the line right here in Cleveland. Punk beat his ass in Belfast and will do it in Cleveland. If he wants it in Chicago, he’ll do it. Pearce says he’s not putting the WrestleMania Main Event in jeopardy. Punk says he’s the champion and deserves a little say. Pearce can give him what he wants, or he’ll spend the rest of the show chasing Bálor and kicking his teeth down his throat. Punk will get his pound of flesh.

Pearce tells Punk not to make him regret this. It’ll be CM Punk vs. Finn Bálor for the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber. It is official! The crowd boos since it won’t happen in Cleveland. Bálor leaves through the crowd without further incident.

Punk looks at Michael Cole and asks if he has a question. Cole asks what he’s doing. Why would he jeopardize one of the greatest WrestleMania main events in history? Punk says he’s not jeopardizing anything. He’s building and chasing something. That something is greatness. Punk is the fighting champion these people deserve to see every Monday night. Punk was champion for 434 days. Punk is trying to be 1% better every day. Punk will fight anyone to prove that he is what he says he is: the best in the world. Punk says he’s brave enough to know that without risk, there’s no reward. These people deserve to see him put it all on the line. Punk is humble enough to know it can end any night in any city. Punk says he’s confident enough to know, “That shit ain’t gonna happen!”

Punk says Roman Reigns’ name. Reigns says he hates Punk, but Punk doesn’t think he hates him. Reigns doesn’t even hate what he’s trying to build. Reigns hates knowing he can’t do a damn thing to stop it. There’s one way WrestleMania ends: with Punk’s hand raised as the ring announcer says he’s still the World Heavyweight Champion.

Mike’s Thoughts: Strong segment with CM Punk and Finn Bálor before Punk closed it with another great statement against Roman Reigns. Punk is on a roll heading into WrestleMania.

Backstage Segment

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce confirms with security that Finn Bálor is out of the building. The Vision walks up to him. Paul Heyman says Adam Pearce is more savvy than he gave him credit for. Bron Breakker was pushed to the point that he went home and deadlifted weights until 5 in the morning when he popped a hernia. It could be a career-ending injury for anyone except Bron Breakker. Heyman says this is Pearce’s fault.

Pearce gets up and gets in Heyman’s face. He knows Breakker is the future, and nobody wants him back faster than Pearce. Pearce warned the Vision not to get involved in Austin Theory’s qualifying match. Heyman asks if that was a declarative statement. Pearce says since they’re friends, it was a threat. Heyman says Pearce told him to F.A.F.O.

Logan Paul gets in Pearce’s face and asks what he would do if they did get involved. Paul says he’s the biggest star to ever come out of Cleveland, so Pearce isn’t going to do anything. “Big” Bronson Reed pulls Paul back and dismisses Pearce. Reed tells Paul that Pearce isn’t his problem. Pearce is now Reed’s problem.

Nattie (formerly Natalya) charges down to the ring with new music. She’ll face Maxxine Dupri next.

-Commercial Break-

Nattie vs. Maxxine Dupri

Referee: Danilo Anfibio

The bell rings, and Nattie goes for a takedown, but Dupri counters into an Ankle Lock. Nattie fights out and takes Dupri down. Dupri hits an arm drag, followed by a spinkick. Dupri celebrates and grabs Nattie at ringside before applying an Ankle Lock. Nattie kicks her into the steel steps before driving her into the ring post. Nattie sends Dupri over the commentary table and clears it off. Nattie dumps Dupri on the commentary table and peppers her with strikes. The referee counts them out.

Double Count-out

Nattie grabs Dupri’s legs and turns her over for a Sharpshooter. AJ Lee runs down to help Dupri. Nattie releases the hold and leaves through the crowd. Lee checks on Dupri, who is in a lot of pain. Lee helps Dupri walk away until Becky Lynch drives Lee into the ring post. Lynch celebrates.

Mike’s Thoughts: Natalya has spent nearly twenty years in this company, showing an incredible lack of personality and connection with the fans. Finally, someone had the bright idea to have her stop doing that and embrace the lack of personality by making her a killer. That could work for her. It only took nearly two decades.

Video: LA Knight says he can see the Vision. They put him on the shelf. Knight came back to the Royal Rumble and went after them. The Vision tried to take everything away from him, so he’ll take everything away from them. Knight will beat Austin Theory to get into the Elimination Chamber. Penta is also in that match.

Los Americanos make their way to the ring. They’ll face Je’Von Evans and a partner of his choosing next.

-Commercial Break-

Je’Von Evans’ tag team partner will be The Original El Grande Americano.

Tag Team Match
Los Americanos (Bravo Americano y Rayo Americano) w/ El Grande Americano vs. Je’Von Evans and The Original El Grande Americano

Bravo goes to the top rope and dives, but Evans comes from out of nowhere with an OG Cutter! Wow! Original tags in as Evans dives over the top rope onto Rayo. Original comes off the top rope with a diving headbutt on Bravo for the win!

Winners by Pinfall: Je’Von Evans and The Original El Grande Americano

Je’Von Evans and the Original El Grande Americano celebrate until El Grande Americano attacks them. Americano tries to take Original’s mask off, but Original fights him off. Original rips at Americano’s mask, but Rayo Americano pulls him away.

Mike’s Thoughts: It’s great to see Chad Gable back in action, but damn, Je’Von Evans completely stole the show. This guy’s athleticism and timing are incredible. That OG Cutter from out of nowhere… spectacular. Phenomenal spot that really should be in highlight reels moving forward. The Good El Grande Americano vs. Evil El Grande Americano feud feels like it’s going to get old fast. It kind of already is there. The joke was old last year. At least it should get Chad Gable another WrestleMania appearance.

LA Knight joins Randy Orton in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. Paul Heyman blames the loss on Adam Pearce for getting involved.

In loving memory of Jim Shank: January 28, 1966 – February 6, 2026.

Mike’s Thoughts: Classy move by WWE to pay tribute to a longtime WWE employee.

As for the main event, it was pretty good. Austin Theory still looks like a half-done Create-A-Wrestler with the new look. With all these injuries killing the story flow of The Vision, it’s feeling like an overall mess at this point. Yes, it got Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed over, but the big payoffs are delayed something fierce due to injuries to Seth Rollins and Breakker, leaving the group in a pretty directionless place heading into WrestleMania. If they stick with it long enough, I’m sure this stuff will eventually pay off, but the first ten months have been wildly inconsistent. You can’t do anything about injuries, but you also can’t argue that they’ve completely cratered the group’s momentum

This was the right move to have LA Knight win. Taking him off TV for a bit was a smart reset after he kept losing big spot after big spot. Now it really does feel like put-up-or-shut-up time for him. He’s still getting reactions, but he’s got to get involved in something meaty that actually puts him over the top. He can’t keep sniffing around the main event scene and coming up short. That’s how you end up as Dolph Ziggler.

As for the show, it was ok. Nothing earth-shattering. Typical Raw in the middle of the Road to WrestleMania. We’ve got one more stop because we truly are WrestleMania-bound, so we’re in that kind of “in-between” limbo stage right now.
