- Promo: Ricky Saints spoke about winning the NXT Championship. Jacy Jayne interrupted and gloated about how they’re champions. Ava came out to say both of them will be the captains of their teams for next week. Santino Marella then followed suit, introducing the TNA team captains, Mike Santana and Kelani Jordan. To explain the name change from NXT Invasion to NXT Showdown, Santino spoke about how TNA and NXT have been working together so far with this partnership. The teams will be finalized by the end of the night, so stay tuned for more of that info with a summit segment.
- Back from the commercial break, Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans are hyped about their Bound for Glory match. The Culling rolled up to talk some trash, leading to a tag match challenge. Lyra Valkyria then gifted Tatum Paxley a custom doll that she stayed up all night making, which Paxley gushed over and Izzi Dame was annoyed about.
- Jaida Parker defeated Lash Legend by pinfall.
- Locker Room: Trick Williams wants a spot on Team NXT. Saints gives one to Je’Von Evans instead, followed by Myles Borne. Trick suggests Josh Briggs, which upsets Evans. Saints says everyone has to set aside their differences to work together. Trick then suggests as a co-captain for Borne to face Briggs tonight with the winner joining the team.
- Mustafa Ali came out to have a promo segment with Ethan Page, telling him that he’s going to face him for the men’s North American Championship next week.
- Locker Room: Jacy Jayne says Jaida Parker looks like a strong candidate to be on the team. She also praises Sol Ruca and puts her on the team. Lola Vice pitches that she should be on the team as she’s hit Jayne harder than anyone. Fallon Henley thinks that spot goes to her. Lainey Reid speaks up and everyone starts arguing. Jayne books Vice against Henley for a spot. ZARIA then wants to talk privately with Sol.
- Myles Borne defeated Josh Briggs by pinfall with some help from Matt Cardona interfering to prevent Briggs from using a chain.
- Jordynne Grace spoke to Kelani Jordan, pitching that she should join Team TNA. Kelani said people aren’t sure where Grace or Joe Hendry (who appears) stands on that NXT/TNA front. Mike Santana wants Jordan to meet “everybody”.
- Lola Vice defeated Fallon Henley by pinfall.
- Lainey Reid told Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley that she was the one who helped Jayne retain at No Mercy and that she attacked Jazmyn Nyx because she “never really deserved to be in Fatal Influence.”
- Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater defeated The Culling (Niko Vance & Shawn Spears) by pinfall.
- Summit: The teams have been settled, with Team TNA for the men being Mike Santana, Frankie Kazarian, Moose, and Leon Slater, and the women’s team for TNA being Kelani Jordan, The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) and Mara Sade. A brawl erupted to end the show.
