Matt Hardy has put any lingering questions about his wrestling future to rest, confirming that he and Jeff Hardy are already locked into new contracts with TNA Wrestling. The clarification comes as TNA gears up for its national television expansion on AMC Networks in January 2026, ending weeks of speculation that the brothers were working on short-term deals.

Hardy addressed the situation directly on Twitter while responding to fan questions about the status of The Hardy Boyz. He revealed that the deal has been in place “for a while,” making the note while sharing a clip from an interview focused on the brothers’ bond and their impact on TNA’s business. After thanking interviewer Mike Gilbert, Hardy casually added that they had already re-signed. The confirmation arrives just weeks ahead of TNA’s AMC debut on January 15, 2026.

Hardy wrote, “This chat was a fun dive into myself & @JEFFHARDYBRAND’s brotherly relationship as well as a discussion about the Hardys’ effect on @ThisIsTNA’s business at 44:40.. Thanks for a very compelling combo, @MikeGilbert311. BTW, we’ve been re-signed for a while. Merry Christmas, guys!”

The announcement also puts to rest earlier reports suggesting that the Hardys were operating on rolling or three-month agreements. From an on-screen standpoint, the move makes sense. Matt and Jeff are currently in their fourth reign as TNA World Tag Team Champions, with the title run surpassing 150 days.
