John Morrison vs. Shelton Benjamin was just added to Judgment Day in Chicago. Originally with six matches the internal speculation was that CM Punk would cash in his Money in the Bank title shot. Nobody knows for sure because as of yesterday the booking wasn’t finalized.

Superstars on Thursday night scored a 1.0 rating, just beating out ECW this week. The ECW timeslot change to 10pm likely has something to do with the slight drop. I guess we’ll see next week.

Former WWE wrestler James Dick (John Toland) and Jillian Hall just got engaged. The couple met a few years ago while training in Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville.

I swear I’m not making this up. There is a new tag team in developmental in Tampa called Le French Men made up of Caylen Croft, Trent Beretta and Jenny Cash, who is now called Fifi in a French maid costume. They bring baguettes to the ring and use them as weapons on their opponents.

Another interview with Randy Orton at http://tinyurl.com/py2cua where he talks about growing up and becoming a daddy.

John Cena, who is from Boston, got a ton of heat sitting courtside at Game 6 of the NBA playoff game between the Orlando Magic and Boston Celtics. He arrived in a Celtics jersey but the Magic, who comp’d his seat, told him if he didn’t wear a Magic jersey he would have to hit the bricks. At half time he made a sign with a piece of paper and a felt-tip pen reading “LEAVE THE MAGIC AT DISNEY!” and held it up for TV cameras:

TNA has just signed James Storm to a new multi-year contract.

Impact on Thursday night did a 1.2 rating.

Bobby Lashley choked out Mike Cook last night in 25 seconds in Edmonton.
Before the fight Cook, wearing a Lucha mask, was goading Lashley at the weigh-ins, which didn’t sit well with Lashley: “Everybody tries to make fun of the wrestling thing. I’m real. I’m coming out here to fight,”
Lashley said in his post-fight interview. “You know, if they don’t want to fight me, they can play around. If they play around I’m gonna knock ’em out or choke ’em out. That’s what I did today. Choked him out. Made him pay. Now he can go put back on the mask and have fun with himself.”

There is a behind-the-scenes look at the movie Warrior at http://tinyurl.com/ppg6wx with Kurt Angle cast as a Russian MMA fighter.
He talks about wanting to get out of wrestling and do movies full-time.

wrestler Jon Croitoru aka Bruiser Bedlam, who worked for Jim Cornette‘s
Smoky Mountain Wrestling in the 90s as well as a brief WWF stint as
Johnny K-9 in the 90s. Croitoru, 43, believed to be a member of the
Satan’s choice biker gang, was arrested on Friday in Vancouver for
allegedly plotting to kill members of a rival gang. Croitoru has
previous convictions for assault and trafficking cocaine.

Interview with the former Chris Masters at www.thewrestleblog.com. When
asked if the WWE Wellness Program works, he said: “I think now it does.
From my knowledge, I’m not up there anymore obviously, but it’s a good
policy. There is a lot of kids who watch wrestling, it’s a big part of
the product and audience, and kids look up to us as these super humans,
so you have to set a good example. You have to protect them, you can’t
have kids looking up to guys who are doing that stuff, that’s just how
it is. It’s a good policy, and it’s necessary. It protects the boys,
too. It can catch health issues that have nothing to do with drugs. So
now, I think it does work and I think you need to have it.”

The Oshawa Express at http://tinyurl.com/px27dp has a story on Jim
Duggan
.

Don’t Start the Revolution Without Me! by Jesse Ventura went on sale on

There is an interview with Blackjack Mulligan at
www.midatlanticgateway.com which is also a nice website I recommend.

Bushwhacker Luke at www.blogtalkradio.com/HitTheRopesRadioShow talks
about his WWF run, his Memphis days and more. He noted back in the day
when the Sheepherders were feuding with the Fabulous Ones, he often had
to get escorted out the building by police because fans literally wanted
to kill them. He said he would often get his car tires slashed and his
windshield smashed.

www.MachoMadness.com, the official website of Randy Savage, have an
