Hurricane Helms hinted on his Facebook that he and TNA Knockout Velvet Sky are no longer an item. He also wrote on his Twitter: “All good things come to an end.”

The producers of Deal or No Deal are looking for WWE fans to be contestants of an upcoming wrestling-themed show. The taping will take place in Connecticut. You have to email your name, phone number, email address, current photo and a few lines about what makes you a WWE fan to [email protected].

The former Mr. Kennedy did an interview with www.pwrshow.com on ESPN Milwaukee. He talked briefly about going to TNA but said nothing was finalised at this point. On the deal in Los Angeles with Randy Orton that led to his firing, he said: “Randy Orton and I had become very good friends. We rode together, we were tight, we were buds. When I got to the building I ran up behind him and gave him a big bear hug from behind and he treated me like I was just an acquaintance of his… and then the fact that he made such a big stink about supposedly dropping him on his head. He literally blew up in front of all the talent including Vince and Stephanie and began to lecture me about how I had to be careful and his health was very important. It just doesn’t make sense to me.” In a parting shot he also revealed that WWE talent are often left in the dark and some booking is done on the fly: “You’re never told anything. It kinda sucked being the talent being in the dark all the time… You hear all the horror stories about how WCW died. That’s the way it is now in WWE. Sometimes shows continue to be written after the show has started.”

Jim Ross in his latest blog at www.jrsbarbq.com shared his thoughts as it relates to creative: “Rey Mysterio vs. Mike Knox is the main event Thursday night on Superstars and the long and the short of it have a nice bout. Knox has plenty of potential and still reminds me at times of a young Bruiser Brody. Mysterio is a one of a kind competitor and I hope that some day the powers that be see that Rey vs. Tyson Kidd and Rey vs.
Evan Bourne would be matches fans would love to emotionally invest.
Goodness knows that wrestling fans in general are rapidly growing tired of seeing many of their favorites competing/performing with the same suspects week in and week out. Sometimes new bouts will suck but sometimes they won’t but at least it will be something different. Isn’t different still a good thing?”

Superstars on Thursday night scored a 0.7 rating, its worst number to date.

The latest WWE earnings report revealed that the Extreme Rules PPV did 213,000 buys, up slightly on last year. The Not American Bash did just 178,000 buys, making it one of the lowest PPV numbers of the past 10 years.
