Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre were written off television this past week due to visa issues. Nobody knows for sure when they will be back as both will have file new paperwork from the UK, and that process can take time, perhaps longer for McIntyre as he recently married Tiffany, and the process is more complex when your spouse is a U.S. citizen.
Undertaker (Mark Calaway, 45) and Michelle McCool, 30, got married this past weekend at what was described as “a beautiful” ceremony in South Texas. The ceremony was attended by family and friends, including former Divas Torrie Wilson and Lisa Marie Varon (Victoria/Tara), and Booker T with a very pregnant-with-twins Sharmell Huffman. The couple got together three years ago. This is the third time down the aisle for Taker while McCool was previously married to her high school sweetheart.
Raw last night did a 3.3 rating and averaged 4.5 million viewers, which was down over 10 percent from last week’s 5.1 million viewers.

WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt took umbrage with the statement Martha Hart released to the Hartford Courant yesterday regarding her lawsuit against WWE and Vince and Linda McMahon. He said Martha’s statement was not accurate as WWE didn’t sue her because she brought a wrongful death suit against the company, but did petition for her suit to be heard in Connecticut instead of Missouri where Owen Hart’s tragic accident took place. He says Martha’s current suit is nothing more than “a personal attack” on Linda McMahon because she is running for Senate. The latest exchange is at http://tinyurl.com/384jcs2.
Crave has an interview up with Chris Jericho to promote Downfall. A little wrestling talk here. He said he doesn’t train as much as he would like to anymore, and noted the days of giant physiques aren’t as important as they once were. “The thing about wrestling is too, when you first start out you’ve got to be as big as you can. You’ve got to catch people’s eyes. Once you’ve been around for a while and you start getting older with them and they become familiar with your personality, your character, big, small, it doesn’t matter. It’s all about the character that you have and like I said, appealing to the audience. That’s more important than how much muscle you have.” More at http://tinyurl.com/3xu6f9d
