It’s a whole new year, and a whole new beginning for New Era Wrestling!
Join us this Saturday night, January 5th at 8:00 pm (doors open at 7:30 pm) as NEW debuts at Sports of All Sorts in Springdale, OH. Sports of All Sports is an indoor sports and recreation facility (w/batting cages, basketball, video games, and much more…) There’s plenty of accessible parking, in a safe environment.
Newly crowned Heavyweight Champion, Jay Donaldson will defend his title, as will the new Midwest Independent Champion, DJ Tom Sharp, and NEW Tag Champions, Shock & Awe (“Lightning” Tim Lutz/”Punisher” Brad Callaway).

OCW Presents Stairway To Stardome Jan. 12th Coshocton, Ohio
On Jan 12 OCW kicks off 2008 with our annual Stairway 2 Stardom event.
This year the stairway 2 Stardom match will feature the Tag Team division, as 8 teams will battle it out in a battle royal for the Tag Team gold, with the final 2 teams competing in a TLC match for the titles.

HWA Outbreak is coming to the Dayton Gym Club (430 Wayne Avenue in Dayton, OH) on Friday Night January 18th!Bell Time is 8:00 PM! Doors Open at 7:30 PM!

In the main event, “Buffalo Bad Boy” Brian Jennings will defend his HWA Heavyweight Title against BJ Whitmer.

The HWA Tag Team Titles will be on the line when the reigning champions The GP Code are challenged by HWA newcomers The Hybrids!
Two matches will be held with the winners moving on to the upcoming HWA Cruiserweight Championship Tournament…
First up, tag team partners collide when “The Solution” Alan Wasylychyn takes on fellow Maverick, “Astonishing” Aaron Williams. Who will their manager Brock Guffman side with?!?
Then in a 4 Way Elmination Match, “The New Horror” Sami Callihan, Dustin Rayz, “The Hazardous High Flyer” Virus and a yet to be named member of the Chikara roster will go at it, with the last man standing getting a spot in the tourney!
RCW New Years Revolution Jan. 5th, Portsmouth Ohio
RCW brings back the Lethal Lottery Tagteam Tournament for our first event of 2008. 2007 was such a great year for Revolutionary Championship Wrestling that we want to start 2008 off with a bang. January 5th, The Elk’s City Lodge in Portsmouth, OH will host NEW YEAR’S REVOLUTION. The 1 night tournament will have a drawing that will be held before each first round match during the tagteam tournament to determine the participants. Tagteams will be random. You may have friend teaming together or you may have foes comprising a team. The team that wins will have to go through 3 other teams, winning 3 matches in 1 night! The winning tagteam will EACH get a match of their choice anytime for the first 6 months of 2008. There is no way to predict what can happen in a tournament like this so it should prove to be very interesting to say the least.
Also on the card, Tyson Rogers earned his #1 Contenders spot at FC5 for Tank Runyon’s RCW World Heavyweight Championship. These two will meet one-on-one January 5th at New Year’s Revolution. Tank Runyon is said to almost be back at 100% after his brutal cage match with Trik Nasty whereas Tyson Rogers barely broke a sweat at FC5. Could Tank Runyon’s Title run be one of the shortest in RCW history? We’ll find out on 1/5/08.
