After record sales in the UK over the past year, Big Vision Entertainment is launching uk.bigvisionentertainment.com in an effort to keep their dedicated UK fans better informed on upcoming releases and provide easier accessibility of their DVDs.
“The UK fans have spoken, and while the formula seems simple enough, their response to alternate wrestling product at a good price has been tremendous,” said Big Vision founder/CEO Houston Curtis. “With multiple #1s on the sports charts and every major chain in the country stocked with our releases, we wanted to find a way to let UK fans know that despite being based here in the United States, we are in tune with their desires as wrestling fans and make it even easier and faster to get their hands on our DVDs.”
Sam Korkis, President of Big Vision Entertainment added, “Our UK business has expanded exponentially over the past year. 2007 saw a maximum of one title a month released in the UK. But, demand was so high that we released four titles alone this March and our latest release, the UK version of Ultimate Insiders Matt and Jeff Hardy, debuted on the charts this week in the top 10 beating out every UFC and TNA release.”
