SuperBrawl event held Saturday, September 8th, at the Sumner Civitans
Ballpark located in Greensboro, NC.
1. Gregory Vercetti w/mananger Sheik Lumpkin defeated Brass Munkey by
pinfall (6:13)
2. The Neon Lions (Lee Valiant & Chris Collins) defeated Michael
McAllister & Trent Wylde and Xsiris & Kamakazi Kid by pinfall in
Three-Way Tag Team action (15:00)
3. “The 1st” Ric Converse defeated “Dangerous E” Corey Edsel w/manager
Sheik Lumpkin by pinfall (14:39)
4. Garry “Madd Trucker” Stevens defeated Mid-Atlantic Television
Champion “Simply” Steve Greene w/Ty Dillinger by pinfall, Greene
retains the title due to the pinfall occurring after the traditional
10-minute television time limit (11:21)
5. The VIP’s (“King of Heat” Gemini Kid & Jesse “El Fuego” Ortega)
defeated the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions Rob “Boogie Woogie Man”
McBride & Tank Lawson by pinfall to win the titles (26:07)
6. Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion “Infamous Icon” Joey Silvia
w/Commissioner Ty Dillinger defeated “Handsome” Mitch Connor w/manager
Brad Stutts by pinfall to retain the title (23:01)

Notes:
Garry “Madd Trucker” Stevens returned to action following a lengthy
rehab of his surgically repaired knee with a major pinfall win over
Mid-Atlantic Television Champion “Simply” Steve Greene.
Rob “Boogie Woogie Man” McBride was knocked senseless by Gemini Kid in
the closing moments of the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Title bout with a
pair of brass knuckles, resulting in the end of a 14-month long title
reign. Tank Lawson, who had been dropped on the ground moments before,
entered the ring just as the official was making the three-count. For
several moments after the new champions left the ring Lawson just
stood over McBride and stared him down. McBride struggled to his feet
as tension mounted and the former champions shook hands and smiled as
the fans at ringside shouted “shake and bake!”
The main event Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title bout became an instant
classic as both competitors went from the ring to the outfield of the
ballfield over and into the steel fences and even brawling on the
trailer that the ring arrived on. Silvia was tossed over the fence
onto a dirt road once, thrown into the fence upside down and suplexed
on the ring trailer as both competitors pulled out all stops. Connor
was constantly finding the champion flying at him from every angle,
both on the ring apron and off of the ring ropes and the managers both
made their respective presences felt throughout the match, bumping
into each other on several occasions.
