The temperatures are climbing higher and higher this summer… and ECWA is upping it’s game right along with it! Already this summer, we’ve seen huge debuts, title matches that changed the companies landscape, and shocking moments that have awed us all. All that and we still have this SATURDAY JULY 18 as ECWA presents the first annual ‘Summer Splash’ event!
Planned for the evening are HUGE title matches, two debuts, and a night of unrivaled professional wrestling that’s no gimmicks, no “names”, no b.s… our guys are the stars who put on one HELL of a night of action that has never disappointed in the almost 50 year history of the company.
Let’s take a look at the night’s planned action:
–ECWA Heavyweight Championship: Matt Saigon ( c) vs. Azrieal vs. Ricky Martinez
Saigon has been on a TEAR since winning ‘Big Red’… but he’s still dealing with a thorn in his side with former champ Ricky Martinez chasing the title he felt he should have never lost. And he doesn’t help Pan Corp is always lurking around the corner. Azrieal just last month gave Saigon his toughest test to date and almost took the title for himself. Now he comes back for more in a HUGE TRIPLE THREAT match to see who’s the true top dog in the ECWA.
–ECWA Tag Team Championship: D-Line ( c) vs. Extreme Rednecks
This one has gotten personal with the two powerhouse teams trading wins over the last few months but unfortunately for the young Rednecks D-Line’s win made them the tag team champions of the company. Blow for blow, these teams are eventually matched… can D-Line fight off the hungry Rednecks and keep their titles? This will be WAR folks!
Renee Michelle has proven she’s gotten better and better by holding the title for months now even defeating the talented and popular Tessa Blanchard twice. So naturally, the femme fatale has joined Pan Corp to cement her status as the top female in the company. A new challenger isn’t impressed… Brittany Blake makes her ECWA debut and is ready to steal away the Women’s Championship once and for all for the fans! Can Michelle fight off another challenger?
–ANYTHING GOES-FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE: Breaker Morant vs. Cory Kastle
It’s become blatantly obvious this once friendship and tag team is broken forever. Kastle’s sudden hatred for Morant is almost as puzzling as his allegiance with the aforementioned Pan Corp. Breaker Morant isn’t one to back down from a challenge and has decided he wants to end Cory Kastle now and deal with the consequences later. This match will surely go throughout the arena as neither man wants to lose this one. Can Breaker Morant finish off his former friend for good? Or is Cory Kastle a ‘New Standard’ in ECWA like he claims? We find out soon enough!
–LUMBERJACK MATCH-PHIL SLY’S IN-RING CAREER AND CUBAN CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE-THE FINAL MATCH: Phil Sly w/ his legal counsel vs. Mr. Ooh La La
Ooh La La is fed up with Phil Sly claiming to be a champion… he’s fed up with him claiming to be undefeated even though he’s never won a match himself… and now after months of fighting back and forth and hiding, in Sly’s case anyway, this is the final straw! Ooh La La looks to finally shut the mouth of Phil Sly forever. And this time he can NOT get away with the ring surrounded by LUMBERJACKS! It’s the end of the line for Phil Sly… or is it?
–Bobby Shields vs. *making his ECWA debut* Tripp Cassidy
This is quite possibly the most interesting match on the card because of Cassidy’s debut. He’s known and as a hard hitter… one who isn’t afraid to take it “extreme”. And Shields in ring prowess vs. that kind of man should be an interesting dynamic that promises to a dark horse show stealer. Shields is looking to get back in the championship hunt and in his way is Tripp Cassidy, who’s trying to make a lasting impression on ECWA management and the fans. What can happen in this one?
–KID USA vs. ‘Bamm Bamm’ JD Browning
Browning has been working the last nerve of the fans in ECWA with his long winded boasts and flamboyant struts in and out of the ring. But thus far, no one has been able to best him. Up comes the promising rookie Kid USA who’s been gaining momentum with his impressive showings as of late. The Kid looks to be the man who takes down the loudmouth Bamm Bamm for good! Can Kid USA win and start to position himself as a threat in ECWA? Or will the self proclaimed ‘King of Strut’ once again dance his way to victory? This is one to watch!
