This Saturday night, June 16th, New England Championship Wrestling returns to the National Guard Armory, 2 Armory Road in Danvers for what will be a history making night. Bell time is 7 PM.

This card will be another international TV taping for NECW’s weekly Internet television broadcast.

The main event is the grudge match NECW fans have been waiting for – the first one-on-one battle between former NECW Triple Crown Champion, “The Human Nightmare” Evan Siks and the man who caused him to lose that title, Big Rick Fuller. These two have been trying to get at each other for months and now the match – truly a Clash of the Titans – has been made. This will be one bout you don’t want to miss. This past Saturday night at the 4th Annual IRON 8 Championship, the challenge was made and accepted. The NECW Tag Team Champions, The Dogs of War will face the former 3 time NECW Tag Team Champions, Sabotage (NECW Triple Crown Champion, D.C. Dillinger and the 2007 IRON 8 Champion, “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards).

It will also be a night where one of the great legacies in professional wrestling will be upheld – the National Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight Championship. The NWA is pro wrestling’s oldest governing body, dating back to 1948. The NWA World Heavyweight Championship was recently declared vacant and a tournament is currently being held to crown a new champion. NECW has been selected to host two of the first round matches for this historic tournament and the first of those two bouts will be taking place in Danvers as Claudio Castignoli takes on Midwest star Pepper Parks. NECW Television Champion, “The Exotic” Kristian Frost defends his title against “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke. These two are no strangers to each other and Locke has set his sights on capturing the championship.

“The Golden Greek” Alex Arion returns to Danvers to take on the giant-like Max Bauer in a grudge match.

“Straight Edge” Brian Fury battles DNA member “Sensational” Scott Reed.

In a special mixed tag team attraction, it will be the 2006 IRON 8 Champion, “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards teaming with World Women’s Wrestling Champion, Tanya Lee to take on the team of Danny Jaxx and the beautiful Lexxus.

Also in action, 2D Edge (Pat Masters & Jose Perez) take on the father and son duo, The Bakers in a tag team grudge match. Perez returns to action after being injured in a post match attack by The Bakers that took place in April. 2D Edge will be looking to extract a large measure of revenge on the “Not So Fabulous” Baker Boys.
