NWA/ECCW owner Dave Republic is shaving his head in support of the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research on September 14th.  To learn more on on Facebook CLICK HERE or to make a make a donation CLICK HERE …..Also doing some charity work is SuperGirl Christie Summers who, along with her Mom, will be riding their bikes 150 miles on September 8th and 9th in aid of the National MS Society. To learn more or make a pedge or donation CLICK HERE …..Congratulations to Vid Vain and “Ironman” Mike Roselli on their upcoming nuptials…..SuperGirls wrestler Aurora has been wrestling in Mexico and is currently in Japan…..”American Dragon” Bryan Danielson will be facing Brent Albright in the finals of the NWA Heavyweight Title Tournament on September 1st in Puerto Rico…..Danielson had  some words for Albright  after his win over “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce this Saturday night and Pearce had angry words for Danielson …..NWA/ECCW was VERY busy with eight shows last weekend including the show in North Vancouver on Saturday, a private charity event on Sunday in Mission and six shows in Nanaimo as part of the VIEX in Nanaimo from Friday to Sunday…..DK Roc will be out for the next month after injuring his knee in a match with Abbadon…Speaking of SuperGirls Wrestling, the next shows are September 28th in Surrey and September 29th in Vancouver – announcements of the talent coming in for the shows will be released over the summer but we can tell you that former NWA World Women’s Champion Madison is returning…..BTW – SuperGirls DVDs are now 50% off! …NWA/ECCW will be part of the VIEX in Nanaimo during August…..Our new training centre, Slam Academy is now open.  For more info on the school including a student application, CLICK HERE.
