[ROH/SHIMMER Events] Ring of Honor has two big events this Friday and Saturday in the midwest! [WWE News] WWE returns to the Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday, November 4th, 2008. This will be the first WWE event in Orlando since WrestleMania 24 weekend & Ric Flair‘s farewell edition of Monday Night Raw. No word yet on if TNA plans to hold a TV taping that night. [TNA News] TNA will be holding a house show at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York on May 17th, 2008. The Mid-Hudson Civic Center has been hosting pro wrestling events for many years, including WWE television tapings and the 1999 edition of ECW’s Hardcore Heaven pay-per-view. The infamous match that concluded with the Heenan family cutting Andre The Giant‘s hair also took place at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center.
