AEW Full Gear Quick Results are below:

The Buy-In Kickoff Show saw Dr. Britt Baker defeat Bea Priestly by Submission with the Lock Jaw.

Post Match: The lights went out and Awesome Kong came out with Brandi, while Bea was still in the ring. Kong hit the spinning back fist on Priestly, and then gave Brandi a knife before laying out Bea with an Implant Buster.

Brandi then handed Kong the knife back and she used it to cut a chunk of Priestly’s hair off.

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) defeated Santana and Ortiz.

The Rock & Roll Express was sitting ringside for the match.

Santana and Ortiz won with The Street Sweeper for the victory.

AEW World Championship Match: Chris Jericho (c) defending against Cody.

The three judges for the match were Dean Malenko, Arn Anderson and The Great Muta.

Cody stated on last week’s episode of Dynamite that if he loses the match, he will never challenge for the AEW World Championship ever again

It was noted by Jim Ross and Excalibur that its was Jericho’s 49th birthday.  The fan’s obviously knew and started chanting happy birthday at Jericho.

There was point early in the match where Jericho was standing on the ramp and Cody did a a Suicide Dive, but Jericho moved out of the way and Cody landed face-first on the ramp, which busted him open.  He was bleeding very badly above his right eye.  Dr. Sampson ran over to tend to Cody and did his best to stop the bleeding.  The match continued.

Chris Jericho retained the AEW World Championship after MJF threw in towel for referee stoppage.

The Inner Circle then came to celebrate. MJF had a look of anger on his face. MJF then began crying and apologized to Cody. Cody picked MJF up off the mat and then MJF kicked Cody in the groin for a heel turn.

As MJF was leaving up the ramp, a fan threw a beverage at him, and you could see security running over to that fan.

Unsanctioned Match: Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega

This was a crazy and wild match from start to finish. Moxley eventually hit an elevated Paradigm Shift on Omega in the ring that had wood exposed.
