Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Championship Title Match: Bryan Danielson vs. CIMA
At the 2007 Battle of Los Angeles, CIMA won the right to challenge “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson for the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Championship, but scheduling conflicts prevented the match from taking place. Now, a little over four months later, the title match between these two titans will be the main event matchup for the first night of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s All Star Weekend 6. Their first contest ended in a draw, but this time the title is on the line. Who will it motivate more, the champion or the challenger?

First Ever Meeting – One Fall: Super Dragon vs. Susumu Yokosuka
While a scheduling conflict will prevent Davey Richards from attending Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s All Start Weekend 6, Commissioner Dino Winwood has made the best out of a bad situation. For the first time ever, Super Dragon, one half of the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Tag Team Champions, will take on Typhoon representative Susumu Yokosuka. Both men are known for overpowering smaller opponents, but Yokosuka is clearly at a disadvantage in this match. Will Yokosuka ‘s speed and agility allow him to hit his Jumbo Tsuruta-inspired lariat, or will Super Dragon overwhelm his opponent with sheer brute force?

Tag Team Match – Single Fall: Tyler Black & Jimmy Jacobs vs. Scott Lost & Joey Ryan
For the second event in a row, Scott Lost and Joey Ryan’s shot at the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Tag Team titles has been rescheduled thanks to Davey Richards’ lack of sobriety and availability. And as you can imagine, this does not sit well with the would-be challengers, who refuse to believe this is simply a “coincidence.” Coincidence or not, Scott and Joey will have to be patient, and in the meantime maintain their Number One Contenders ranking to receive their shot at the belts. But standing in their way is a team that turned quite a few heads in their last Pro Wrestling Guerrilla appearance, and who are looking for a shot of their own at the World Titles. All Star Weekend 6 is Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs’ opportunity to propel themselves up the tag team ladder here in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, but a formidable challenge lies ahead of them.

La Vanganza Del Ruso – Single Fall: Alex Koslov vs. TJ Perkins
In case you hadn’t heard, Alex Koslov is something of a big deal nowadays. He has become a bonafide sensation in Mexico , and is now ready to make his return to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, where he once competed as a tag team wrestler. Citing his star power in Mexico , Koslov believes his name alone is enough to make this a true All Star Weekend, but former training partner TJ Perkins thinks otherwise. One of the most humble and soft spoken athletes in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Perkins was outraged to hear that Koslov had made such demands. Can Perkins use his extensive experience to his advantage and teach Koslov some humility? Or will the history books show that Alex Koslov’s conquest of America began with a victory over TJ Perkins?

Tag Team Partners Collide – Single Fall: Jack Evans vs. Roderick Strong
Earlier this year at DDT4, Roderick Strong and Jack Evans were scheduled to once again join forces and fight for the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Tag Team titles. However, in order to avoid a paternity test, Jack Evans was forced to flee to Japan , causing him to miss the tournament. While it turned out that the child named Jack Evans Jr. was not really Jack Evans’ son, this left Roderick Strong two options: find a new partner, or forfeit his spot in the tournament. Roderick ended up making the right decision, teaming with “The Man That Gravity Forgot” PAC, and ultimately winning the tournament and the titles. Unfortunately for Roderick Strong, his team ended up losing the titles just a few months later, but that helped Strong see that he was truly a singles wrestler, and his goal was the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Championship. Now these former tag team partners will meet the night before they receive a potential title shot, and a victory here would give either man serious momentum going in to what would be biggest match of their Pro Wrestling Guerrilla career.

Tag Team Match – Single Fall: Muscle Outlaw’z (Naruki Doi & Masato Yoshino) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)
At DDT4, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla fans were introduced to the Muscle Outlaw’z (Naruki Doi & Masato Yoshino) in a very big way. The duo from Dragon Gate surprised everyone with a victory over tournament favorites Arrogance (Chris Bosh & Scott Lost), and very nearly defeated PAC and Roderick Strong in the tournament semi-finals. Despite losing, their exciting performance was enough to win over the crowd, guaranteeing the Outlaw’z a place in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla whenever they were able to return. Another team that has been able to win over the hearts and minds of the fickle Pro Wrestling Guerrilla faithful has been The Young Bucks. Matt and Nick Jackson have shown a willingness to do anything it takes to first earn a spot on the roster, and now for a shot at the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Tag Team Championship. A victory here would not only be the biggest win of The Young Bucks’ careers, but it would also propel them to the number two spot for challenging for the titles. But Doi and Yoshino are no pushovers, so the Jackson brothers’ biggest win would only come after their toughest test.

Singles Match – Single Fall: Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson vs. El Generico
El Generico began 2007 with the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Tag Team titles around his waist, and at two different points throughout the year, he held the World Championship and the Tag Team Championship simultaneously. While the year began very well, it didn’t end quite the same way, and El Generico finds himself climbing back to the top of the heap. Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson has been seeking his chance to make an impact on the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World title picture, and derailing El Generico’s quest would be a huge step in the right direction. With Karl Anderson’s “bff” Joey Ryan concentrating on the tag team titles, it looks like Anderson will be on his own when it comes to facing the former world champion.

Singles Match – Single Fall: Ronin vs. Scorpio Sky
For two men that started training together, Ronin and Scorpio Sky’s careers have gone down two very different paths. Ronin has primarily been known as a singles wrestler, while Scorpio Sky is mainly thought of as a tag team wrestler. While Ronin has continued to chase singles glory in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Scorpio Sky stepped away from the tag team aspect, and now is focused on singles wrestling as well. With the start of the new year, both Ronin and Scorpio Sky hope to prove to fans and staff of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla that they are ready for a shot at the World Championship. That first important step of 2008 takes place at All Star Weekend 6, as this match could have important ramifications throughout the year for either man.

Six Person Tag Team Grudge Match – Single Fall: Claudio Castagnoli, Eddie Kingston & Human Tornado vs. Chris Hero, Candice LaRae & The Necro Butcher
Since their feud began at the 2007 Battle of Los Angeles, Chris Hero and Human Tornado have battled one another all over the world, which has only served to intensify the bad blood between the two men. Then at The High Cost of Doing Business in November, Human Tornado took things to a whole new level by bribing Eddie Kingston to betray Chris Hero, and convincing Hero’s longtime friend and tag team partner Claudio Castagnoli to stab Hero in the back, as well. With Claudio and Kingston on his side, Human Tornado clearly has the advantage going into All Star Weekend 6. But luckily for Chris Hero, you don’t circle the globe wrestling without making a few friends along the way, so Hero called up the one man he knows is always looking for a good fight: Necro Butcher. With two spots taken care of, Hero was about to return to his wrestling rolodex, but then thought about how he got to this point. It was Human Tornado’s abuse of Candice LeRae that lead to Hero looking for partners, so why not team with the one person looking for revenge above all else on Human Tornado? Why not team with Candice LeRae? Sure, she would be the smallest person in the match by far, but you don’t endure months of abuse without toughening up a bit, and she’s shown a knack for getting the upper hand on Tornado from time to time. Candice, of course, jumped for a chance at Tornado, and the second ever intergender six person tag team match in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla history was signed. But it’s not just Chris Hero and Human Tornado’s pride on the line in this match. If Chris Hero’s team leaves the first night of All Star Weekend 6 with the win, then Hero will get a No Disqualification match with Human Tornado on Night Two, with Claudio Castagnoli and Eddie Kingston barred from ringside! If Human Tornado’s team is victorious, then Tornado will receive a singles match with Candice LeRae on Night Two of All Star Weekend 6, with Hero and Necro Butcher barred from ringside! The stakes have never been higher in the battle between Chris Hero and Human Tornado!

Sunday January 6, 2008 Van Nuys Armory ( 17330 Victory Blvd Van Nuys , CA ) 5:00pm – All Star Weekend VI – Night Two

Possible Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Championship Title Match: Bryan Danielson vs. Roderick Strong
He was a finalist in the 2007 Battle of Los Angeles tournament, and is a former Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Tag Team Champion, however singles glory has eluded Roderick Strong. If Bryan Danielson is able to successfully defend his title on Night One, he will face Roderick Strong in a rematch of their hard-hitting October 2007 bout. Will Bryan Danielson be able to prevail over two tough challengers in the same weekend, or will Roderick Strong’s determination to prove himself as the top wrestling in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla propell him to the top?

Possible Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Championship Title Match: CIMA vs. Jack Evans
Nearly two years ago, Jack Evans was invited by CIMA to compete in Dragon Gate, one of the hottest wrestling promotions in Japan . While training and touring together, both men developed a highly competitve rivalry with one another, driving both men to excell. Now that rivalry comes to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla for the first time ever, as Jack Evans will face CIMA on the second night of All Star Weekend 6. If CIMA is able to defeat Bryan Danielson on night one, his newly won Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Championship will be on the line in this match. Will that be what takes this international rivalry to a whole new level?

B-Boy Retirement Match – The Final Encounter: B-Boy vs. Super Dragon
Over the course of the last seven years, B-Boy and Super Dragon have battled countless times, sometimes against each other, sometimes by each other’s side. At All Star Weekend 6, these two Southern California trueborns will meet head to head for the final time. B-Boy has decided to end his professional wrestling career, and asked for one last match with Super Dragon to once and for all prove who is the better man. Dragon, who doesn’t respect many people, respects B-Boy enough to give him that last chance. B-Boy will only be appearing on the second night of All Star Weekend 6, and it will be his last ever Pro Wrestling Guerrilla appearance, so this truly is his final shot. B-Boy would like to end this rivalry with the upper hand, to end his career on a high note. But Super Dragon isn’t planning on going anywhere. As one half of the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Tag Team champions, can he afford to lose to B-Boy, especially if he can never avenge the loss? This historic rivalry has spanned the entire world, and it now comes full circle right where it began, in Southern California . On January 6, 2008, witness the final encounter between B-Boy and Super Dragon. Only at All Star Weekend 6. Only in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

Tag Team Match – Single Fall: Tyler Black & Jimmy Jacobs vs. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)
In this match up between two of the youngest and hottest teams in professional wrestling, the fans may be hard pressed to pick a favorite. Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs almost instantly became fan favorites after their first match in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla back at All Star Weekend IV. The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) have also been able to connect with the fans over the past few months, but they haven’t always matched that success inside the ring. At All Star Weekend 6, it will be up to the fans to decide which team to support in this match that will showcase four men who are future of not only Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, but professional wrestling itself.

International Dream Match – Single Fall: El Generico vs. Susumu Yokosuka
At the 2007 Battle of Los Angeles, Susumu Yokosuka was eliminated from the tournament in the first round, and that is something he has not been able to live down. All Star Weekend 6 is Yokosuka ‘s chance for redemption. On the first night, Yokosuka faces Super Dragon, a former Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Champion, and a victory there would push Yokosuka ‘s stock toward the sky. A victory over former world champion El Generico would send Yokosuka ‘s stock through the roof, and guarantee him a shot at whoever leaves All Star Weekend 6 as champion. But it’s important to remember that El Generico is a former world champion, and is looking to get back on the road to title. A victory over Yokosuka would definitely kickstart that process, but El Generico has a long way to go before he gets back to the top.

If Chris Hero’s team wins on night one:
No Disqualification Match, Kingston , Castagnoli banned from ringside: Human Tornado vs. Chris Hero

If Human Tornado’s team wins on night one:
Singles Match, Hero, Necro banned from ringside: Candice LaRae vs. Human Torando

After Commissioner Dino Winwood scheduled the Intergender 6-Person Grudge Match on Night One, Chris Hero demanded a No Disqualification match with Human Tornado, with Tornado’s newfound allies Claudio Castagnoli and Eddie Kingston banned from ringside. While Dino was happy to oblige the request, Human Tornado would only accept on one condition: he would receive a match with Candice LeRae in return. Dino could not, in good conscience, accept these terms, so he left it up to Commissioner of Food & Beverage Excalibur to broker a deal. While Excalibur considers himself to be a shrewd negotiator, without a personal stake in this match, he was more concerned with basketball scores than keeping Candice LeRae out of harm’s way, and that’s how this match ended up with these stipulations. Should the Israelis and Palestinians come calling, I don’t think Dino will be bringing Excalibur to the bargaining table.

Tag Team Match – Single Fall: Muscle Outlaw’z (Naruki Doi & Masato Yoshino) vs. Scott Lost & Joey Ryan
With the tag team title picture heating up here in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Scott Lost and Joey Ryan are looking to stay on the top of their game for their eventual shot at World Champions Davey Richards and Super Dragon. When Commissioner Winwood offered a match with the Muscle Outlaw’z on the second night of All Star Weekend 6 to Joey and Scott, they eagerly accepted, thinking they would be facing a pair of illiterate second graders. However, when he heard that Masato Yoshino was one half of the Muscle Outlaw’z, the color drained from Joey Ryan’s face and he nearly went into shock. This couldn’t be the same Masato Yoshino that ran laps around Joey, almost causing him to go into cardiac arrest? When Scott Lost heard that Naruki Doi was the other half of the Muscle Outlaw’z, and that was the actual name of the team that defeated he and Chris Bosh at DDT4, not just “those Japanese dudes,” Scott needed a minute to compose himself. Will Joey and Scott be able to pull it together at All Star Weekend 6, or will the Muscle Outlaw’z win this match via psychological warfare before they even hit the ring?

Singles Match – Single Fall: Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson vs. Alex Koslov
When word spread of Alex Koslov’s new attitude upon his return to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, former training partner TJ Perkins was quite upset. Here was a guy who is gone for over a year, comes back, and expects to be treated like a king. But where TJ Perkins sees rampant unprofessionalism, Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson sees opportunity. If he is able to take down former World Champion El Generico and Alex Koslov, one of the hottest wrestlers in Mexico today, in the same weekend, Karl Anderson would be the hottest commodity in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. A pair of wins for Anderson would put him in line for a shot at whoever leaves All Star Weekend 6 with the World Championship. However, Koslov intends to prove that he does not create opportunities for people like the “Machine Gun.” Alex Koslov creates opportunities for himself and himself alone.
