And we are off! The show kicks off with a pyro at the ring entrance area, as Excalibur welcomes us to the show. Taz and Tony Schiavone are also on commentary.

Excalibur runs down the lineup for tonight’s show.

We go to an earlier today, with Renee Paquette talking to MJF. If Darby wins tonight’s MJF has to sign a contract putting his hair on the line. MJF walks off and then runs into crew bald crew members backstage who mock him. He looks concerned and frustrated. Ricochet then tells MJF he will look great, but not as good as him.

The lights go out in venue as it looks like we have the 10-Man Tag spot monkey fest as our first match of the night. Tommaso Ciampa is out first, followed by The Dogs and now the AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR, with Stokley. They all make their way down to the ring.

Orange Cassidy is out next, followed by the Young Bucks, then Adam Copeland. Finally, the music of Christian Cage hits as he is out last.

These multi-tag matches can be challenging to keep up with.

10-Man Tag: Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Orange Cassidy and Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), Tommaso Ciampa and The Dogs (Clark Connors and David Finlay)

The bell rings as we get a big brawl. Matt Jackson and Clark Conners fight at ringside. Cassidy tosses Finlay into the barricade. In the ring, the camera focus on Copeland and Dax exchanging blows. Dax tosses Cassidy, who then fires back. Dax chops Cassidy. Dax and Orange are up on the top rope. Dax superplexes Cassidy. He then comes back with a stunt dog millionaire on Dax. Stokley grabs the boot of Cassidy, allowing Cash to get in a cheap shot. Cassidy is in the corner of the heels. Ciampa is in and he chops Cassidy, then kicks him down. Cassidy tries for a tag, but Ciampa cuts him off. Dax is tagged in, as he gives the middle finger to the fans. Cassidy makes the tag as Nick Jackson is in. He takes down FTR with a double drop kick. He then sends Dax to the outside with a kick. The Dogs are tagged in. Nick takes them down. The Bucks double bulldog The Dogs (no pun intended). Nick goes over the top rope, taking down FTR and Ciampa on the floor. The Bucks then focus on The Dogs, dropping them. Stokley grabs the legs of the Bucks, keeping them from superkicking The Dogs. Stokley is sent to the floor, the Bucks superkick FTR and the The Dogs. Ciampa comes in and is met with a superkick by the Bucks. Christian Cage is tagged in. The fans go wild. He takes down FTR, as the Bucks then superkick Wheeler. Cage covers Wheeler for only a two count…

-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-

Back from the break, Stokley is on commentary, talking about Cage trying to steal his watch earlier in the match. Cage is taken down, as he tries to tag in, but the heels pull the faces off the apron, to avoid Cage from tagging in. Cage looks for a killswitch on Dax, but both men collide heads and go down. Copeland makes it on the apron as he tagged in! He takes sends David Finlay to the outside. The then drops Clark Connors. The Bucks double Finlay. Copeland covers Connors for only a two count. The Bucks double team Connors in the corner. Cassidy then comes in and connects on Connors. Cage drops Ciampa and then FTR. The Bucks are up on the top rope and connect on FTR with big elbows. Copeland hits Connors with an elbow and covers him for only a two count. The Bucks leap over the ropes, landing on FTR. Cassidy puts Cage’s hands in his pockets. He then sends Cassidy to the floor to land on FTR for offense on the outside. Copeland is hit with a Shatter Machine by FTR. Cassidy breaks it up. Ciampa comes in, hitting Matt Jackson with a knee. He is then leveled with a killswitch by Cage. Connors then sends Cage to the floor! the Bucks and Cage superkick Connors. Cassidy then hits Connors with an Orange Punch. Copeland then connects with a big spear on Connors. Copeland covers Connors for the win.

Winners by pinfall: Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Orange Cassidy and Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson)

After the match, Cage is shown bleeding from his right eye. Cassidy holds a young fan at ringside dressed like him.

We go to a vignette with Will Ospreay training with the Death Riders.

Back from the break, we get a look at the history of the Stadium Stampede matches and the upcoming match at Double or Nothing.

We go backstage with Ricochet, Mark Davis and the Gates of Agony. Ricochet brings in Andrade who is now part of his team. The Dogs come in and are the final team for Ricochet’s group for Stadium Stampede.

Next up is Mike Bailey who is facing Westbrook. He is already in the ring.

The bell rings, as Bailey jaws at Westbrook. They shake hands, as Westbrook goes for a quick pin. Westbrook goes to the ropes and looks like he slipped. Bailey then kicks Westbrook, dropping him. Bailey comes off the top with double knees (Ultimate Weapon) on Westbrook to get the win.

Kevin Knight TNT Championship Open Challenge

Next up is the TNT Title Open Challenge. Justin Roberts introduces Kevin Knight who is already in the ring. The challenger – Brian Cage! After a 14-month hiatus from a knee injury, he makes his way down to the ring.

The bell rings, as Knight chops Cage, but its has no affect on him. Cage picks up Knight who tosses him, but Knight lands on his feet. Knight attempts a shoulder block, but Cage won’t go down. Cage connects with a big kick on the face of Knight. Cage sends Knight headfirst to the turnbuckle. Cage hits Knight with a shoulder block to the mid-section. Cage tosses Knight to the corner again. He hits Knight with a big forearm. Cage puts the boot to Knight’s neck. Cage throws Knight to the corner, then clotheslines him. Cage is up on the apron, as Knight drop kicks him to the floor. Knight goes to the floor, as Cage then goes to the ring, runs the ropes, connecting with Knight on the floor. Cage picks up Knight and drops him into the barricade…

Back from the break, Cage covers Knight for only a two-count. Knight pops up on Cage, but he catches him. Knight comes back with a spring board drop kick on Cage. Both men are down. Cage is sent to the floor. Knight runs the ropes, leaps over the ropes and is caught by Cage. Knight leaps up and takes down Cage. Knight picks up Cage and send him back in the ring. Mike Bailey kicks Lance Archer to avoid interference. Cage picks up Knight and drops him. Cage covers Knight for only a two count. Archer tries to choke slam Bailey, but he counters it, but then is still dropped by Archer. Knight DDTs Cage and covers him for only a two-count. Cage is up on the second rope. Knight gets caught and then picked up by Cage, but Knight reverses it, sending Cage down. Knight is up on the rope and connects with a huge UFO Splash to retain!

After the match, Mike Bailey grabs a mic and congratulates Knight on his win. Knight tells Bailey he is red hot and tells Cage welcome back as he leaves to the back. Knight starts talking about last, but Bailey stops him and says Knight is a future AEW World Champion. Knight says he appreciates the support of the fans and Bailey. Bailey then says he wants Takeshita, as they were rivals in Japan. Bailey then says he is coming after the AEW World Championship – calling out the winner of tonight’s title match.

Back from the break, the brackets are revealed for the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

We go backstage with Jack Perry addressing his loss to Mark Davis at last Saturday’s Fairway To Hell.

Back in the venue, the music of Will Ospreay hits, as his ovation is not as loud as normal. Next up, is Ace Austin, as he makes his way out and down to the ring.

Will Ospreay vs. Ace Austin

The bell rings, as we are underway. The fans sing Ospreay’s last name. Ospreay goes for a handshake. Ace gives a quick handshake. Ospreay grabs the arm of Ace, as Ace drops down, trying to break the hold, but Ospreay holds on. Ospreay takes down Ace, as Ace gets out of the hold. Both men lock up hands, as Ospreay pushes on Ace who fights back. Ace takes down Ospreay with a pinning attempt. Ace is flipped off by Ospreay. Ospreay stomps on the left elbow of Ace. Ospreay works on the arm and shoulder of Ace. Ospreay connects with a boot on the head of Ace. Ospreay is taken down by Ace. Ace connects with a neckbreaker on Ospreay. Ospreay comes back with an elbow, but Ace reverses it wrenching on the neck of Opsreay. He breaks out of the hold. Ace is kicked in the mid-section by Ospreay. Ace picks up Ospreay and drops him. Ace covers him for only a two count…

Back from the break, Ospreay hits Ace with an atomic drop. Ospreay covers Ace, but he kicks out at two. Ospreay attacks the left arm of Ace. Ace then comes back with elbow strikes and a spring kick. Ospreay then in mid-air sends Ace to the apron. Ace misses a kick on Ospreay, then leaps up and connects on Opsreay on the floor. Ace is back in the ring. Ospreay thrust kicks Ace’s left arm. Ospreay is up on the top and hits Ace in the back of the head. Ospreay drops Ace with a cutter. Ospreay covers Ace for only a two count. Ospreay goes for a hidden blade, but Ace ducks. Ace connects with a multiple standing lariats on Ospreay. Ace sends Ospreay down. Ospreay catches Ace and looks for a Styles clash, but Ace counters. Ace kicks Ospreay and picks him up and flatlines him. Ace covers Ospreay for only a two count. We get a “this is awesome” chant from the fans.

Ace lands rights on Ospreay, who then fights back. Both men are up on the second rope. Ospreay pop’s Ace’s elbow and Ospreay grabs Ace and drops him hard on the mat with a sit down powerbomb. Ospreay covers Ace for only a two count. Both men exchange chops, kicks and forearms. Ace mule kicks Ospreay, but he comes back with a rolling elbow strike. Ace comes off the ropes, kicking Ospreay. Ace goes for a stack the deck, but is wiped out with a hidden blade. Ospreay then connects with a running kick on Ace, who goes for an armbar, as Ace quickly taps out.

Winner by submission: Will Ospreay

After the match Ospreay goes to shake the hand of Ace. Both men shake hands, as Ospreay says something to Ace then points to him. Ace leaves the ring, as Ospreay stands in the ring. The music of Samoa Joe hits, as The Opps, minus Hook comes out. Joe has a mic. Joe mocks the “Ospreay” chants. The fans then sing Ospreay’s name. Joe says that in the fast few weeks, Ospreay has had a hard time hearing him. Joe talks about the two meeting in the first round of the Owen Hart Tournament. Joe says he chose differently and could have chosen to be with The Opps, but is a lap dog for Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. Joe says he will make Ospreay suffer the consequences. Shibata and Anthony Bowens head to the ring. The music of the Death Riders hit, as they make their way out from the crowd to join Ospreay in the ring. Bowens and Shibata back off, as Ospreay looks around. He then looks right at Jon Moxley.

We go to the back with Renee Paquette talking to Don Callis and Takeshita. MJF comes in to interrupt the interview and tells Takeshita that he is going to defeat Darby Allin tonight and will go to Double or Nothing to beat Okada. Callis thanks MJF for the pep talk, but MJF says he didn’t mean any of it because he is having a panic attack over possibly losing his hair. Andrade comes in and flips his hair at MJF. Callis says Takeshita will win tonight. Andrade asks him how he knows and says next time it is his turn. MJF gives Callis his Dynamite Diamond ring.

Back from the break, the brackets for the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

We go backstage with The Conglomeration. Kyle O’Reilly says he wants a shot at the Continental Championship. Roderick Strong calls in Mark Briscoe for to come in for the word for the day. Briscoe says its reunification. He then talks about Collision being in his home state and throws out a challenge to Tommaso Ciampa for next week’s Dynamite.

Back in the venue, the music of Triangle of Madness hits, as they make their way out and down to the ring. Next up, the music of Hikaru Shida, who makes her way out, followed by The Brawling Birds.

Trios Match: Triangle of Madness (Skye Blue, Julia Hart and Thekla) vs. Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter) and Hikaru Shida

The bell rings, as Hayter and Thekla start things off. Blue attacks Hayter from behind, as we have all six women in the ring. Shida drops Thekla, sending her to the floor. Shida and Blue are on the outside…Hayter lays rights into Thekla on the apron. Hayter snap suplexes Thekla in the center of the ring. Blue and Windsor are on top of the barricade. Hayter is down. Windsor and Hayter pick up Blue and send her face first into the ring post. Thekla then flies over the ropes, taking down the Birds.

-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-

Back from the break, Blue and Thekla take down the Birds. Thekla leaps over Hayter and drops Thekla with a high boot. Shida is tagged in. He connects with a big knee on Thekla and then hits Hart, who was then tagged in. Thekla is tagged back in. Shida suplexes Thekla. Shida is hit in the mid-section by Thekla. She hits Shida in the jaw. Hart and Blue double team Shida with thrust kicks. Thekla spears Shida and covers her, but the Birds make the save. Windsor is tagged in. He hits Thekla in the back of the head and drops her with a short lariat. Hatyer is pulled to outside by Blue and sent head first into the ring post. Hayter recovers and hits a back breaker on Blue. Hart is dropped with a big powerbomb, as Hart is legal. Blue tags herself in Windsor headbutts Blue. Hayter and Windsor sandwich Blue. Thekla comes in and uses the women’s title belt to nail Hayter in the head. Blue locks up Windsor. Hart sprays mist in the faces of the officials. Shida leaves the ring. Thunder Rosa, Mina Shirakawa and Willow Nightingale run down to make the save.

Back from the break, its main event time. First up, the challenger – Konosuke Takeshita who makes his way out with Don Callis. Next up, the AEW World Champion Darby Allin, who makes his way out and down to the ring. Callis is on commentary for this match.

AEW World Championship Match: Darby Allin defends against Konosuke Takeshita

The bell rings, as Darby drop kicks Takeshita, sending him to the floor Takeshita then sends Takeshita to the floor. Allin is back up on the apron, but Takeshita kicks him in the face, dropping him to the floor. Allin is back in the ring. Takeshita covers him for only a two count. Takeshita kicks Allin who is down on the mat. Takeshita grabs him and tosses him into the corner. Allin is bleeding from the mouth. Takeshita picks up Allin who then bites Takeshita and fights him off. Allin comes down and bounces off Takeshita. Allin is picked up and dropped hard on his back by Takeshita. Allin rolls to the floor. Takeshita goes to the floor and hits Allin with knee strikes. Takeshita sends Allin into the barricade. Takeshita looks for a belly to belly into the steel steps, but Allin blocks in. Takeshita goes for a running knee, but Allin moves and then drop kicks Takeshita. Allin runs the ropes and comes through the second rope, as both men crash into the announce table. Both men are up on the apron. Allin goes for a coffin drop, but is caught by Takeshita, who slams him on the floor with a blue thunder bomb!

-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-

Back from the break, we get a replay of the blue thunder bomb to the floor. Allin has Takeshita locked up. He breaks the hold, as Allin headbutts Takeshita. Darby looks for a code red, but picks up Allin, drives him down and then drops him with a wheelbarrow German Suplex. Takeshita connects on Allin with a running knee to the face. Both men are up on the top rope. Takeshita German Supelexes Allin off the top! Takeshita covers Allin who won’t stay down! He kicks out at two! Takeshita drives a huge knee into the face of Allin and covers him, but again, Allin won’t stay down! Allin kicks out at two. El Clon comes down to the ring to distract the ref. Callis hands the Dynamite Diamond ring to Takeshita. Takeshita thinks about it and then tosses it. Allin rolls up Takeshita for only a two count. Takeshita hits Allin with an elbow strike. Takeshita puts Allin up on the top rope. Allin fights off Takeshita and drops him a Code Red, then a last supper. Allin covers Takeshita for only a two count! Takeshita rolls to the floor. Allin connects on Takeshita with a huge coffin drop on the outside! Allin is pulled back to the floor by Takeshita after trying to get into the ring. Takeshita pulls Allin up on the steel steps. Allin reverses it and drops Takeshita with a scorpion death drop on the steps!

Allin rolls back in the ring, as the fans chant his name. Allins connects with a big coffin drop on Takeshita on the floor. Allin rolls Takeshita back in the ring and covers him or only a two count. Allin comes off with another coffin drop, but Takeshita gets the knees up. Takeshita tries for a pin, as Allin reverses it with a scorpion death lock! Takeshita forces a break, but Allin connects with two coffin drops and covers Takeshita for the three count to retain!

Winner by pinfall and still AEW World Champion: Darby Allin

After the match, the ref checks on Allin. He has a mic and calls for his music to be cut. Allin calls for MJF to come out as there is a contract they need to sign. The ringside crew brings in a table and two chairs to the ring. MJF’s music hits, as he walks slowly to the ring.

MJF goes to the table as Darby makes his way to his feet, still bleeding from the mouth. The fans chant “bald.” MJF picks up a pen and then goes to sign the contract and pulls back. The fans start chanting “bald” again. MJF still can’t sign the contract. He grabs a mic and tells MJF he is happy for him and hopes he has had fun holding his world title…MJF says a small part of him will never hold it again…MJF says Darby is a stunt man that burns the candle at both ends. MJF says the only thing that matters is a legacy. MJF says the fans will pretend like Darby made an impact, but he hasn’t. The fans will know deep down Allin was a little pr–k that got lucky. MJF says that after Double or Nothing he will go down as a three time AEW World Champion, the greatest of all time. Darby brags about climbing a mountain top – when its comes to pro wrestling, MJF is the mountain top. Darby tells MJF to shut up and he lives in the moment and sign the contract and at Double or Nothing he will make MJF a bald headed b—tch. MJF signs the contract, then cheap shots Darby. MJF clears the ring and then levels Darby with the Dynamite Diamond ring. MJF takes off his jacket and picks up the world title and holds it high above Darby, tosses it on Darby and leaves the ring.

MJF stops and then comes back in the ring and picks up Darby and sets him up on the top rope. MJF goes to tombstone Allin, but Kevin Knight runs into makes the save. Darby’s music hits as Knight makes sures Darby is okay and helps him to his feet, as the show goes off the air.
