—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Backstage, The Young Bucks cut a promo about how great they are. Brandon Cutler tries to interject something but gets cut off and the Bucks continue to brag. They talk about all the teams they’ve beaten and next week Eddie Kingston and Penta are next. He says they are just singles wrestlers that got thrown together and they aren’t a real team. They say that EVP stands for “extremely violent people.” If Penta and Kingston win next week then they get a shot at the titles.

Tony Schiavone is standing in the ring with Tully Blanchard. Konnan comes out to his Impact LAX theme. Tully says the last time he saw Konnan he was trying to interfere in a situation with FTR in a bar room but because Konnan is a “legend” he will let him talk first.

Konnan says he won’t be intimidated and neither will PNP. He says FTR has claimed they had the same upbringing as PNP but says they are from North Carolina, “where men are men and the sheep are scared.” Konnan says it isn’t the same growing up in North Carolina and growing up on the streets of NYC and even brings up how people of color are incarcerated at a much higher rate than whites. He also talks about the struggles that Santana went through with the death of his father and says that after that he approached Konnan about returning by their side.

Konnan says something in Spanish and says that Tully should probably learn it because he’s going to have some grandchildren that speak it (Tessa Blanchard is in a relationship with luchador Daga). Tully says he knows all about Spanish and knows all about Konnan and it’s clear Konnan doesn’t know who he is dealing with. Tully says that FTR will flatten Konnan and end him.

Konnan says when everything is said and done Tully will be glad to know that Wal mart will still be hiring greeters when they run him out. Konnan says he knew that FTR might make a threat like that so he has his boys standing by. PNP in bandanas come out and stand behind him but Tully says that Konnan should probably take a look at the big screen where Santana and Ortiz are laid out. The guys in the ring take off their bandanas revealing they are FTR and beat Konnan down. They hit the Spike Piledriver on Konnan!
