Homicide defeated Brother Ray by Disqualification: Just as Homicide was about to score the pin, Brother Devon ran down and whacked Homicide with a kendo stick! Devon started to set up a table, but Hernandez hit the ring to help his partner. Booker T showed up and super-kicked Hernandez – so he was the guy who Team 3-D made a deal with behind the door. Team 3-D and Booker T continued to assault LAX until both of them were bloodied. Brother Ray looked into the camera and yelled death threats at Hector Guerrero.

KNOCKOUTS MATCH
Angelina Love w/Velvet Sky defeated ODB: ODB was in control, but Velvet used ODB’s own flask to knock her out and allow Angelina to win. After the match, The Beautiful People tried to cut ODB’s hair, but Roxxi Laveaux made the save. Roxxi was about to cut Angelina’s hair off, but the referee grabbed the sheers. Angelina slipped out of the ring and referee Rudy Charles got a Voodoo-drop from Roxxi!

IN THE RING
TNA World champion Samoa Joe & mentor Kevin Nash: Samoa Joe was out to pick four wrestlers to compete in King of the Mountain Qualifying matches. Joe first chose “The Phenomenal” A.J. Styles, then added “The War Machine” Rhino and “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage. Joe started describing his final pick, and Kevin Nash looked like he thought it was going to be him, but Joe instead named Booker T! Kevin Nash asked how he was supposed to watch Joe’s back if he’s not in the match. Joe said that the fans pay to see him do it on his own. Nash said he has a problem with people who don’t know how to do what they’re told.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Jeremy Borash & Kurt Angle & Frank Trigg: Kurt Angle asked Frank Trigg if he wanted to go out for drinks later. Trigg said Angle should probably spend the night with Karen. Kurt said she will be busy cleaning the house and doing laundry tonight. By the way, Borash conducted this interview while Angle and Trigg were standing at urinals in the bathroom.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Lauren & “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt + The Rock & Rave Infection with Christy Hemme: The Rock & Rave Infection wanted to audition to perform at the Jay/Val wedding. They started to sing but it was all lipsinced and they started argueing and fighting.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Lauren & Robert Roode: Robert Roode complained that it’s taken this long for Jim Cornette to realize that he is the future of the company. Roode said the powers that be have finally realized that there is nothing they can do to hold him down any longer. Roode talked about his King of the Mountain Qualifying match with Matt Morgan.

KING OF THE MOUNTAIN QUALIFYING MATCH
Robert Roode defeated Matt Morgan:

VIDEO PACKAGE
Eric Young: Eric Young was making his way towards Memphis, looking for Elvis Presley – and has promised to bring Elvis to Slammiversary.

IN THE RING
Kurt Angle + Karen Angle: Kurt Angle came out and called out Karen Angle – and the fans chanted “Karan Styles clap clap clapclapclap.” Kurt Angle said as long as Karen knows that the TNA World title comes first then everything will be okay. Karen broke down and said she wanted a divorce. Kurt said “don’t say the D-word” and promised that he could change and be the man Karen wants him to be. Karen said Kurt was not capable for change. Kurt snapped and asked if Karen was seeing someone else, specifically A.J. Styles. Karen said there was nothing between her and A.J., and he was just there for her recently. Kurt got down on one knees and begged for forgiveness, but Karen dropped the microphone and walked out on her husband.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Jeremy Borash & Awesome Kong & Raesha Saed: Jeremy Borash told Kong and Saed that the company wouldn’t allow Kong to wrestle fans. Saed said they will get the fan to sign a release form so the company won’t be liable. Borash said Jim Cornette wouldn’t go for it, so Kong slammed Borash against the wall!

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Lauren & A.J. Styles + Tomko: Lauren said there was a lot of controversy surrounding A.J. Styles, with Kurt Angle suspecting something going on between he and Karen, and Tomko being upset that Styles found another partner while he (Tomko) was gone. Tomko showed up and bullied A.J. Styles, and Styles fired back. Tomko shook A.J.’s hand and said he can be his own man by himself.

SIT-DOWN INTERVIEW
Mike Tenay & Sting: Mike Tenay asked Sting if he’s been in contact with Jeff Jarrett, who has taken a year off from TNA due to personal issues. Sting talked about Jeff losing his wife and looking after his three daughters. Sting remembered that Jeff Jarrett thought he (Sting) and Helwig (Warrior) were “freaks from California.”

$25,000 CHALLENGE
Awesome Kong w/Raesha Saed defeated “Melissa the fan”: Jeremy Borash asked for volunteers who want to try to win $25,000 and some fan naved “Melissa” from Erie, Pennsylvania answered the challenge.  It was a wrestling trainee named “Leva Bates.”  She is obviously a wrestler, but I don’t recognize her. Melissa was forced to sign a release form, relieving TNA of all liability. Kong (wo)man-handled the poor girl and destroyed her with an Awesome-bomb (Melissa’s smashed herself in the face with her knee!)

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Lauren & Team 3-D (Brothers Ray & Devon) + Booker T:

KING OF THE MOUNTAIN QUALIFYING MATCH
Booker T defeated A.J. Styles: Tomko came down and grabbed Styles’ leg as he was going for a Spring-board. Styles crashed and burned and Booker T nailed the Book-end for the tainted victory. After the match, A.J. Styles shoved Tomko and they had to be held apart as the show went to a commercial break.

IN THE RING
Tomko & A.J. Styles: The former World Tag Team champion partners started to fight until Team 3-D showed up to help Tomko. Styles briefly fought Tomko, Team 3-D and Booker T but the numbers were far too much. Tomko punched Styles in the head with a chain wrapped around his fist! Styles was busted open, and all four heels took turns taking shots at him. Why doesn’t anybody help the Phenomenal One? Eventually Karen Angle trotted down to the ring and covered the bloodied A.J. Styles to protect him from the onslaught. Karen slapped Brother Ray, so he shoved her down and she retreated backstage. The heels continued the beat-down until Karen returned with Kurt Angle swinging a chair. Kurt held off the heels until he saw Karen literally laying on top of A.J. Styles, and she was covered in Styles’ blood. The heels stirred the pot, and Kurt Angle ended up brutally smashing Styles in the head with a steel chair!!
