IN THE RING
A.J. Styles & Samoa Joe + the troops + The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) + The Main Event Mafia (Sting & Kurt Angle & Kevin Nash & Booker T w/Sharmell): A.J. Styles said he was glad Mick Foley was there, but said “thanks, but no thanks, we’re going to fight this war on our own!” Styles said he has fought for TNA since the beginning and grown with TNA. Styles addressed the Main Event Mafia; Sting, Kevin Nash, Kurt Angle, and Booker T. Styles said three of those names were partially responsible for one company going out of business. Styles said the fans saw Joe & A.J. bleeding in HD (High Definition) last week and people in the back who are “like family” didn’t come out from the back to help them. Styles asked if any of those people have the balls to CROSS THE LINE and come out there to stand with he and Joe. “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal answered the call, followed by Conseqences Creed, Petey Williams, ODB, and Eric Young. Joe started to talk to his troops, until he was interrupted by the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin). Shelley said he couldn’t help but notice all these sheep about to get brain-washed by Samoa Joe. Shelley asked Joe to sell him one more time on why they should fight this war with him. Joe said it wasn’t his war, or A.J.’s war, it’s all of their war – either they are in or out. Shelley said he’s not fighting, and suggested that the others not fight either. Joe ended up slapping Shelley across the face and Sabin held Shelley back. The Main Event Mafia came out to the stage wearing really expensive suits. Kurt Angle looked down in the ring and said all the wrestlers are a disgrace to the wrestling business and a disgrace to TNA. Angle said they were not a family, then looked at the Main Event Mafia around him, calling them a family. Angle cited over 75 years of experience that demands respect. Angle said they didn’t ask for this war, and all they wanted was a thank you. Kevin Nash said he tried to teach Joe how to act towards the stars and Joe spit in his face. Nash claimed that Scott Hall didn’t show up at the PPV because Joe wasn’t worth the rub (carny talk). Nash said if they wanted a war then they got a war. Booker T called the young guys a bunch of bums because of the way they were dressed. Booker said that the war would start tonight and by the end of the war there won’t be any of them left. Booker T said that it was all about the five, causing Mike Tenay & Don West to assume the Main Event Mafia would get a fifth member tonight.

BACKSTAGE INTRVIEW
Jeremy Borash & Jeff Jarrett + Mick Foley: Jeff Jarrett said Joe & Styles don’t want him to fight their battles, they want this war and they are ready for it. Mick Foley showed up and said he would go out there and improvised a little bit tonight and have a heart to heart with his buddy Sting. Jarrett said he had to “go take a Kurt,” and Foley laughed and said “don’t forget to whipe your Angle!”

Lauren Brooke & The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky & Angelina Love w/Cute Kip): Velvet & Angelina harassed Lauren, saying the people at home can see all of her pimples in HD tonight. Angelina cut a promo on Christy Hemme for going all psycho lately and wanting to fight everybody. Angelina said Hemme had an over-botoxed doggy-face and the ring is no place for her unless it is for a make-over. Velvet Sky called ODB a “dude” and a “tranny” claiming she OD’d on ugly pills.

Sabin said they understand what Joe is trying to do for TNA, and told him “we’re in.” Joe said when shots are fired, we’ll see who’s firing back.

BACKSTAGE INTRVIEW
Jeremy Borash & Eric Young: Eric Young said he’s been with TNA for five years and now his job and his dreams are on the line. He said it was time to show the world who the real Eric Young is. He said he would be in the trenches with Samoa Joe & A.J. Styles tonight.

BACKSTAGE INTRVIEW
Jeremy Borash & Awesome Kong & Reisha Saeed + Roxxi Laveaux & Taylor Wilde: Jeremy Borash tried to interview Awesome Kong when Roxxi & Taylor burst in and beat the crap out of Kong & Saeed! They even threw Kong back-first into the lockers just as Spike TV cut to commercial.

TAG TEAM MATCH
The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi & Volador Jr.: TNA X-Division champion Sheik Abdul Bashir joined on commentary for the match, although I’m not sure why, unless they are building up the Sheik vs. Tanahashi for a future title match. After the Guns won the match, the Sheik stood up and yelled in protest before kicking his chair over. The Sheik entered the ring and confronted the masked Volador for losing the match. Rhino showed up and GOREd the Sheik!!!

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Lauren Brooke & Christian Cage: Christian accepted Booker T’s challenge for a match at Final Resolution for the Legend’s title and agreed to the stipulation that he would join the Main Event Mafia if he lost the match. Lauren Brooke & Matt Morgan & Abyss: Abyss said he was fine after suffering burns at No Surrender, claiming it was just a flesh wound. Matt Morgan said Abyss was not mentally or physically ready for a match with Kurt Angle. Abyss said he didn’t forget what Angle did to him two weeks ago.

BACKSTAGE INTRVIEW
Jeremy Borash & TNA World champion Sting: Sting (no face paint) said nobody has officially confirmed to him that Mick Foley is his boss. Sting said he is going to open a door tonight, and hopes that Foley doesn’t try to close it.

IN THE RING
Mick Foley + TNA World champion Sting: They are calling Mick Foley an “Executive Shareholder” in TNA – now that’s a new one! Foley talked about the new HD set, and basically took credit for all of it after being on the job for only a week. Foley announced two matches for Turning Point; Kevin Nash vs. Samoa Joe and Sting vs. A.J. Styles! Foley then asked if he could have a word with TNA champion Sting. Sting came out in a suit and no face paint. Foley said that he believes that it was Sting who put Cactus Jack on the map years ago. Foley said that Sting has his respect as a wrestler and as a man, which is why it hurt to see Sting standing with the Main Event Mafia. Foley asked “why Sting, why?” Foley said they were all on the verge of something very big in TNA. Foley said as a veteran champion, it is Sting’s job to be the glue that holds all of the pieces together. Foley said Sting wasn’t acting like glue, but he is acting like a wedge driving all the parts apart. Sting said he wanted to be the glue in TNA, and had all of the same intentions as Mick Foley. Sting said that respect is the missing ingredient in TNA and if Foley isn’t careful the next generation is going to disrespect him too. Foley said they will have to agree to disagree and it’s clear that Sting is going to do what he needs to do – and he (Foley) will do what he needs to do too. Sting said he understands, but “this is not your war, it’s mine.”

MAIN EVENT
Abyss defeated Kurt Angle by DQ: Kurt Angle just snapped and assaulted Abyss by ripping off his shirt and raking his finger nails over Abyss’s burns. Angle put Abyss in the Anklelock until Matt Morgan made the save. Morgan kicked Abyss in the head and continued his attack until Booker T & Kevin Nash came down to help Angle. Nash whacked Morgan with a chair and then whacked Abyss and proceeded to choke him out! Finally Joe, Styles, Young, Creed, Lethal, Williams, Sabin, and Shelley hit the ring! Scott Steiner showed up from behind and cracked all of the TNA originals with a lead pipe and joined the Main Event Mafia! Sting walked to the ring and directed traffic as the veterans destroyed the new generation wrestlers! A.J. Styles spit in Sting’s face, so Sting dropped him with a Scorpion Death Drop!
