Abyss said he can’t lose the match though, and Dr. Stevie said that was all the time they had for this week…

PROMO: Spend the night with ODB. They showed videos sent in by fans saying why they deserve to spend the night with ODB. This is a goofy gimmick, but it is 100% worked and they already have a winner chosen and it will be how they introduce a new wrestler.

Joe threatened Steiner warning him about the nation of violence and then quickly made his escape.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Jeremy Borash & Jeff Jarrett: Jeff Jarrett said whenever you had a bunch of egomaniacs united you will also have a problem. Jarrett said wrestling is, and always has been, an individual sport, and no team ever stayed together. Jarrett said it was only a matter of time before the Mafia’s selfishness tore them apart.

HARDCORE HISTORY 101: Mick Foley talked about his “greatest” match being against Shawn Michaels in 1996. Foley said that answer changed in 2004 when he teamed with the Rock at WrestleMania 20 and then got a second chance to make a last impression in a Hardcore match with Randy Orton. Foley praised Orton and said until he can top that match in April 2004, it will be his personal favorite hardcore memory.

IN THE RING
Mike Tenay & The Main Event Mafia (Kurt Angle & Sting & Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner & Booker T w/Sharmell) + Jeff Jarrett: Mike Tenay asked if it was going to be Sting vs. Angle for the World Heavyweight championship at Destination X. Kevin Nash stepped up and grabbed the microphone and said he was elected to speak on behalf of the the Mafia. Nash said when the Mafia formed they knew it wouldn’t be easy. Nash said they patched up their differences and they are a family. Tenay said he didn’t feel that vibe. Nash said Tenay was just trying to stir it up and said Tenay works for Jeff Jarrett & Mick Foley. Nash said Jarrett worked Sting and Angle last week and they killed each other. Nash said together they were stronger than everything including the front office. Nash said Kurt and Sting don’t have to love each other, but begged them to respect Scotty, Book, Sharmell, himself and most importantly respect the Mafia. Nash said if they do that they cannot beat us! Jeff Jarrett came out to the ring and said Sting wasn’t buying this crap for one minute! Jarrett said Sting stands on a platform about honor, dignity, tradition, and integrity. Jarrett asked “where the hell is the integrity after one of your brothers spit in your face?” Jarrett said Angle and Sting were polar opposites and there was only one thing to do – LET THEM FIGHT! Jarrett said he would grant Angle’s wish and booked Sting vs. Kurt Angle for the TNA World Heavyweight title at Destination X! Booker T protested and questioned Jarrett’s authority. Booker T said Jarrett “founded” a company full of nobodies and said without the Main Event Mafia there would be no TNA. Booker T threatened to kick Jarrett’s ass and was held back by other members of the Mafia. Jarrett said he gave every once of blood and sweat for TNA and said these people (the fans) are his family, and his family wants to see Sting vs. Angle for the title! Jarrett said they will make it official tonight with a contract signing…

RINGSIDE: Don West suddenly turned on Mike Tenay and told him to go backstage and kiss Sting’s ass some more. West got up and talked on the house microphone, saying he and Tenay have been best friends for seven years and called every single TNA match. West explained that TNA recently held some meetings and one of the topics discussed was his future as a TNA commentator. West claimed Tenay did not speak up and defend his best friend at these meetings. West called Tenay a selfish prick and doesn’t have the balls to do the right thing. West said their friendship will never be the same, and proclaimed that Tenay can take the microphone and shove it up his ass!

TNA KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM MATCH

Khan challenged Kong & Raisha to come out right now! It was a gritty tag team match ending with Bolt pinned Saed, but Kong destroyed both Bolt & Khan after the match!

HIGHLIGHT REEL: Ultimate X Match

IN THE RING (CONTRACT SIGNING)
Jeff Jarrett + The Main Event Mafia (Kurt Angle & Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner & Booker T w/Sharmell) + Mick Foley + Sting: Jeff Jarrett came out first with a contract in one hand and a guitar in the other hand. Jarrett called out Kurt Angle, calling him a “former Olympic Gold medalist.” Angle came out surrounded by Mafia security and Mafia members Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Booker T, and Sharmell. Nash spoke for the Mafia and said this match was not going to happen. Jarrett asked Kurt who the boss was supposed to be. Jarrett said he thought Kurt was supposed to be the Godfather, and said usually the thugs stand behind the Godfather. Jarrett said it was blatantly obvious that there is a big difference between Kurt and the real Godfathers – they had balls and Kurt doesn’t! Jarrett handed Angle the contract and he thought about it for a while. Angle eventually signed it, but then smashed Jarrett in the head with the clipboard! Angle bashed Jarrett until Mick Foley ran down and the Main Event Mafia backed off. Foley tried to check on Jarrett, but he was attacked from behind Kurt Angle put Foley in the Ankle-lock! Sting finally showed up and bashed Angle in the leg with his trademark baseball bat! Angle sold it like he was knocked out cold. Sting helped Jeff Jarrett up to his feet, and then helped Mick Foley up to his feet. Jarrett handed Sting the contract and Sting signed it to make the match official as the Main Event Mafia members looked on front ringside. Sting dropped the clipboard on the unconcious body of Kurt Angle. I’ve never seen a man get knocked out cold from a shot to the leg. Foley had a big grin on his face and the fans did the “we’re not worthy” gesture during Sting’s departure.
