New Champions Kick Off IMPACT!

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are in the ring to address their historic singles championship victories at Against All Odds. Shelley is now IMPACT World Champion for the very first time after defeating Steve Maclin and Sabin is a record-setting 9-time X-Division Champion after defeating Trey Miguel. Sabin thought it was all a dream until he woke up this morning and reality set in. Shelley talks about finally winning “the big one” after mentoring countless of wrestling’s top stars to do the same. Shelley thanks thanks the fans, the locker room and everyone who has helped raise him in this industry. Shelley ushers in the “Machine Gun” era of IMPACT Wrestling when Nick Aldis interrupts. Aldis will challenge Shelley for the IMPACT World Title at Slammiversary after winning the first-ever 8-4-1 match at Against All Odds. Aldis apologizes for the interruption and congratulates Shelley on his accomplishment. Aldis thanks Shelley for pulling him up when he was just a rookie in IMPACT Wrestling – but he’s going to do everything in his power to ensure he leaves Slammiversary as IMPACT World Champion. Former X-Division Champion Trey Miguel interrupts, followed by Kenny King and Sheldon Jean as they accuse Shelley, Sabin and Aldis of being “front office favorites”. Things are about to get physical when Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans and Jai Vidal interrupt. Shaw says that IMPACT rolled out the red carpet for Trinity, just like they did for Aldis and the Guns. Trinity is out next as she fires back at Shaw. Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo enters the fray and tensions are rising. Director of Authority Santino Marella comes out and makes tonight’s main event official: Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Nick Aldis, Deonna Purrazzo and Trinity vs Trey Miguel, Kenny King, Sheldon Jean, Gisele Shaw & Savannah Evans in an all-star 5-on-5 tag team match.

An enraged Steve Maclin reveals that he will receive his IMPACT World Title rematch against Alex Shelley on Friday, June 30th at the Down Under Tour in Australia.

Moose vs Rich Swann

After being unable to coexist in the first-ever 8-4-1 match at Against All Odds, Rich Swann and Moose renew their epic rivalry tonight! Swann jumps off the apron but Moose catches him in mid-air and drives him into the hardest part of the ring and the steel guardrail. The brawl continues on the outside as Moose delivers a series of chops. Moose crashes and burns in the corner, allowing Swann to build momentum. Swann hits a tornado DDT to create some much-needed separation. Moose leaps up to the top rope and hits a thunderous Superplex. Moose catches him in mid-air with a cutter, followed by a Handspring Cutter for two. Moose bounces back with a powerbomb for a near fall of his own. Swann counters the spear into a pinning predicament to win.

Heath warns the IMPACT roster not to sleep on him and vows to give them all a Wake Up Call.

Brian Myers admits that he wasn’t able to lead The Good Hands to victory against IMPACT World Tag Team Champions ABC. Myers approaches Moose and thinks they have what it takes to get the job done.

Bully Ray Addresses the IMPACT Zone

Bully Ray has filed an official complaint with Anthem Sports & Entertainment after IMPACT President Scott D’Amore cost him the 8-4-1 match at Against All Odds with a steel chair assault. Bully calls himself a “victim” and says that his mental health is declining since the incident. Bully demands answers when D’Amore interrupts. D’Amore says that he spoke to the Board of Directors and admitted that his actions were unbecoming of President. The board also advised that D’Amore take a leave of absence as President. D’Amore then takes Bully Down and lays in a series of fists. Steve Maclin appears out of nowhere and attacks D’Amore. Maclin is about to do some serious damage with a steel chair when PCO makes the save. Bully and Maclin assault him with steel chairs but he powers through. PCO joins forces with D’Amore to send Bully and Maclin retreating up the ramp. D’Amore announces that at Slammiversary, it’s him and PCO vs Bully and Maclin in a tag team match.
