Countdown to Rebellion (Pre-Show): Elijah defeated Shane Haste of TDMK

Main Card (8:00 pm ET)

We go right to an outside of Los Angeles with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary.

Ilona opens the evening with the National Anthem. The feed glitched a bit on my end. Next is an intro package for TNA Rebellion hyping up tonight’s event.

We now go back inside the arena for the 11th consecutive sell-out for a pay-per-view event.

Matt Cardona comes out first, followed by KC Navarro with AJ Francis. Sidney Akeem comes out next, followed by Leon Slater. AAA star El Hijo del Vikingo is out next and geta big ovation. He comes out with two kids – Mikey and Jackson. Finally, the reigning and defending champion, Moose is out last, as the lights in the arena go down. Moose is on the smoke filled stage with Alisha Edwards. The champion makes his way down to the ring.

TNA X-Division Championship Ultimate X Match: Moose defends against El Hijo del Vikingo, Matt Cardona, KC Navarro, Leon Slater and Sidney Akeem

This will be a wild match that I will do my best to keep up with…

The bell rings and we are underway! We start off with a big brawl and a big TNA chant. Cardona and Moose ail Vikingo, Slater and Akeem with chairs. Moose picks up Cardona and drops him with a powerbomb. Moose is standing on chair, but is dropped by a cutter by Vikingo. Vikingo goes to the top and lands on KC. Vikingo goes after KC, but he moves and takes down Vikingo. KC goes to the top, but Akeem pushes him off. Akeem kicks Cardona, but then get hit by a lariat with Cardona. Slater drops Cardona with a big back elbow, sending him to the floor. Moose is back in ring. Leon sends him to the floor. Slater leaps over the ropes and is caught by Moose, but drops him on the ramp…KC runs the ropes and hits the floors. Akeem goes to the top rope and comes off with a big moonsault, landing on all the other competitors. Akeem is up on the tress. Moose goes up and grabs Akeem and then tosses him onto the other competitors who are on the outside.

Moose tells Alisha to climb the tress and the ropes to get the title for him. She starts making her way up and is on the ropes. She loses her grip and Moose catches her. Slater kicks Moose, as he goes down and Alisha rolls to the floor…Slater is on the ropes going for the belt, but Vikingo comes off the top rope and drop kicks Slater to the mat…KC Navarro is on the second rope and sends Akeem to the floor. Vikingo is then sent to the mat. KC climbs the cables and makes his way to the belt, but Slater grabs him and is dropped with a cutter by KC. Navarro nails Cardona with a big boot to the face. Navarro climbs the tress and goes to the rope, but Cardona brings him down, sending him to the floor. Cardona is up, but Akeem comes in and sends him to the floor. Akeem tries to make his way to the belt…he falls down on Moose in the center of the ring.

Akeem climbs back up, but he is stopped by Navarro. Slater, Navarro, Vikingo and Slater are on the second turnbuckle…Slater goes down…Vikingo hits Slater with a destroyer on the apron! AJ Francis hits the ring and chokeslams Vikingo to a series of boos. Francis has KC on his shoulders. Moose then spears Francis as Navarro gets dropped by Moose…Cardona takes out Moose, then Slater comes back and takes out Cardona. Slater climbs the truss and looks around. He continues to climb and is at the top of the truss. Slater comes down with a huge 450 Swanton on all the competitors on the floor! Everyone is down! Slater is back up and is on the cable, making his way to the belt. He has the title in one hand…he drops to the mat and is speared by Moose. Slater lets go of the title and Moose then grabs it to retain.

We go to a video package with Joe Hendry making his WWE WrestleMania debut, losing to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41 Sunday. They show clips of fans and other podcast shows reactions to Hendry’s debut at WrestleMania. We then go to footage of Joe Hendry appearing on NXT.

Arianna Grace who is the liaison between NXT and TNA will be on commentary for this next match.

Up first is Spitfire, followed by NXT’s Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley. The lights go out as NXT’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson come out next. The person Concierge for Asha and Heather by Elegance comes out and calls the fans losers and tells the fans to shut up. He then introduces Ash and Heather that come out dressed like playboy bunnies.

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way Match: Ash and Heather by Elegance defends against NXT’s Lash Legend and Jakara JacksonJody Threat and Dani Luna (Spitfire) and NXT’s Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley

The bell rings as the two NXT teams drop kick one another. As the ref gains control, Heather and Tatum start off. Luna is a tagged in. Luna hits Tatum in the mid-section. Threat is tagged in and hits Tatum with a running clothesline. Luna covers Tatum for only a two count. Tatum comes back and drop kicks Luna. Dolin is tagged in. She covers Luna who kicks out at two. Luna is tripped up by Ash and pulls her to the floor. Tatum takes out Spitfire with a twisting moonsault off the top. Legend and Jackson then take out all the other competitors on the floor. Gigi covers Jackson, but she kicks out at two. Heather rolls up Jackson, but she kicks out at two.

Jackson comes back and drops Heather. Jackson tags in Legend, but Luna then hits Legend from behind. Spitfire have Heather held up in a stalling suplex. They drop her to the mat. Luna picks up Ash who comes in and slams her down. Threat is caught in the ropes…Tatum is nailed with a big right hand by Legend. Tatum is up on the shoulders of Jackson. She powerbombs Tatum and covers her, but the tag champs break it up. Tatum tags in Luna as Ash is in. Luna chops Ash and then picks her up and spins her before dropping her with a huge powerbomb. Luna covers her, but Jackson breaks it up…Tatum takes down Spitfire…Heather is in. Ash is up on the top rope…Maggie Lee comes in the ring and protects Ash who then comes down threat from the top rope and covers her to retain.

We go to a backstage vignette with Elijah.

The System are introduced first, as the faction make their way to the ring with Alisha Edwards.

Next is up Ace Austin, as he makes his way out to the stage. The lights go out, as Rascalz come out next to a big ovation. Sean Waltman is out next to big ovation from the LA fans. The Rascalz pay homage to DX with crotch chops as they make their way to the ring.

The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) and Ace Austin (w/ WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman) vs. The System (Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards and Moose w/ Alisha Edwards)

(It was announced during the Countdown Show that JDC will not be in the match tonight, due to travel issues. Moose will be replacing JDC)

The bell rings as Myers kicks Wentz. Wentz comes back and takes down Myers. Miguel is tagged in, as they double team Myers. Edwards is tagged in…Ace is tagged in. He drop kicks Edwards and then follows up with a slam. Ace kicks Edwards, who then tags in Miguel who comes in and pays homage to the Road Dogg with his punches. On the floor, Miguel jaws at Alisha on the floor. Miguel gets back up on the apron and is taken out by Edwards. On the floor, Edwards slaps Miguel and then mocks Waltman. Miguel is sent back in the ring and Moose is in and steps on the back of Miguel. He uses Miguel’s shirt to choke him out while the ref is distracted. Myers is tagged in. He stomps on the back of Miguel and then his in a front face lock. Miguel fights out of it. Myers tags in Edwards who comes and grinds his knee into Miguel. Edwards grabs Miguel, who comes back, but Edwards tags Myers in. Myers covers Miguel, but he kicks out at two. Myers has Miguel in a headlock, who fights back, but Myers grabs him and face plants him on the mat. Myers charges at Miguel, but he comes back with a big knee strike.

Moose comes in, but is set to the floor. Miguel tries to tag, but The System pulls Wentz and Ace off the apron. The System triple team Miguel. Moose covers Miguel, but Ace breaks up the pin attempt. Moose picks up Miguel, who tries to fight back…Miguel finally makes a tag to Wentz. He drop kicks Moose and Edwards. Wentz sends Edwards to the floor and hits Moose with a knee strike. He covers Moose, who kicks out at two!…Wentz comes off the ropes and lands on Moose. He covers Moose, but Edwards and Myers break up the tag…Miguel and Wentz takes out the System…Alisha comes in. Waltman walks in. Alisha slaps Waltman, but he drops her face first, as we get the suck it and then bronco busters from Ace, Wentz and Miguel on The System…Moose is left in the ring with Wentz. Wentz spears Moose and then drops him with a cutter and pins him!

Winners by pinfall: Ace Austin and The Rascalz

We go backstage with Gia Miller in the backstage area trying to talk to Steve Maclin, but he won’t say anything. He gets up and walks off.

Back in the venue, the lights go out, as the challenger in Eric Young makes his way to the ring with the Northern Armory.

Next up is the champion, as Steve Maclin makes his way out.

TNA International Championship Match: Steve Maclin defends against Eric Young

Maclin runs down the ramp and takes out the Northern Armory.

The bell rings as Maclin goes right after Young with big jabs…Young fires back but Maclin sends him to the floor. Maclin runs the ropes and dives over the ropes, taking out Young and the Northern Armory. On the floor, Maclin goes after the Northern Armory…Maclin is distracted and then taken out. He goes back in the ring and is nailed by Young. Maclin tries to fight back and hits Young and hangs him on the ropes. The Northern Armoy hit the ring. The ref sends them to the back, but not before Maclin clothesline them over the ropes. Maclin charges at Young but he moves as Maclin hits the floor. The ringside doctors are checking on him as he is bleeding from the top of his head.

Young goes to the floor and rolls Maclin back in the ring. Young covers Maclin, but he kicks out at two Maclin fires back on Young with punches and back elbow. Maclin covers Young, but he kicks out at two. Maclin is up on the top rope. Young leaps up, but then gets caught as Maclin comes down with a big stomp on Young. Young falls and Maclin covers him for only a two count. Young on the top rope. Maclin goes up as Young bites Maclin, sending him to the mat. Young comes down with a big elbow drop. Young covers Maclin, but he kicks out at two. The ref threatens to hit the ref. Maclin hits Young as both men are on the apron. Young pokes Maclin in the eye, as both men then drops to the mat. Young rolls Maclin in the ring and covers him, but Maclin kicks out at two.

Young jaws at Maclin who gets up and nails Young…both men exchange blows. Maclin nails Young with a big knee. Maclin rolls up Young and pins him to retain.

Winner by pinfall and still TNA International Champion: Steve Maclin

After the match, Northern Armoy hit the ring, taking out Maclin from behind. Young has a big chain and wraps it around the neck of Maclin, trying to hang him off the ropes. Maclin passes out and drops to the floor.

Hype package for our next match airs.

First up, is Mustafa Ali, who gets a live dance company performing his entrance. Ali’s security them comes out, followed by Ali with Tasha Steelz and the Great Hands.

We go backstage with Mike Santana making his way to the ring. He is led to the ring by two boxing champions, who’s names I missed. They make their way out from the crowd.

Falls Count Anywhere: Mike Santana vs. Mustafa Ali

The bell rings as both men exchange blows. Mike kicks Ali with a superkick. Santana sends Ali to the floor. Santana goes over the top and lands on Ali who is still on the floor. Santana chops Ali. Santana grabs part of the steel steps and sets it up. Ali then slams Santana’s head into the steps. Ali goes to the ring and then leaps through the ropes and is sent into the steps. Santana covers Ali, but he kicks out. Ali runs up the rampway, as Santana follows. Santana leaps of the ramp onto Santana. Santana grabs popcorn from a fan and tosses it on Ali. Santana then climbs the guardrail as the action is well into the fans, leaps off and lands on Ali. Santana covers him, but Ali kicks out at two. The action is the passage way to the concession area. Ali’s security come and take out Santana. Ali leaps off the second level of the seating area and onto Santana, the Great Hands and his security.

Ali grabs Santana and brings him back to ringside. Ali pulls out steel chairs from under the ring and sets them up. Santana is up and fights back. Santana picks up Ali and drops him back first on the chairs. Santana drags Ali. Santana goes to top trop, but Ali is up and nails Santana with a chair. Santana is caught in the chair. Ali connects with a big coast to coast on Santana, who drops to the floor. Ali covers him, but he kicks out a two. Ali rolls Santana back in the ring. The fans want tables! Santana gets up and headbutts Santana and then connects with a big boot to the face! We get TNA chants. The Great Hands grab Santana out of the ring and set up a table. The Great Hands put Santana on the table and hold him down, as Ali comes down with a huge 450! The tables breaks in half. Ali covers Santana, but he won’t stay down! The Great Hands grab part of the steel steps and put it in the ring. They set it up in the corner. They pull out handcuffs, but Santana fights back, taking them out.

Santana handcuffs the Great Hands and then goes under the ring and pulls out a barbed wire bat, but Ali comes from behind and hits Santana with a cutter. Santana comes back and drops Ali and covers him, but Tasha Steelz breaks up the pin attempt. Steelz then grabs a table from under the ring and sets it up. Santana sends Ali into the ring post. Steelz is up on the apron and tries to slap Santana. He stops her and then powerbombs her through a table, as the fans go nuts! From behind, Ali hits Santana from behind. Ali then pulls out a table. He puts it in the ring and sets it up. Ali grabs Santana and sets him up on the table. Ali goes to the top, but Santana is up and climbs the steel steps and superplexes Ali through the table! Santana covers Ali – 1, 2, NO! Ali is still alive! We get a this is awesome chant. Ali grabs the barbed wire bat and hits Santana in the head with it. Santana is down and bleeding. Santana is back up. Ali tires to hit Santana, but he blocks it and hits Ali with a spin the block and covers him for the win!

We go ringside with Gia Miller introducing Indi Hartwell who is the newest signing for TNA.

Back in the venue, the music for Tessa Blanchard hits, as she makes her way out and down to the ring. Next up is the champion, Masha Slamovich who makes her way to the ring.

TNA Knockouts World Championship Match: Masha Slamovich defends against Tessa Blanchard

Masha nails Masha just before the bell rings. Masha continues to work on Tessa. Masha hits a snowplow on Tessa and covers her, but Tessa kicks out. Tessa comes back and takes out the legs of Masha. Tessa covers Masha for only a two count. Tessa covers her again, but Masha won’t stay down. Masha is set up on the ropes as Tessa hits her with a running knee. Tessa is on the apron. Masha goes after Tessa and then leaps over the ropes and lands on Masha. Tessa covers her for only a two count. Tessa jaws at Masha, who fights back with punches. Tessa then comes back and kicks Masha who goes down. Tessa covers Masha, but she kicks out at two. Tessa picks up Masha setting her up upside on the ropes. Tessa works on the left knee of Masha. Tessa sets up the leg and connects with a running drop kick. Masha falls to the mat and Tessa covers her for only a two count. Tessa picks up Masha and works on the left leg, trying to tie up her legs. Tessa lays into Masha’s legs. Tessa covers Masha, but she kicks out at two. Tessa continues to work on the injured leg of Masha. Tessa then kicks Masha in the back of head, trying to get heat from the fans who have been mostly quiet for this match.

Tessa comes off the second rope and hits a destroyer on Masha…she recovers and drops Tessa with a code-red. Both women are down. Masha and Tessa get back to their feet. Masha kicks Tessa and then connects with a German Suplex and covers Tessa for a only a two count. Masha grabs Tessa, who rolls up Masha and makes a pin attempt, but Tessa kicks out at two. Tessa takes down Masha with a dragons screw and then applies a figure four leg lock on Masha and hammers away on Masha’s knees. Tessa bites Masha and gets a warning by the ref. Tessa ties up Masha, but Masha gras the bottom rope to break the hold. Tessa kicks Masha in the face and trash talks her. Tessa grabs the hair of Masha and then slaps her. Tessa sets up Masha on the top rope, but then gets caught in the corner. Masha is up on the top as Tessa comes down and drops Masha with a form of her finisher. Tessa covers Masha, but she kicks out at two. Tessa looks for a buzzsaw, but Masha counters. We get a lets go Cena, Cena sucks chant. Masha then picks up Tessa and drops her and then covers her for only a two count. Tessa drops Masha with a buzzsaw! Tessa covers Masha, but she kicks out at two! Tessa goes to the top rope, as Masha is up and slaps Tessa. Masha is up on the second rope and attempts to suplex Tessa. Tessa fights back, as Masha headbutts Tessa and they fall to the mat… Masha puts an armbar on Tessa who taps out.

We go to a hype package for our next match of the night.

Back in the venue the Nemeth Brothers come out with the tag title belts, which they stole on Thursday from the real champions in the Hardys. Next up are the Hardys, who come out to a huge ovation!

TNA Tag Team Championship Match: The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) defends against Nic and Ryan Nemeth

The Hardys for go right after the Nemeth brothers, sending them to the outside. We get a Hardy chant from the fans.

The bell rings as Matt goes after Nic, as Jeff takes out Ryan on the outside. Nic tries to kick Matt, but he blocks it and connects with a twist of fate on Nic. Matt covers Nic, but he kicks out at two Matt then tags in Jeff as they double team him. Jeff covers Nic, but he kicks out at two. Nic tags in Ryan, who hits Jeff and then tag back in Nic. Ryan holds Jeff, as Nic kicks Jeff. Nic picks up Jeff and nails him with a big right hand. Ryan is tagged in. Ryan hits Jeff and then mocks him. Ryan takes down Jeff, who fights back and tags in Matt. Matt grabs Ryan and slams his head on the turnbuckle. Matt picks up Ryan and drops him with a side effect and covers him for only a two count. Ryan tags in Nic, who lays right hands into Matt. Nic distracts the ref, as Ryan punches Matt who is down on the mat. Nic drops an elbow on Matt. Nic picks up Matt and pushes him int the corner and tags in Ryan, who applies a headlock on Matt. Matt tries to fight back, but Ryan drops him back first on the mat. Ryan covers Matt for only a two count. Matt fights back and rolls up Ryan, but he kicks out at two. Both men take each other down as the ref check on both men. Tags are made…Jeff drops Nic with an atomic drop. Jeff then lands a big elbow on Nic and covers him, but Nic kicks out. Jeff then connects on Nic with a whisper in the wind! Jeff covers Nic, but he kicks out a two! Jeff then hits a twist of fait on Nic and covers him, but Ryan breaks up the pin attempt. The Hardys double team Nic, as Ryan comes in to break up a pinfall attempt by Jeff. Matt and Ryan hit the floor…Nic hits a famaser on Jeff in the ring and covers him – 1, 2 NO! Jeff kicks out!

Nic sets up a superkick, but Jeff blocks it. Matt is back in the ring as they double team Nic with a poetry in motion. Matt hits a side effect on Nic and then Jeff hits a twist of fait, but Matt steps over the ref to block Ryan as Nic kicks out at two…Matt drops Ryan on the floor with a neck breaker. Matt then grabs a steel chair and sets it up, as Ryan then drops Matt on the chair. As the refs back is turned, Nic low-blows Jeff and then hits him with a Danger-zone and tags in Ryan to make the cover, to get the win.

On the stage, Santina Marella is on the stage with Gia Miller and the Busted Open Radio crew, asking them for their picks for the winner of tonight’s World Title Match.

Hype package airs for the final match of the night.

Frankie Kazarian is out first, as he is carrying the call your shot trophy. Next up is Ethan Page. Finally, the champion in Joe Hendry makes his way out and to the ring as the fans sing along to his music.

TNA World Championship Triple Threat Match: Joe Hendry defends against Frankie Kazarian and Ethan Page

The bell rings as we are underway! Hendry goes after Page and Kaz…he sends Page to the floor and tries going for standing ovation. Kaz goes to the floor, as he and Page duke it out. Hendry then leaps over the ropes and lands on both men. Page is back in the ring. Page nails Kaz and then takes down Hendry, nailing him with big right hands. Hendry kicks Kaz, but his dropped with a suplex by Page. Hendry is then dropped by a big back elbow from Page. Kaz is on the floor and grabs a table from under the ring. Kaz comes back in the ring and hits Hendry and then kicks Page. Kaz rolls up Hendry, but the champ kicks out…Kaz grabs Page, attempting a chicken wing, but Page stomps him, sending him into the turnbuckle…As page and Hendry go down, Kaz tries pinning both Page and Hendry, but they kick out. Page attempts an ego’s edge, but Kaz escapes…Page goes to the top rope, as Hendry leaps up and picks him on the top rope. Kaz is up and nails the champion. Hendry picks up Kaz, as Page climbs up on Kaz…Hendry drops both men. Hendry covers Kaz, but he kicks out at two! Hendry sends Page to the floor. Kaz then connects with a leg drop on Hendry. Kaz and Page fight on the outside. Page sends Kaz into the time keepers table, taking out ringside staff. Page sets up a table, while officials check on Kaz and the ringside staff. Page picks up Hendry, but Kaz comes over and nails Page with the trophy. Kaz sends Hendry back into the ring and connects with a slingshot DDT. Kaz covers Hendry, but he kicks out at two! Kaz then hits a fade to black on Hendry, but Page breaks up the pin attempt.

Page and Kaz exchange blows. Kaz hits Page with a backstabber, but he fires back with a backstabber on Kaz. Hendry then hits Page with an Olympic Slam. Kaz then grabs Hendry and drops him with an Angels Wings. Kaz covers Hendry, but he kicks out at two. All three men exchange blows. Kaz then takes down Page as Kaz tries for a chicken wing on Hendry. Hendry starts to fade as he goes down. Hendry starts to come back and is up on his feet and rolls Kaz to the apron. Hendry picks up Kaz and slams him through the table, as it breaks in several pieces. Hendry goes back in the ring as Page attempts to hit Page with the title belt…Page drops Hendry face first with a cutter on the belt and covers Hendry, who kicks out at two! Hendry hits Page with a standing ovation to retain.

Winner and still TNA World Champion: Joe Hendry

After the match, Trick Williams comes in from behind out of nowhere and hits Hendry with a spin kick. As Hendry gets up, Trick nails him with a big knee to the face. Trick picks up the TNA World Title, looks at it and throws it down on Hendry…the show goes off the air.
